Title: Updating to new version of Multibit correct procedure Post by: Arksun on February 14, 2014, 01:01:12 AM So I just realised I haven't actually updated my Multibit client on my PC in a while, whats the correct way to do this, can I just over-write the existing installation with the new installer, or should I uninstall the old one first?
Also will installing new version kill my existing wallet in it and would have to be re-instated via backup keys? Probably best I wait till this whole TX-ID thing is sorted before updating I guess... Then, if you are happy with the upgrade, you can install the old version using the uninstaller. |
