this is to aware the newbies who going to start crypto specially day trading.

i had portfolio 4400 usd, i entered to day trading. i lost almost 1500$ , now my portfolio is 2800$n ... i have done stupid day trading on non - popular tokens.

please get a advice , if you do not know anything about day trading its better to avoid from it

The biggest loss is that I only bought one currency. Its life and death are related to my life and death. All my funds are in it. I think that the decline of the market has caused it to plummet. Now I can't sell it. I can only wait and hope to rise.

did you already sold your tokens? or not? if not, you still not lose your money, as long as you wait for its price to go back to its price when you buy it, you will still be able to get your money back, just chill out. dont think that you have lost your money.

I had lost about 1 BTC in various coins in yobit. A coin named exit, that was a long way back. Exit was rising and I bought a lot of them at 6 satoshis a piece. But the price came down to 1 and never rose. I had to at last exchange it for dogecoin as they were not even exchanging for a satoshi.

It's not always the case that a coin will rise back. Sometime they go down to 1 satoshi, and then it's removed from satoshi market to litoshi, and then it moves to doge market. It's not always wise to go down with the declining market. I believe the person has a better decision to cut his losses by selling at whatever price he can get.

I think we should learn to hold for a long time.
When the token started to fall, then I panicked, and after selling the token, there was a big increase in the price.

i normally holder , but the problem is this time i day trade thats the problem. what to do i learnt a lesson.

I think it's almost impossible to find a good trading day in the crypto currency. This is as lucky. You just need to get in time in good time and be in a good place

To be frank, I am not in a loss. I have a firm believer in bitcoin. It is the most reliable coin and the leader of the market. Now the price is getting lower but I do not need to worry, in fact the investors of bitcoin do not need to worry as we know that the price will rise very soon. Ups and downs are the common thing here.

it is normal to loose your profit because of this bearish market. but there is one important thing. when the trend changes and turns to bullish, only some good altcoins are going to be pumped, not crap coins. you should be careful about that.

add my tip that stay away from shit and bad quality coins, only trade high volume quality coins that you can select from top 10 or top 20 list, they are best for day trading as they have better volume, good trading charts and candles to trade for short time frames for some profit.

Its not actually stupid trading as long as it is first time trade, and you should simply learn from your lessons, by dyor (doing your own research) and monitoring every marker trends of all tokens in your portfolio.
Learn about trading with small $, perfect it and make your own strategy then you can learn from crypto day trading.
For me i lost about 400$ and its been huge, but life must go on

I am a holder not a day trader. I will compare it to a cake if you guys wants a piece of cake then that's a short profit. But if your a holder and wants it all then i can give you a bunch of cake That's why i keep buying altcoins on bearish market. The biggest thing that i will ever have.

i think that you can lose a lot, but if ylu did not give away all ylur money, it is not the end of the world in my opinino

My biggest day trading loss was when I bought netkoin few days ago with the hope of trading it after some time,right before my eyes the token started reducing in price that a made a huge loss after trading it

Currently I am in - 70% loss, I started trading in 2017 and bought Bitcoin for 17 000USD and some other altcoins like: Litecoin and Ethereum.
But no problem, if I hold this position for longer time, I will be in profit, I hope :D.

Its more of a beware rather then aware and its so true it happens to newbie traders now and then. I still see people chasing pump n dump coins with 0 fundamentals behind them.
More or less nearly everyone in the crypto space has fallen for such instances. Day trading is only for people who have good knowledge of not just TA but also FA and who understand market sentiments well.

My biggest lost when i accidentally click sell button and lose 6000usd in a single trade. I don't want to recommend margin trading for bitcoin. i guess you should hodl alot of altcoins. trading is risky. Holding altcoins are much easier to get.

I think that you need to trade much more time to understand that day trading is not so easy as you think. You will understand it soon. There are three important things on trading every day (money management, risk, emotional control)

Once I lost around 900 bucks when tried to wait a bit. My tokens is a few days became nothing, but I had chance to sell them.

Same with me mate, when bitcoin rise up to $19000 o invest all of my money when it rises to $20000 i keep holdimg because i thought that it will rise up, months after it falls down to $15000 and i absolutely sell it, i loss a big money that day and now il still recovering.

Day trading takes a lot of practice to be able to be profitable.
You need to develop two to three strict trading strategies and base those strategies off of actual data.

That means that you have to get good at interpreting data and making moves that will take advantage of swings and trends.

A lot of people think it's some magical 8 ball thing and you can't predict the future, but that is not the truth.
The truth is that you can make fairly accurate predictions if you are good enough at interpreting the data, and that takes a lot of knowledge and time.

I have also tried day trading and lost a lot of money.
However, I stuck with it, learned from my mistakes, adjusted as I went along, and started using a lot of tools to help me.

Now, I find it to be one of the most profitable ways to earn.

It is up to you whether you want to stick it out, but I can tell you, if you are up the task and you do learn and grow, there is great profit that can be had.

I am new in this market so i don’t get any opportunity to do day trading. Some experience person says day trading is risky. So everyone needs to avoid this.

The market of crypto currency is extremely unpredictable. The chances of incurring loss is extremely high. Without proper knowledge investor should not make any investment, as the number of scammers is high. Also the coins should be stored in safe wallet to avoid being hacked and stolen. Then again before making any investment the investor should consult other members.

