Its part of the growth that bitcoin needed just like how we grow into an adult. You fall and you get up. Its life.

It is possible they sold coins they didn't have to clients, which was ok as long as most clients didn't withdraw the BTC out of their accounts. This could be a "bank run" on MtGox but they wont admit it. They have no one to blame, they can very well start modifying the protocol, the software, whatelse if they want. They didn't? Well that was their choice, but now they should face the conseguences of their choices and not blaming the protocol. Indeed, it was the Chinese who were widely seen as the reason for the rising price. Must be pretty painful to be sitting on a 40% loss within 3 months.
