Title: Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, between legal and illegal in the world?
Post by: stewert on July 11, 2018, 09:27:09 AM
The development of cryptocurrency is better from time to time. In many countries, many have inaugurated crypto currency as a legitimate paying tool. Although there are also countries that openly banned cryptocurrency. This becomes very interesting to be listened to by us. Then, personally, I want to know what you think of all that? Will at any time cryptocurrency be a legal and legal world currency in all countries? Or perhaps during that time, cryptocurrency is strictly prohibited in all countries of the world?

Crypto currencies have been banned by some countries and many countries have regulations to use them and many don't have any laws for using them which doesn't means that is illegal in that country. It depends on each countries and the people who is just ruling the countries maybe the ban can be uplifted in the upcoming years like south Korea did.

I think that the crypto currency will not be banned, since the state can not fight it. Most likely, some laws on crypto currency will be adopted, after which it will be legalized in all countries of the world.

In many countries people are treating crypto as illegal as government can't have direct control over it. But, it didn't stop with negativity. Now, there are more than 18 countries which have legalized crypto currency to do transaction and exchange. The number will increase more in future.

At the begininig Bitcoin had prety bad reputation. It was mostly used on dark markets and therefore it was considered illegal. But with time this has slightly changed.
But I would say that every new thing should go through some negative phase because people are afraid of new things and don't have trust.
Still with time Bitcoin become more trust and it's geting more and more accepted because both individuals and institutions are becoming aware of the benefits and that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are the future.
As a conclusion I strongly beleive that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will become regulated and included in legal activities in economy and society in general, not baned.

The coin, in general is not something which is associated with anything illegal. The main reason behind the government's fear is that, the entire transactions are anonymous. It makes the process hard to track the people if anything illegal happens due to the exchange of this coins done by the people.

The crypto currency to the market is still entrenched in the minds of many people-as a way of buying illegal things and money laundering. As soon as the crypto currency ceases to associate with it, the world will start accepting it.

As the world shifts towards globalization and e-Commerce heavily, there will come a time that cryptocurrencies, mainly bitcoin, would be legalized and be made some special regulations which ensure that it will not be used into money laundering or any other illegal activities but rather on legal stuff such as a substitute to fiat if it isn't available. Many governments are already considering creating their own crypto which I think is a hypocritical move if they still decide to ban bitcoin in the process. Needless to say, the legality of bitcoin in the coming years would be more defined than ever, knowing that the government is also inclining towards a crypto-run future.

In my opinion, many large players have earned money on the creation of the crypto currency and are now earning, including those that are in power. Therefore, they will specifically keep the crypt outside the law, to merge it into offshore.

The countries that banned crypto's, they only know that it's a currency that can be used for something illegal and they don't know that it can also be used for something better like transacting with normal transactions.
Each country has their own unique stand about crypto's and not all of them will ban it forever. As you can see, some already declared it as a legal currency and adopted it to their society which makes them a crypto-friendly country.

Hopefully, this might happen soon but for me, it’s kinda impossible for all countries to legalize it with the fact that it can be used by terrorists and such for illegal activities. In life, there will be people who will oppose in your decisions or a specific stuffs no matter how advantageous these are, there will always be a negative side.

- As long as there will be a more structured and proper regulation of cryptocurrency to be presented, by then we can assume that more countries will adopt and make use of Bitcoin as a currency.

Or perhaps during that time, cryptocurrency is strictly prohibited in all countries of the world?
- I hope that this time will not come or if is then not sooner. Cryptocurrency is still undergoing lots of criticism but we can say that there are more improvements and developments implied to it.

There are still many countries that are not ready to legalize it because the risks involved have illegal effects (illegal transactions), all countries want to admit it because it is a very profitable future between fellow users and the country, so every country there is a development technology to prevent such abuse, and there are currently some countries trying to legalize Bitcoin, and there will be other steps from different countries for future technology development.

Other countries banning crypto because of possible money laundering and purchasing of illegal drugs online. The government is so scared of the potential of the crypto that can be used in a bad way like funding terrorists without any trace. Maybe few years from now, those countries who banned crypto will realized that the blockchain technology has still so much to offer. We will just wait and see what the future may bring when it comes to the development and adoption of crypto worldwide.

Cryptocurrencies have to face a lot more than this. But it's good as Bitcoin and all the others altcoin and much more beneficial and safer to use than those physical currencies which are basically simple paper and those are treated as gold, banking sectors and government use that to enslave us and keep under the control and whenever they want they can print that money and decrease the value and we have to face those difficulties.

I think bitcoin and cryptocurrency will not be banned in the future.because of its wide popularity and circulation in different countries of the world. if this currency had a detrimental effect on the economy, it would have been closed long ago.the countries which have not yet validated the benefits of the cryptocurrency will be valid in phases.expanding business promotion will increase the crypto currency much as it spreads and validity can be found.

