My experience with people like this, while I haven't been directly mocked before, they do give off that kind of attitude don't they? Even if they don't mean anything by it :P for me it usually takes them between 1 - 3 months before they break up and then I'm usually the shoulder they cry on depending on how well I get along with them >_<

Don't be ashamed/sad of being single, especially with the kind of drama bullshit that can happen if you aren't.

I've got someone, but we don't celebrate V Day too much. We'll be getting a bottle of wine, make dinner and watch House of Card (Season 2). No need to be extravagant with your love one day a year if you're not for the 364 other days.

Valentines day is also a commercialized day, for corporations to sell more crap thats pretty much it.

As suggested I buyed some gifts (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=392465.0) for a girl but she seems to not appreciate them at all..

Though it is very commercialized, my lady never wants anything... And she doesn't say that just to get something, either.

We just shared some wine, chocolates and House of Cards season 2 together and she was all smiles. Mission accomplished!
