Title: Malleability
Post by: Nite69 on February 14, 2014, 07:15:10 AM
Is this a stupid suggestion: MtGox could inlcude a signed comment with their own transaction id in every outgoing transaction. Wouldn't this prevent fraud?

The bitcoin protocol does not support comments in transactions.

I believe those are internal to the blockchain.info website -- not on the blockchain itself.
Blockexplorer.com shows the blockchain w/out the fluff http://blockexplorer.com/address/1F1tAaz5x1HUXrCNLbtMDqcw6o5GNn4xqX
It also has the raw view of a transaction, here one that has a public note shown in blockchain.info

Well, of course. Should have made some research first...