The need for cryptos services will force governments to accept and legalize their use.
It may need some time before seeing this happening.

At this moment the system is living in a world where some part are legal and others are illegal. There are already countries that accepts the use of the system but some other countries hasn't learned to accept it yet. The system is operating at different way in the same world and and I hope time will come that it willis be legal all over the world.

I know that many people consider that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can be used for illegal activities like drugs and weapon dealing, terrorism activities, money laundering, etc. but I guess that depends on a person. A criminal who has that negative mentality is bound to do such illegal acts either with or without crypto currencies. If cryptocurrencies had not been there, that person will find some another way of doing that. So it depends on person.

there has been a lot of concerns about bitcoin in all the countries without exception, some people said it should be banned but that doesn't mean they tried banning bitcoin. it just means some people had the idea which was rejected by the lawmaker for many different reasons.

The cryptos have become a new issue of concern for major countries these days as popularity, scams, investments, prices all are increseing at an alarming rate for which measures need to be taken. Many countries have make regulations regarding its usage like japan and some have put a ban on its trading declaring it as illegal. Some do not have put a ban neither have made regulations for its use meaning you can work there at your own risk.So the position of cryptos is floating in between and situation is not cleared but in future they will be accepted by each one.

Sure, in the spirit of optimism, we can only hope the current situation that Bitcoin faces is a temporary one, that may be apart of its growing pangs. With any innovation, the consequences must be weighed and measured scientifically, with those outcomes affecting the foundation of the scene itself. Regulators are passing judgement and the market is lookin a bit shaken up.
Sometimes we have to destroy just to rebuild again. If Bitcoin isn't dead after all the regulation, one would like to thank it may only grow stronger, however, only time will tell.

Most governments recognize the potential of bitcoin as a highly profitable financial technology. However, since there is no official administrator, the government is worried about bitcoin being misused for crimes. So the government provides restrictions, most prohibit the use of bitcoin as a payment system in the country. In addition, most governments also warn that bitcoin is a high-risk investment. Well, as a good society we have to obey the rules of government then we must understand and learn the status of bitcoin law in our country well.

We all know that all the crypto currencies available in the market are decentralised one as there is no such authentic regulating body who can keep eye over all the transactions and activities taking place with crypto currencies so the topic of your discussion is very much correct that crypto is between being legal and illegal, as with time countries accepting the fate and potential of bitcoin, they are legalising it and those who are afraid of illegal use of bitcoin has banned crypto currencies from their nation.

so in some instances it is considered and belonged to neutral cases. There are also several countries that arr still not accepting bitcoin and only few are legalizing the usage of crypto in their economy. Here in our country too, it doesn't give much impact about crypto but plenty are longing that it will be legalized and fully accepted soon.

I am believe most country in the world will regulate cryptocurrency in their country. Cryptocurrency is new bussiness model in digital world right now and government must be following technology advance. Government will regulate cryptocurrency because when crypto growing bigger, government have benefits with more taxes for their budget

I think that the crypto currency will not be banned, since the state can not fight it. Most likely, some laws on crypto currency will be adopted, after which it will be legalized in all countries of the world.
sadly most states can fight it. if the government decides to ban crypto and bitcoin there not much you can do about it. citizens can be vocal and express why they and need crypto, that way the government can look into adopting new laws

Honestly I do not understand how it still lives, because this currency is not supported by anything (like the same ruble for example). From time to time probably will all resolve, and then when you go in a large washing off funds will begin to ban.

Everyone know bitcoin is decentralized currency many countries have been banned because they think bitcoin is harmful for their economy and can be use for illegal activities and many is planing to regulate because they know the importance. but its ban or not banned depend on particular countries ruling peoples and their economy experts but bitcoin is a digital currency than they need to ban first internet.

The government of countries that ban Bitcoin simply do not understand how to use it, and why it is used. I think that in the future all countries will accept Bitcoin, and it will become a world currency.

One thing is clear - the crypto currency will develop and enter into a person's life under difficult conditions. To all that this is a completely new and previously unprecedented form of digital money, besides, it is not managed by anyone and it can not be fully controlled, and also because of its insecurity, and therefore has high volatility, it causes many problems for the states. Therefore, it is still difficult to predict how quickly the process of legalization will progress.

It is possible that the third world and CIS countries will ban or try to ban bitcoin or cryptocurrency, but progressive States are unlikely to take such a step.

It because people can't control cryptocurrency, so many crime used cryptocurrency as a transaction so they can hide their crime.
This is why in many countries bitcoin is banned but some countries are smart enough to see the bitcoin future are legalize bitcoin

Well I think it will be in between this legality and illegality for pretty long time. Because it is not possible to make all understand the worth of bitcoin and crypto to take over the ban. This will happen slowly. Just a matter of time that this will be accepted as a legal one.
As its becoming more and more mainstream, Law enforcement agencies, tax authorities and legal regulator's all over the world are trying to wrap their heads around the concept of cryptocurrency and where exactly does it fit in existing regulations and legal frameworks. The legality of bitcoin depends on who you are, Where you are in the world and what you are doing with it. In many jurisdictions, the authorities are still struggling to understand bitcoin, Many concerned have been raised over its decentralized nature. It seems only natural for governing authorities to be worried about a financial community that can't be fully controlled.

