Title: Does LTC have a Future?
Post by: seemlesswift on July 11, 2018, 08:17:02 AM
Does LTC investment right now make sense? Is it a good sub for ETH or BTC?
wanna invest $100 and feeling i better buy LTC since it will give me more than just 1 unit than buying a fraction of ETH or BTC.

It's a little bit make sense in my opinion, in fact the development of litecoin depends on the bitcoin. Remember Charlie has sold all of his stash to the market. Without bitcoin and litecoin was nothing and it's just an experimental platform. But that depends on your final opinion regarding it.

LTC  now has good potential but we have to think ahead of time about the potential of ltc in the future despite the many ltc predictions that say if ltc will continue to be a good coin in the future. but there is no harm if buying eth or btc to serve as an option,

Litecoin currently holds the sixth position among the cryptos and is considered as the silver to bitcoin's gold. Yes, the coin has a great future as with its blockchain of 2.5 minutes, the coin allows one to make transactions throughout the world which are four times faster than the pioneer. The coin has one of the best development teams behind it and with adoption by Coinbase, the coin has seen an increase its market value and has the potential to cross the $400 mark in the coming months.

The future looked very bleak for LTC when Lee dumped all his coins on us and litepay was cancelled. But it seems that litepay will go ahead and they have formed partnership with a bank.

I still believe in Litecoin. It's developer Charlie Lee knows his onions and I think it's worth a purchase. You can hodl for a duration you will have to decide on, while ensuring you join its communities and follow up with happenings.

It seems that litecoin implements new trends faster than bitcoin. Just to mention segwit as one major update occurred prior to the adoption from bitcoin. If you want to speculate, get your unity.

Litecoin is a very good coin to buy and it has a very good future because it has a very good developer and it also have a very good community. Investing in light coin is very good at this time because you will buy and sell when the price is high.

LTC is a potential coin and is of great interest to the community. But in the future we will not know if LTC will increase or decrease, so you should look into LTC before making an investment decision.

I think yes. Because LTC is faster than Bitcoin by POW algorithm. It is possible that the LTC coin will increase in price in the future. I see this coin grows very stable and is not being manipulated by the whale

They've (Litecoin foundation) just acquired 10% stake in a German WEG Bank, to help them to adopt fiat to crypto transactions. In my opinion huge news for them but because bear market price barely moved.

Should've bought yesterday when the price went down. LTC is probably one of the few alts that I would recommend to hold for the long-term. It's among the best altcoins in the market: potential to grow a lot more in the future (both in popularity and value), a lot of merchants accept it since it's one of the most used alts in the market, cheap, fast...Go for it.

although developer dumped all LTC, but LTC is still one good coin. Better than bunch of crapcoins. Suggest you to buy at price $85, three months ago LTC reached $170, while BTC was 10,000.

The market is rather on the rise not for Litecoin and the predictions backed by analytical and comparative analysis sometime cam lead you in the right direction but citing a value is difficult. It is what only the market force determines. Litecoin will never fall that low.  ;D

Everything has a future, but what the future holds for it is impossible to predict, accurately at least.
Hey man also, in case you're exploring your options out there... not sure if you’re into ICOs, just gonna give you some really cool projects to maybe look into. All of these have very practical and much-needed use cases, which is so important in this space. I’m personally very intrigued by these projects and you might be too. The ICOs are TIP Blockchain, Daostack IO, GrapheneTech, Muirfield IP, and Deedcoin.

TIP Blockchain aims to create the most user-friendly and easy to use platform in the cryptocurrency economy, that connects businesses to end users, and removes the technical barriers that users face today when using cryptocurrency.

Daostack IO powers decentralized companies, funds and markets to make fast and innovative decisions at scale. Basically an operating system for collective intelligence.

GrapheneTech is the first cryptocurrency based on a revolutionary material; Graphene.

Muirfield IP is an opportunistic private equity real estate investment firm leading the effort to reinvent and improve private equity investing through the use of blockchain technology.

Deedcoin is a cryptocurrency that will simplify real estate. Deedcoin customers use DEED to decide what to pay in commission costs when purchasing or selling a home, lowering the traditional 6% fee to 1%.

