Title: Betabeat drops bitcoin section Post by: julz on September 30, 2011, 05:54:29 AM It looks like betabeat (http://www.betabeat.com/) has removed the bitcoin icon and link on their frontpage to bitcoin stories.
Also recently - the jupiterbroadcasting guys who do the TechSNAP videos mentioned they may drop their 'Bitcoin Blaster' section of the show if there wasn't much happening. I guess bitcoin is getting a bit boring for some in the tech media. Ah well - with the run of mostly bad press bitcoin has had in the past few months, maybe 'boring' is a good thing and we can enjoy some relative price stability! Title: Re: Betabeat drops bitcoin section Post by: BitcoinPorn on September 30, 2011, 09:20:33 AM It seems Betabeat Bitcoin coverage was one person http://www.betabeat.com/tags/bitcoin/ writing it all, maybe she jumped out? She is still writing for them.

She is still writing for them. I thought it was a bit odd that they had a specific bitcoin section. I believe Bruce Wagner introduced them to mybitcoin and they lost some money, though she was interviewed on his show at the time, and it's worth watching (if you have a leg fetish) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5UaFZSv_YY Title: Re: Betabeat drops bitcoin section Post by: BitcoinPorn on September 30, 2011, 06:30:36 PM and it's worth watching (if you have a leg fetish) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5UaFZSv_YY +1 Title: Re: Betabeat drops bitcoin section Post by: Yankee (BitInstant) on October 01, 2011, 03:09:00 AM It looks like betabeat (http://www.betabeat.com/) has removed the bitcoin icon and link on their frontpage to bitcoin stories.
