Title: Buying Bitcoins In Australia
Post by: PR06AM3R on February 14, 2014, 02:46:12 AM
Im wanting to buy bitcoins while the price is relatively low and convert most of them into litecoins. The conversion to LTC doesnt seem so difficult however the buying of the bitcoins seems problematic for me since I'm in Australia. I've purchased a few via Virwox however they have trade limits and the premium bumped the current $550 to $700 after the conversion to SLL and fees occured. Whats the best way to get Bitcoins (only looking for 1-2). Preferably via Visa or Paypal due to banks being closed over the weekend. Willing to throw some bitcoins out to whoever can help me get them.

Edit: Willing to buy if anyones willing to sell to me. Visa/Paypal or can do Skrill once I've set it up. Willing to do whatever is needed since I understand I am new and that chargebacks can occur. If not any advice as to how to get these while the price is low would be much appreciated.

For anyone interested Coinjar.com allows people from Aus to buy via EFT after being verified. Would recommend however prices are slightly high it seems possibly due to using the higher exchange rates. Still willing to buy from someone if they're interested in whatever manner they feel safe (ie, paypal gift, I'll go first small amounts at a time).