I think LTC is a worthy coin to be invested, at that time LTC was once a trending in altcoin market and LTC prices increased significantly, and I believe LTC will rise again because it has good potential, and of course will provide many advantages for the future.

Yes, investing in Litecoin is a good option, I guess. Litecoin ranks at the 6th place among all the cryptocurrencies and is often called silver to Bitcoin’s gold. So it’s definitely a worth considering to invest some funds in. It has shown good growth rate and surely has a great potential. With the adoption of Litecoin by Coinbase, the market value has increased. So yes it has a great future ahead.

buying ltc is not a problem as ltc coins are predicted to keep going into good positions. I feel this is a good choice than buying eth or bitcoin, it can be a new experience rather than bored with old coins like btc or eth.

If you didn't buy when it was around $30 then you have missed the boat already. Don't waste time on something that offers nothing more than what bitcoin / bitcoincash already does. Go for a more useful investment like NEO or ethereum

good position for what? the only reason litecion still exist in this day because it has used by the bitcoin community to tested the BIP in the litecoin blokchain. If all of the problem in the bitcoin will be fixed and then we don't need litecoin anymore. Sell your litecoin if you have bought litecoin.

Seeing how back in 2017 Charlie sold his stash, it's hard to see it any other way. However, even he is still pro-LTC. But even without the founder, the project is still making little impacts in the market positively. But the premise of the former doesn't really inspire confidence. But with crypto, you never know when that lucky break is going to happen. So if it's spare $100 bucks, sure, why not. Just don't expect too much, this way when it does happen it's a little more than a relief.

Litecoin is one of the most promising coins in the market. It is a good investment but a substitute for Bitcoin or Ethereum in that matter. Take note that these currencies can gror far beyond their expectaion. Litecoin currently sits at almost 85 US dollar and forecast shows it might reach the 150 dollar mark by the end of the year.

Litecoin will stabilize at $250 for future mainstream adaptation. My understanding is too much volatility will not encourage ppl to use it for a while

Everyone will be screaming HODL HODL🚀🚀🚀

I think that’s why top cryptos which already mature started stabilizing and this would prove that crypto is going mainstream.

btc = went from pennies, to dollars, to hundreds, to thousands.

eth = went from pennies, to dollars, to hundreds, to thousands.

LTC = Where do you think its going next.... [clue, follow the first two above]

Also just as a side note, current price of litecoin as I write this post == $84.79

you do the math!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I agree with you that LTC has a very fast and cheap transaction processing etch. Even their development team does not hold too much LTC, which will avoid price inflation. Personally, I believe that LTC is the best investment at the moment as I am sure in the next few months LTC can reach $ 1000 and many investment funds will invest in this altcoins more.

Looks like investing into LTC is a good choice we know for ourselves the excellent track record of lithecoin we see last year LTC traded for $ 3.52 and had touched the highest price of $ 98.28 in less than a year that LTC is indeed feasible to be invested in the medium and long term.

At first do you believe in future of cryptocurrency? If the answer is yes so LTC is not a cryptocurrency? You should know that LTC has high rank on crypto market because it's a good cryptocurrency but I think with $100 you should fine another lower price cryptocurrency to invest in cause $100 is too little to invest in LTC at the moment :)

I had a quite good investment in LTC but I sold all my investment of LTC just because of the Charlie Lee. He just posts on twitter and do nothing. First he sold his all stakes at all time high, secondly they invested a lot in the company claiming to release visa/master card like service for crypto and especially for LTC. But when the company announces there closure, he just pointed out that it wasn't LTC mistake. I don't trust this guy anymore and hence will not invest in LTC anymore. I would rather suggest you to look for NEO or POLY or PRIV tokens, all of them have huge potential to grow.

Actually when i was new here and starting to learn about the cryptocurrency the first coin i have loved and invested is Litecoin before bitcoin i use to trust this one since i see a good potential but not until this few months ago when i see nothing from the team of litecoin but failure so what i did is sell all of them even in loss and buy other coins,

Asking me?no theres no future for this use to be a top 3 coins, for long many users and investors expect good movement from this but what they got is failure because theres no feeds about the devs and seems like a dying coin,so investors withdraw their capital and converted to another good coin

But i might be wrong so better do you own research so theres nothing to be blame in future but only yourself
