As you know My Myetherwallet hacked and all of my assets are gone. I posted it yesterday. But Still, I have some money in another myetherwallet . I Checked that wallet and I was very happy because in that account I had more than 1100 USD! I was thinking that hacker may forget this account as he hackled my all account but this MEW still safe. Then I log out from my email and then I created a totally a new ETH Address and then I moved 1100 USD in that new MEW. I was tension free because still, I have some money, though I lost more than 4K USD.

But after night, I can't sleep in morning too. Then I woke up and wanted to listen to some music and watch movies. I on my Laptop and opened google chrome browser and was listening to songs from youtube. Everything is fine here. But, after a little, I wanted to check my 1100 USD as I have still fear of hacks! Then I opened ethplorer and I shocked again! My every coin moved, every coin! I can't think of anything! How can hacker hacked my wallet this time where I created totally a new Address.

What's happening to me, What should I do! I am feeling like I am in a horror situation.

The first thing that comes into my mind is that your laptop has some malware on it, giving to somebody else some of your data - maybe what you type or the content of your screen.
Another idea would be that the clipboard is intercepted and you've sent to hacker's address believing you are sending to your own address - this can easily be checked.

Both cases we talk about a compromised computer that has to be cleaned.

I think your computer may have been hacked.
Then your pasting board may have been copied, which is the reason why all your tokens were stolen.

For some reasons,  either your computer is hacked or it could be from your browser. Either way somebody is really manipulating your account.  I have always suggested to people never to use myetherwallet else if they are sure their computer is safe. I use hard wallets which is difficult to hack else I gave it out. Sorry about your loss

You've been hacked and your computer still being monitored.  You should clean it up (maybe re-installing) including any external drive you've been use to that computer.  If you remember, maybe you can share what site you visit before it happen.

Maybe from the laptop there is a virus so that whatever is done will be recorded by the giver of the virus so that the thief is free to take when he wants so he is free to enter the system you should check your laptop and then clean it, in my opinion hope you can be more eager to find bitcoin so your bitcoin lost can be replaced.

This is the most possible reasons I can also think of. If you have more than 5k USD before, you should have invested on the security of your coins. You should have bought some hard wallets like ledger or trezor. Security should be the priority of every crypto investors. Maybe your wallet have been hacked. Start moving on and I hope that you've learn something from this experience.

It doesn't matter if you created a totally new address. If you computer is compromised (i.e. virus of some kind), the attacker could have access to your new private keys as well. So stop creating new wallets and forget about doing any transactions on your current computer. If you still have your remaining private keys on paper or somewhere safe don't use them before you clean up your computer, and possibly use them only in a new safe computer environment.

These things are very sad. Somebody took over your whole computer. Your all information is shared instantly with the other party. You should never use that computer again  >:(

Another possibility is that the MEW website he's using is fake or a phishing site. People should really learn to invest a bit of money and extra time on security. Even a simple method of generating your own wallet offline goes a long way.

What I will say is SORRY for your loss, I can't imagine how you feel, it's painful to lose hard earned money this way. Are you using any chrome extensions as VPN, mostly hackers can use those tools to do their exploits. If not, then I think there is a payload(virus) on your pc which is helping this wicked man do his executions on you. Hmm, SORRY.

Maybe your etherwallet had been accessed by other people or specifically scammers. There are only one way to access access your MyEtherWallet (MEW) and that is your private key. There are possibilities that you signed up your private key into airdrop or bounty forms instead of signing in your address and maybe you signed in the pished crypto exchanges site/s. This is just an opinion.

there are only two possibilities here:
1. you are not visiting MyEtherWallet website but instead a fake version of it and you keep making the same mistake and keep feeding the person owning that website when he creates a fake wallet that he controls.
2. you have a malware on your computer that is monitoring what you are doing on your PC and when you visit MEW and create a new private key it just copies it and broadcast it to the hacker which then takes your money.

To search for the reason now does not make sense. But here are 3 things you need to do first:
1) use a separate computer for wallets and exchanges.
2) put sites in bookmarks and not be caught on phishing sites
3) when you login in the wallet, don't use the Private Key, but use Keystore / JSON File.
And then you'll always sleep well

I've always thought the JSON file is just as vulnerable as a private key?