Some countries have banned crypto currency because they want to protect the interest of the financial institution regulations because if not used wisely it can be use wrong deeds. Also some countries support crypto currency because this is a new era the new innovation created for the world where we need to absorb its technology to support and aid our financial issues.

We do have different point of views on bitcoin, some used it on good things, and some used it on bad things. Its just depends on what will you do, but the outcome depends on what will you do. Just like countries governments, as what we can see, other countries are accepting bitcoin and we see that because of bitcoin, the countries legalizing bitcoin are becoming more richer and advanced.

Currently, there are not many countries that legalize bitcoin, but one day maybe bitcoin will be legalized by the government, we may need to introduce more ways of using bitcoin and how bitcoin work to the government so that the government legalize bitcoin. Maybe it is not easy but it would not hurt us to try it.

Truly, some countries don’t support bitcoin because they have their own point about it Obviously we can’t deny bitcoin or cryptocurrency can bring a little bit more complication. We all know that bitcoin characterizes its anonymity, so it’s quite hard to control the illegal transaction or some illegal activity related to bitcoin. Besides, if they accept bitcoin, perhaps their citizens will depend much on this virtual currency and forgetting his main job. However, with the profits that bitcoin can bring to our life , i believe  bitcoin will be soon encouraged by many countries around the world.

No, because the cryptocurrency is just special in that its prohibition is impossible in principle. After all, it can not be removed, and to stop the issue will need to deprive all access to the Internet. The only option to limit their use is to ban them at the state level, but in reality it will not be so easy to implement.

We can not force a country to accept or legalize bitcoin or other cryptocurrency, because they have different regulation and rrule regarding to crypto. They just not realize the benefit of crypto in general. Or mayber they're still not ready with the new technology that crypto's bring.

No crypto currency is illegal in the world, there is a huge difference between the term decentralisation and being illegal, bitcoin is decentralised crypto currency not illegal, we all know that bitcoin has been through many ups and downs and there is a huge controversy regarding the legalisation of bitcoin in every nation and there are few countries who has legalised bitcoin and now they are very happy with their decision even and I am sure that bitcoin will definitely be get centralised all over the world

However, there are also countries that absolutely do not deal with the issue of regulating crypto-currencies at all.

I think bitcoin cannot be fully accepted by all countries, many governments consider bitcoin as a threat as their national currency, this is undeniable because with the dominance of bitcoin in a country will rival the value of the prevailing currency. But it would be unfortunate if bitcoin is not acceptable.

Recognition bitcoin is a matter of time. The main problem is the country's inability to regulate bitcoin, and therefore have its share of transactions. In addition, it will become impossible to combat money laundering and other fraud in the sphere of finance. But I do not think that the government has the right to forbid me to have bitcoin as a citizen with a clear conscience.

Crypto currency for a long time will be in a state of non-regulation by the state. It can not be said that if in some country the crypto currency is not regulated, then it is in a state between legal and illegal. The legal status of any thing does not tolerate uncertainty and it is still spelled out in the civil codes of states since the Roman law - a collection of legislative acts of the first centuries of our era. Still from there goes the principle of freedom of entrepreneurship, which states that in the conduct of business all that is not prohibited by a special law is permitted. This means that if bitcoin and other crypto-currency is not regulated by the laws of the state, that is, there are no rules that do not bother them, then they are legitimate for circulation.

I don't think you are completely right but partially. There are only few selected countries in the world that has accepted bitcoin to be a legal tender/currency. Again there are also only very few selected countires that have directly banned bitcoin and its any form of usage. Those are just some underdeveloped countries that have no clue about the technology. Rest of the world has no clear ruling on bitcoin. Tough some of them does not accept bitcoin as a legal currency this does not mean that they banned the usage of it.

Title: Re: Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, between legal and illegal in the world?

The issue of banning cryptocurrencies is not yet quite acute. After all, if you think about it, then attention was paid to the crypto currency because of the rapid growth of Bitcoin in 2017. However, Vietnam has already banned cryptocurrency, China also adopts legislation to ban cryptocurrencies, and Russia has already adopted such a law. This law is certainly not about banning cryptocurrencies, but a simple man in the street will not want to do it, as it was before. Anyone could mine cryptocurrency and get a reward for it, now it will not work. Speaking about the prohibition of cryptocurrencies is great one sentence: you can not defeat the enemy? To lead it. So, if cryptocurrencies continue active growth, many countries will already think about either a complete ban or the control of the cryptocurrency as a means of payment.
