Anyone can help me there ? I received an e-mail this afternoon claiming a man changed my e-mail adress on my bitcointalk profil...then a second mail claming it changed the password too... I was able to lock my account. 1) How can i recover my account ? 2) How is hack is gone ? Probably a hack ! Security fail on the forum ? I'm software developper and no malwayres or other on my pc....no phishing web pages or other.... If anyone can help me. Title: Re: Secutiry issus there ? If you can provide this information then your account could be unlocked. However, it might take a little while due to the amount of requests that the staff are having currently. I never set pgp key on my profil, so cannot sign a message. Anyway, it's not a problem to use a new account on the forum....Btw i'm afraid of a security issue. How my cannot was hacked ? Have you downloaded anything which might of been able to compromise your account? Have any of your other accounts been compromised? Possibility of compromising your login details through a phishing website. I see the account has posted on a few altcoin threads, and downloading clients for these have been known to compromise passwords for both the forum, and Bitcoin.
