We decided to launch an ICO to sell a "tokenized Mining Contract" which we called BMF to allow any holder all over the world to benefit from our Mining facilities. I have been a fan of mining for many months but obviously low value of btc and eth has made it tough for miners to generate decent profits but this can change as the value of these coins can start to move big any time, bitminer factory to me looks real, i have studied details from their website etc, the only thing that has put me in thought is the yearly dividend, while most other mining projects pay daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or quarterly but yearly payment is unheard of, i think it should be revised to quarterly.

We are experiencing something very strange in BTC mining. Mining difficulty should be going down together with price and there is something opposite happening right now. Why would it increase the cost of mining? They wouldn't do it if that was the case. In the long run using green energy should pay itself off over 5-10 years and from then onwards you won't be paying for electricity.
Keep in mind even if you don't use green energy you would use the same amount within 10 years or so. Definitly long term.

This repository holds the smart contracts that constitute the on-chain part of Bitminer Factory ICO. The 'BMF' token, an ERC-20 token on Ethereum acts as a mining contract between token holders and Bitminer Factory.

Crowdsale: a limited time period contract that accepts purchase requests for 'BMF' tokens and handles those requests, according to the supply available.
BitminerFactoryToken: an ERC20 contract that mints 'BMF' tokens during the sale period and can destroy tokens in the later phase, during Bitminer Factory BuyBack operations.
Whitelist: basically a mapping of addresses to a whitelist flag. It stores the addresses of buyers that have previously registered themselves through the Bitminer Factory Portal and are allowed to participate in the Crowdsale phase.
BurnableToken: a token that can be irreversibly burned (destroyed). Based on OpenZeppelin-Solidity with some changes in order to set a destroyer that could differ from owner.
MintableToken: the 'BMF' token inherits from MintableToken and BurnableToken with some changes in order to add a batches of beneficiaries. Minters could only be the crowdsale (to be settled) and the deployer of the contract(owner).

The above chart means that every 88 BMF purchased by Token Holders,
10 BMF will be issued to Bitminer Factory Management and 2 BMF will
support our Bounty Program and marketing effort.
All BMF tokens will be issued at the End of the ICO, on 30/9/18, to Token

What are you talking about? Even if they will reach only soft-cap - ICO will be closed anyway on 30/9/18. If Soft-Cap won't be reached, all Mining Contracts will be cancelled and payments returned to Token Holders. This info was stated in White Paper, page 15.

I think he's talking about the buyback plan. At the end of each quarter, starting from 31st December 2018, the company will start proposing to buy back tokens at 1.1$ per BMF and this price will increase by 0.1$ each subsequent quarter. So 10% quarterly increases.

Bitminefactory is a job. They call a few pictures a supposed mining centre proof. Oh and they ask bounty participants for KYC.
I was first upset about this then I saw I was being paid only $5 lol KYC for $5
You also waited until afterward to ask for KYC instead of before, that is not very transparent.

Very strange company. My documents for passing KYC were rejected with the wording: "Document has signs of tampering."  ;D
In other campaigns, my documents were accepted without any problems.

It is because they are running a scam. They have no business asking for KYC. They not a government institute nor a bank. People need to actually learn the law. Now they have all your info. Who are they? Has their team passed KYC? If anyone should be passing KYC it should be the people who run the ICO. We need to know who they are first. If they don't do KYC they hide.

In order to be compliant with the anti-money laundering laws, you have to complete KYC (know your client) procedure.

How exactly does one launder money doing a bounty? You work and earn tokens so how do you launder that way? Do you guys even know what money laundry is? There is no law in any country that says you need our personal info to pay us for work since we not giving you money.

Since token distribution is, actually, a transaction and since Italy is inside the EU borders, we have to apply the KYC procedure.

Documents must be clear and visible and NOT scanned or copied. Very important is to upload NOT damaged documents.

KYC is actually run by a third party, named veriff.me (https://veriff.me/), where someone is actually before the computer, checking documents.
We cannot run ourselves KYC, that's why we are collaborating with veriff.me.
Concerning the European laws, unfortunately it is not something we can decide. You are free not to believe it, but the law is the law and we must respect it.
