Title: Brave browser ! For anti malware and blocking ads
Post by: Chris84 on July 11, 2018, 02:40:56 AM
Brave browser has launched to those people who are not already know what brave browser is i hope i can help here in the forum spreading my ideas. Today i want to share one of the best searcher aside from google chrome, mozilla firefox, etc. The BRAVE BROWSER ! we all know that google chrome and mozilla firefox is best searcher around the world but when you open it and start searching as you can see their too many ads that pop up. In BRAVE BROWSER they block all ads and also this is best searcher against hacking. Because this is also a anti-malware. Especially if you are a trader if you want to access your funds in myetherwallet, coinbase, imtoken, blockchainwallet, exchange, etc. You are safe because this also a security to prevent loosing your funds. Those who are using smartphone you can download it via GOOGLE PLAYSTORE https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brave.browser or just visit their website https://brave.com for more information i hope i can help with this thankyou.

+1 for the Brave browser.

Also a fan of this brave browser mostly because of the monetary benefit/compensation as well. I read somewhere that they paid around $5 worth of BAT tokens monthly so i signed up just to try it. Eventually i fell in love with it because it is simple, easy-to-use, not much different from google chrome, but more importantly, IT PAYS.

Unfortunately their referral program has ended, I like this part.
what is more important is that brave has given us tokens "bat" and that has been registered in various exchanges.
soon everyone will adopt brave as their main browser.

Even if you forget the monetary benefit part, Brave is still one hell of a good browser for privacy reasons. Sure you can do the same thing with Firefox and by installing the necessary plugins, but having almost everything built in on one program feels snappier.

Gotta love initiatives like the BRAVE browser. Their developers made such an amazing job designing it and adding all the present functionalities. This is exactly what I expect from a crypto project - to create a real use case with good marketing and all the qualities to replace our current day-to-day use with a better, more efficient method. There were many articles especially on Publish0x that showed that BRAVE is over the classic Chrome browser we all use, at many aspects including RAM demand! Not even talking about the integratet BAT economy model that is still in development, anti-malware and ad blockers that work so good together!

Overall, BRAVE is faster and safer  ;D

I have been using the brave browser for 6 months now and I have also accumulated a nice amount of BAT coins since.

I must say I really enjoy using it, as it's pretty much like using chrome with an included free ad-blocker. For those that don't know it, they also have a "enable ads and get paid in BAT" option but unfortunately it's not available in my country. My only problem with it is that certain niche plug ins (like hootsuite) don't work properly. Other than that, it's just perfect for normal everyday use and you can also import all your profiles from chrome or firefox, making the transition easy peasy!

Brave is one of fast. privacy friendly and less Ram Usage Browser right now. Using it since launched. but Brave TOR is not as privacy friendly as TOR Onion Browser. Browser Fingerprinting is still big issue for Brave Browser.

For example if you login to your google account in regular tab. and use different google service in private tab and TOR tab. Google may able to link all other tab content to regular tab account. because it may not share Cookies but Google uses different tracking methods. so your Brave TOR Tab activity may track back your real identity. not happened with real Onion Tor Browser.

I've been using it for a couple of months now. The only thing I don't like about it is sometimes I find websites that don't work properly with it. This is mostly websites that ask you to sign in your Google account. I'm really not sure why they don't work, but it's about the only reason I ever have to load up Chrome anymore. Also, I think it would be good if they implemented the BAT wallet directly into the browser instead of having to go through Uphold. I don't like having to sell my identity for such small amounts of money.

Frankly, I've been disappointed, it misses some ads that Ublock origin doesn't miss especially ads within Gmail, also I wasn't able to find any paying ads and finally, I wasn't able to activate my uphold wallet with my national ID even though it's included in the list and when i contacted their support it was unhelpful and stupid, really disappointed, I still use it though coz of course Google is the devil.

What is more, have you heard that now you can tip someone comment in twitter with BAT token?

If you don't mind answering, why did you even attempt to activate your uphold account(to earn BAT I assume) if you're going to block all the ads anyway? They earn through you viewing ads.

You currently can only tip on Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, Reddit, or to websites(that are verified Brave publishers)[1]. While tipping on Facebook might be cool, good luck looking for people on Facebook that actually knows what BAT is.

As much as I want to, I completely doubt it. Google's Chrome browser is just too big; too big that it's pretty much pre-installed on most computers being sold on the market. For Chrome to be dethroned from the #1 spot, the competitor should be a beast that's almost equally as big as Google.

He's probably referring to this "Brave Reward Coin" thing: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5118998.0

I believe it's a scam that's trying to take advantage of Brave's growing name. There's zero mention of this on Brave and BAT's website.