Most likely you once visited a third-party website on which there were viruses, or mistakenly visited the phishing page of the wallet. It's sad to read such reports, but this is only your fault. You need to be very careful, especially before you type private key :(

The Highest posibility is that, the computer or cellphone you are using has been compromised.
so its better to check it out for malware or any spying programs.
Or its better if you reformat it all. make it safer first before doing something.
And try to think any possibilities how your wallet have been compromised
and eliminate this threats

it looks like your account is hit by a hack and your assets are stolen by a hakcer so your assets are missing you better keep your myetherwallet access in a safer place and do not enter the phishing link.

Well for sure you have some malware made by hacker on your device , which is the common reason why hacker still can see your new eth wallet information  such private key as well,  if i was you try reformat you device immediately to avoid further losses , 'cause if you let that malware will stay on your device ,hacker will be able to determine all of your important files or personal information especially accounts in different sites.  So back up now then reset your device.  

You are hacked in a way that there's a malware that I assumed you installed and you never noticed it so the hacker is free to check out on your computer. There is no perfect system in the world so everyone can penetrate if there's an opening especially if the hacker is quite good and has been robbing as his job. This is why I'm always telling you guys that spend some money for your security through buying an hardware wallet.

Well, you are so unfortunate at that moment you should always check your laptop if it has a virus or malware on it. In these days there are so many people that are good at using technologies including those hackers that hacked your laptop. Always check it not only your wallet.  Next time if you have noticed your wallet is hacked again check your laptop first or computer.

Your PC sold you out. I would suggest you start using Blue wallet, by far now is safe as it does not require a private key all you need for the wallet is just your password which only you should have access to. Sorry for your loss

there are two possibilities
one: your computer is hacked by people, maybe someone close to you. chances are he's transferring coins from your wallet to his wallet (hacker), after knowing your password and private key. do you ever lend your laptop to someone else? possibly 20%.

two: do you make a transaction before your wallet is hacked? incorrectly entered the address or maybe they know your private key? but the likelihood of it happening only 1%.

All you can do now is check where your coins are transferred, then note the address, transaction number, then you can contact the support contact.

I think you have malware on your laptop. You should clean it completely. I do not advise to do any other actions from the computer, except directly related to the cryptocurrency.

Oh! It's sad to know about your losses. I am sorry but I think you are equally responsible for the second time you lost everything in your wallet. When you came to know that some of your assets have been stolen you should have checked the laptop security. Without a compromised system it is not easy for someone to hack your wallet. You must have received a crack from the hacker's otherwise the second incident would have not been happened.

There is much news related to hacking these days, mostly about malware. The best advice here is to entirely clear your PC or even change it to prevent further funds loss. Be extremely careful next time, man! Even while browsing crypto-related websites.

You are been totally hack bro. Your laptop has remoted by some. You MEW will never been hack if your are logging in the right website. Your tokens will never be snatch from your MEW as long as you did not log in your private key. You need to step on what did you do from your laptop, basically doble check all those what you've been through from all those sites you were in. My suggetstion is, forget everything start from new back up you laptop ang restore a new one. Goodluck.

Yes, I have learned enough from this accident. Now I really want to focus to buy a hardware wallet before making any new coins or investments. I wanted to buy a Ledger Nano wallet before the hack. Yes, I think so too. The hacker hacked my whole laptop or he was monitoring me. I set up new windows in my laptop and I keep my all important in a password protected zip file and then I keep all of them in a pen drive. I don't know is it secure enough or not. Now, I think they hacker hacked your laptop or they add something that can monitor you. Without it, I really confused. I have seen many MEW Hack related topic on this board but this is different. The hacker may hack your total PC and they got your new wallet's private key from your pasting tool. It can be happen but how can they hack you by only an email. Sorry to say, Maybe you put your wallet key in your email. But this new case really very confusing and I am not sure about it.