It is still too soon to label the losers and winners. The best will be to not to lose faith in the bitcoins. Because, even when the prices are low, they will jump up soon by the end of the year, according to the analytics. The investors are still advised to be patient and t hold on to their coins.

Late is always better than never :). Happy that you finally know it :). You guys should stay away from day trading at this time if you guys are not good traders cause at the moment it's really hard to predict which cryptocurrency will rise and which one will fall so it's almost impossible to find out good coin to invest in at this down time.

In trading the crypto currency it is not obvious that you will always make profits. Sometimes wind can change its direction in a very short period of time.

I have also experienced like you, because at that time I did not know much about investing into the world of crypto. At that time I lost half of my capital. And I do wait for the price to go up and not lose. The key is patience. I hope this helps.

I bought some ethereum for fast day traiding when price was very interested but for this moment my wallet decreased by 50%, but it is not lost because i did not sold these coins. If you lost money in day traiding the best option is wait when coin will achieve old good price and you will can sell its with profit

That's an interesting post. We have to be very careful when investing on day trading. Moreover, we should invest in more than one cryptocurrency.

if you already sold your tokens, that mean you're really lost your money, I don't recommend day trading in current market dip if you not a smart investor, you'll lost all your money in a single day, try to choose some popular coins and hold for price up later, maybe it'll earn back what you lost

I dont do much of day trading but what you did is not a good idea because before you do day trading you should pick a coin that has a decent amount of movement or trading volume and never choose a coin that does not have demand on exchanges. What I do when day trading is choose a coin from top coins in the market that dropped its value like 5 to 10% but should also search why the price goes down because it might drop a little but more.

I agree it doesn't matter how much you put money in and day trade on it. I guess right now we need to dig deeper on reading technicals, But fundamentals is much more important in bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

honestly speaking I don't have to face that much loss in trading, I agree that market keep changing a lot but at that time I decided to hold so that I don't have to face loss , in here you have to understand the timing which time is good time for trading,a big change always comes to the market so waiting for it is a wish decision

So far none and actually, I'm more on profit in the past days. Now I have to secure some profit as the market dumps again. Day trading is quiet fun seeing how volatile the market is and I know experience trader knows this market as a great place to take profit.

I also agree with the fact that if you do not understand anything in the market you do not need to invest money, you first need to understand this area and then invest :)

Oh, I have lost more than 100 in daytrading, it is just a pass-time for me and I don´t invest large sums. I don´t make much gains either I rekon.

My biggest failure and loss was about 30% of the portfolio at one day, when i try to make some cash participating in planned (via telegram group) pump of shitcoin with a low trading amount on HitBTC exchange. After that i realized that it was just a fraudlent action of telegram group organisators.

Seem like you'd fallen in trap of the whales cause I don't think there is any way you can lose that much money by day trading cause price of cryptocurrency often don't pump or dump too much in just a single day so it's almost impossible to lose thousands of dollars by investing in any cryptocurrency although it's just a new cryptocurrency and not too popular.

The whales are always luring people to get in through doin a little pump to the shitcoin and then after those interesting to buy that and the whales will try to go out as fast as possible and take a very hige profit from there. OP gets trapped the whales and that's obviously true or he was investing on shitcoin with low volume,

Make a list of coins that can be traded. I'm not really interested in trading, but if you've decided to do it, then maybe you should take a few lessons? It's cheaper ;)

It has to be the time that I lost about $1k worth because I had bought into a coin then the coin ended up getting delisted from exchanges in a couple of days before I even had the chance to sell them. I have made other losses at different times but that has been the most loss that I have made from a single trade. Which is why I am more wary of the coin I trade in.

I remember losing my $1000, when i was a newbie, i heard about paccoin and i invested in the coin and few days later the price dump so bad that i managed to sell off and got around $100 plus dollars back

Because I am good at analysis chart, so I'll often get me by day trading profits, but sometimes I felt chagrined at the, because when I sleep, then the policies of other countries friendly information could make the whole market has a sharp rise, but most of the time, I will miss this and lose my money.

It's good I never experienced major losses in daily trading, I was lucky I always benefit when daily trading. If the asset has decreased the value of my vote for holding assets of a few days or I traded with other assets. that's how I earn a profit.

If you want to day trading, do it with a popular coin. like BTC, ETH, ETC, BCH, XRP... this coin is so popular and has big volume.
If you had day trading with the non-popular coins you will lose the money, cause I have experience with it. to avoid it better to use popular coin which has big volume and speculative/volatile.

There was also a time I lost as much this same amount to day trading and that was due to lack of experience and knowledge of trading and I think it is very good for you to have background knowledge of trading and very good experience for you not to make big mistakes and you should also know when to buy and sell and you should also not be too greedy.

I can feel you day trading is something more complex which require more time and effort compare to long term trade if you does not have the knowledge please stay away before you get hurt. Due to greed i once lost almost 50% of my portfolio to the market.

Its really not advisable for a newbie to do day trading without knowledge about it. Trading is a thing that we should study, research and give time to learn. I read one post here saying that we should not let our emotions take over our mind or else we will get burn.

Personally, I had a second option. I began to lose money quickly and panic, and then I realized that it's better not to risk my money and buy tokens for a long time.
