Title: Need desperate help retrieving ZEC off of Ledger device Post by: holphembrecht on July 11, 2018, 12:20:12 AM The Overwinter update borked my Ledger's ability to send coins. It's been a couple weeks, and I really want access to these coins.
EDITTED: I've tried CS, they don't seem to understand what I'm asking. I used the 24 word phrase to derive addresses to get private keys to get my ZEC off the Ledger device. After using the block chain explorer, I found the address holding my ZEC wasn't listed in the derived list from the 24 word phrase. My questions are: 1: Why does the holding address not exist in the list off addresses derived by the bip32 generator, while the receipt addresses do? 2: How do I get the private key from the HOLDING address, when it isn't in the phrase list addresses? |
