Really shocking news of Bancor Exchnager. $12.5 million worth of ethereum and $1 million worth of  Pundi X has been stolen. They published this news on their twitter page. And I collect this news from CNBC website. It will affect on market. Really this is shocking.

AFAIK they are still quite new to their operation and this happens.

I guess they have been scouted by the hackers for a very long time and this is a planned hack. The amount that was breached isn't a joke for this type of exchange.

I also saw this news  and the market  again fell. Terrible news. This year, often hacking these or other  exchanges. There were only for this long fall  already several cases of hacking.

Don't know what exchange will be the next victim :(. Hackers are trying to hack all crypto exchanges although it's the best exchange like Binance also couldn't do anything to stop hacker and they also lost about 7000 BTC. I think we need to do something to stop these hackers from hacking cryptocurrency and make crypto market become worse

it will affect the market only on short terms basis, nothing substantial you would remember in few days. But it's of course bad for the users, I hope their get their funds back

And if this is true i can smell something fishy here since this exchanger has been newly operational and yet experienced this hacking issue .maybe the team has a lot to explain about this

It's very unfortunate the Bancor Exchange was hacked with the lost of that huge sum of $12.5 million worth of Ethereum and $1 million worth of Pundi X. I think one of the biggest problems of the internet and blockchain technology is the issue of security. I believe they will do something to relieve the situation.

I think hackers attacking on their DNS, because Its most dangerous attack. All the information they gather and steal the currency. So sad for Bancor and who's next. Binance also lost BTC. Some terrible news coming and market falling day by day.

I remember first days of Bancor, how it was born and developed..
Feel sorry for them, it`s too difficult to repair image in crypto and regain the trust back..

I wonder what was the fault of hacking? Do we know it..?

Oh my got! Another exchange was hacked in few months.
Will they try to recover the funds? Because if not, this exchange will die soon.