Basing up on the link hes asking to download on which is: https://brave.com/bra772 which is clearly a referral link being shared.

I havent read up the entire thread thoroughly but its clear that this one is shady. The only thing i do know about brave browser rewards is
on that BAT thing where you do saw up some advertisements and getting some BAT points.

Brave browser is very fast, lightweight, built with adblocker and privacy in mind. Brave browser has a token called Basic Attention Token (BAT) it's among the top 50 coins on coinmarketcap today. BAT tokens are distributed to content providers on the Brave network.

Why Brave browser when you can DuckDuck go with uBlock. It's pretty much the same I guess.
So why should we install a browser particularly to blocks ads and website trackers when the same can easily be done in a few clicks,

I mostly used my brave browser rather than google chrome in my desktop when i am watching movies online, so i could be protected in malwares and ads. Using brave browser is convenient as google chrome, but the difference is it is good for anti malware and for blocking ads, that is why using this browser is much safer than other browsers. You could also earn rewards like BAT from watching ads, referrals and receiving from other brave browser users.

I have been using brave browser but not fully using it.
I just notice that my browsing experience is getting better, that very annoying advertisements are now gone and I am enjoy browsing privately.
Though I am aware that there's a reward, but I am not interested with it, I just want to enjoy a fast browsing experience everytime.

I never tried using brave browser before and I always use google chrome even if for streaming purposes. My question is what is the difference of brave browser and adblock for chrome in terms of blocking ads. Since then I just use chrome with adblock extension and I've never encountered a serious problem. For malwares I have anti-malware software installed on my pc.

its too obvious that they are using popularity of brave browser ,as i visit the bounty thread they give thier own token which brave do not have and only giving BAT token to users and publishers.

People do really love to tie up things which is currently hyping knowing that Brave browser does make some noise.
Scammers or shady projects tends to make use or utilize the hype on making money but if we do actually visit out
the said browser they a rent really offering or tied up something with rave reward coin and as you said they do only
had that BAT rewards for advertisers.

I always used Google Chrome for browsing, but about 3 months ago someone recommended Brave browser. Then I tried to use
to date. And apparently it is very satisfying, I feel that browsing is faster and certainly safer than the browser another because
it is equipped with anti-malware and blocking ads. What makes me most happy is that there are rewards in Brave Browser, that is
you can generate Basic Attention Token (BAT) tokens from watching ads. It's amazing right, please try it yourself if you don't believe it.

Brave browser has a lot to offer. Blocking ads is already a great breather for a lot of internet users. We all know how we are choked up with all these useless ads popping out from everywhere. That is enough reason for shifting to Brave. And then anti-malware is another great addition. And on top of that they are also giving away free BAT tokens for watching ads. This project is working quite well and consistently. They are one of the old projects but are still towering over new projects.

Not to earn through ads, rather to become a brave verified creator which I became, sans being able to receive BAT

Brave Browser is indeed  a good browser and it is nice to hear that it has a lot of builtin security which can be a great help in protecting ones information and coin related credentials online. No one can afford losing such information especially when it is related to bitcoin which is the most precious digital asset. One must go for the secure options available. Still, it is not recommended to entirely depend browser.

On my linux mint 17, Brave has way more possibilities then a usual Chrome.  It is really difficult to find a such functionable browser on this platform, especially I love TOR function. Yeah, it would be nice to see Google account compatibility.
Shame but I still can`t redeem any rewards inside...Maybe because of my region of residence.

Wow. I just tried it today and there's a huge difference in their RAM consumption.
I tried opening just 6 tabs on google chrome (all just pages here on Bitcointalk) and it already eats around 816mb of RAM.
While on Brave, opening same number of tabs is 50% lower at 439mb. That surely is a plus factor especially to those who have less resources but loves multi-tasking.
Add to the fact that this has built-in security features and rewards system; Man, I'm gonna use 'til forever.  ;D

Clearly you havent used the browser, its the same as the creators who made mozilla firefox which is a big competitor of google back then.
The browser has many security feature and its more faster compared to chrome.

I've been using brave for around 6 months and I'm not for the earning of BAT but the feature that it has is impressive, the very thing of having no ads is already a plus for me but the thing of having an opportunity to earn BAT.

Well that's more than enough! Chrome sucks and eats a lot from our RAM and with this Brave is a good thing. I don't know if GC is already threatened by the increasing popularity of BB.

It does what it's been advertised, the rewards system is it's biggest feature they have announced months ago that they are going to launch a get paid to view ads and international members will be included, it's a win-win situation if it pushes through because it could compete with AdWords, making them compete with big advertising network like Facebook and Google.
