Title: building my first rig Post by: bil on February 12, 2014, 06:49:40 PM OK built my rig had it running with 1 r9 290 and a xfx 7950 great hash, but everything was slow had a lot of cpu usage . i got a lot of 8 6850's in and tested each card in the rig by itself all worked 280/310 khs for 1 hr , still had issues with cpu usage. when i put in 3 of the 6850's system would not boot and the 1 time it did BAMT only saw gpu 0 still to much cpu usage what am i doing wrong the mother board is asrock 970 x 4 with amd sempron 2.8 ghz 1.0 g and ripjaws 2048mb x2 .Like i said had i going great for a week with the other cards but they were meant to upgrade other rigs .i just used them to prepare for the 6850's to get hear
