Opera browser has launched its cryptocurrency wallet. How do you think this will affect the development of cryptocurrencies?

This goes to show you how cryptocurrency is going mainstream. Adoption is becoming an everyday thing and people are becoming more aware. This is good news for the crypto sphere when notable businesses are aligning with cryptocurrency

In my opinion that the opera browser is not so popular as google chrome. It gives a little impact to the cryptocurrency. In fact, the wallet still not yet tested by the developer. It will become another place to store our coin and it will not give any impact to the adoption of the cryptocurrency in the future.

This is indeed a good news for us. when something like this happen bitcoin more likely will gain a new investors and on some crypto currencies too. but next time when you post something like this make sure that you post the reference too. so people will read more about it.

Opera browser is my main browser for 10 years. Opera its lead all new products, new extension, new features among all browser. Speed dial website, private tab or vpn tab all come 1st on Opera. Im not surprise they are make cryptocurrencies wallet 1st. I think it will turn to big competitor for metamask because of number of opera users.

Everything still under development and what is good is they tried to adopt the technology. Opera browser is already a well-known app that everybody already knows it. So probably, it gives some good impact about the blockchain technology.

Many people that  makes use of Crypto currency don't make use of opera browser,  we need sucure , advanced and popular browser to do it like chrome puffin browser etc.

Very interesting news, because I have been using this browser for a long time. But I think it does not affect the development of the crypto currency.

Well this is not a big news and it won't affect the market in any way but it is still a step towards the inevitable future of having cryptocurrency taking over the whole online payment system, and this only goes to show how much crypto is a technology that will lead the world toward a new era, and also how much progresss it has made and how popular it is getting even though it is still a fairly new thing, and i am sure that in no time we will see it on top.

It is very good, the team Opera is developing and improving its browser. But most importantly, this wallet is safe for users. I think this should have a positive impact on the crypto market.

Do you have their link, or a detailed description. I don't know what reason they are issuing cryptocurrencies, how to proceed, how to consume them, or just to participate in this market in the future. These need to be studied well.

What is the name of their cryptocurrency wallet? I didn't see any changes or news about it on my opera browser.

Wow, how desperate this browser is if it tries to encourage people to introducing a built-in wallet. No kidding, though, I think it's a great idea if it turns out to be safe to keep eth and tokens in such a wallet. Opera is one of the top-5 web-browsers, so I suppose a lot of people will be introduces to cryptocurrencies through this built-in wallet. Unfortunately, I couldn't find information about the number of users, but of all the people who use web-browsers Opera users are about 2.5%. As the estimated number of Internet users is 3.2 billion, around 80 million people use opera and will probably hear about cryptocurrencies. I suppose only a positive effect can result from this.

This adds confidence to people who are still doubting crypto's that a well known browser starts to adopt, what if google's next?

Good news. Opera is a quite secure browser. It allows to work on vpn, simple in use. The end user will find in browser everything he need.

I do not think it will change much, actually there are enough wallets and we can safely store them in our tokens.I do not know what benefits it will bring.

It seems to me that this can be a double-edged sword, on the one hand it's true that it can attract new people to crypto world but, on the other hand, a browser wallet is not exactly a safe wallet, if you attract people to cryptos but then these people lose their funds because of some vulnerability or a hack you will get the opposite effect to that which you expected to get.

Not surprised at this. As time goes on we should expect more internet giants to get into crypto. They have tried to fight it but now they have seen that they are fighting a lost war now they are all getting into it. Crytpos is the future, the companies that understand this are getting into it now, the ones that don't will be the ones that get left behind.

I think it is good for the crypto space
It encourages even Facebook to work faster and launch their owncrypto currency as well
But let’s be hopeful it causes a positive trend on the market trends and the prices improves

Opera team makes a good move to adopt into the crypto space since it is a internet money. the question is that how secure are they gonna be ?
but i think they can figure it out and it can be a huge step to compete with the web browser industry they need to advance more before google chrome makes a move

I don't really care about it cause I don't use Opera browser :). Maybe it'll have good effect to this crypto market or not, I don't care. There are so many social network company and browser are going to join crypto world and taking a look at blockchain technology but as I can see there is no effect from them, market is still stable and downtrend is still happening. Beside I think number of Opera user is not to large so it'll not affect to much to crypto world :)

Agree with your comments. Currently, the number of users Opera browser is very few. I do not think that the Opera browser launching electronic wallet doesn't affect the price of the Crypto market. We need more good news than this news

Interesting news. Maybe Opera browser isn't most popular, but it's clearly visible how hard they are working to improve their browser. Integrated VPN, Ad block, Opera turbo which helps to save internet MB and load websites faster on slow connections. And now they catched new cryptocurrency trend. Well, I hope that their crypto wallet will be a top notch product. It's most important that they would give full control of funds for their users. If no, I don't think it will be succesful product.
Anyway, for me Opera is better browser than Chrome, because it eats less resources, but it's not better than Firefox.

as an opera user i am very happy with this news. I think this will give a good impact to the world of crypto because many are using this browser. but I personally have not used the opera wallet and I just know here so I have not been able to give an assessment of good or not his wallet service from dev opera browser

Yes, yesterday I just saw this news yesterday. This is a good thing. I hope that the game will win the future market as soon as possible. Because the opponent of the opera browser is very powerful, it must work hard.

im also a die hard opera user ever since i got my first nokia phone back on late 2000's  and i also find it great to see that opera has started to adopt crypos on their own platform .

i also agree that this event can somehow create a good impact to the crypto economy  due to the popuarity of opera company . i hope that more people will now be aware about the existence of cryptos and hoppefully they will also invest and support cryptos , so that the value of cryptos can now recover .