The question is this, where are you saving your privates? Are you saving your private keys in your email address? If yes then the hacker have access to your email, or the hacker have install a key logger on your pc that collects everything you type in your system, To be save I advice you use mycrypto.com desktop wallet and you will free, Never put your private in any site again, rather use metamask

It will be in your laptop has malware into it. It may be downloaded in your laptop in the link that you click unknowingly, that is why most of us here do not click link or go to shady website as we risk our selves in getting our data stolen, specially you pass keys into our wallets. This also happen in my social media account and good thing that I was able to change may password. The problem here is that in wallets you cannot change your pass keys, and let this be a lesson to you to be diligent in the websites and links that we access.

I suggest that don't use your laptop until it is not reformat because the hacker could have access on the laptop you are using also try to get a new email because maybe you save your privatekeys on your email and it was been compromised so start from newly formatted laptop and email to get rid of the hacker access your wallets.

One case I see is there are hacker around you and inout some fike over your lap top so whatever you do like inputting the password will direct the data from you to hacker. I forgot what this kind of file but sad to hear you got hack. We cant do anything on that, maybe you should be more aware in crypto and some securities

Whatever you do not use that laptop again.  I would not even trust a reformat at this point if I was going ot transact a large amount of money.  Almost better off getting a $200 POS from walmart and only use that with your crypto transactions.

the first step you must delete all existing data in the browser and the application installed in browser
the second step clean up the chache and histroy in the browser
the third step because the money lost will not come back, you should be more careful with pishing account

don't trust anyone and don't share your privat key or any password to strange.

i have to say sorry first, similar incident happened recently but not malware its due to day trade.  i think the hacker got the whole computer of yours. he can manage your computer thats the reason. please format the computer and install a fresh copy of windows. then use it.

I think if your computer is hacked but somehow someone is actually manipulating your account. I always suggest to people to never use another Myetherwallet if they are sure their computers are safe. I use a hard wallet that is difficult to be hacked. So I just want to say you have to be patient with this kind of incident.

Keyloggers i think. So the good thing that you should have done is to re-install windows and get an updated antivirus. And then use it.

I think you inadvertently open the phishing site that finally all wallet yours could be compromised. It's already starting to happen often and certainly should always be alert. Phishing sites began many scattered and if entered in it then the personal data that we have will be easily taken by someone else.

Maybe you should download an anti-virus software and check it.

This is a very sad news. Being hacked two times in a row us not easy to swallow. It's either your laptop has been totally infected with some  viruses, malware, keyloggers, spywares, etc or the MEW website you visit is a fake or compromised one. You should hard format your laptop and install latest Windows 10 and make sure it's updated always. Also download MEW offline version

Oh men that was verry bad and terrible situation for you maybe your laptap has malware and viruses thats why the hacker get easily hack your Mew or maybe you get into phissing site . I always stay away from clicking suspicious links and stop joining in some airdrop my bad for yah. I recommend that dont ever make a wallet on MEW because we all know that this website is very vulnerable to the hackers just try to use METAMASK its more secure than MEW or try IM TOKEN wallet too. The best thing to do with that is move on because your tokens are gone forever ,but thats okay you can start all new again but learn from your lesson and clean your laptap.

I’m sure that you have some kind of Trojan horse injected to your computer. If you wish to be safe, you have to use specially designated computer for your wallet without any other programs and don’t use it for other purposes. Also you have to reinstall operation system on your laptop.

Better to sell your computer, and I suggest you start switching using Blue wallet, because so far it has excellent security. For your loss, I hope you're fine, sorry it's no use. This is a global problem, where hacking is the most difficult enemy to kill. All developers are racing to create the best solution to prevent hacking.

i think your laptop is infected by some virus or trojan, or you login to fake website of myetherwallet, first thing first you must reinstall your laptop to make sure you have a clean laptop to using again, and second make sure next time you double check myetherwallet website address before you login.

Surely a malware is on your computer so no matter how many new MEW your generate, your private key is already exposed to hacker and he simply takes control your MEW wallet.

have you checked your personal computer if you are a victim of malware or have you checked the website that you visited previously? because you cant easily hacked unless the hacker has the access to your private key.
and I suggest you to use hardware wallet than using myetherwallet.

My personal experience, when we browse sometimes we visit sites that seem ordinary but actually it is a trap. Most likely you've visited third-party websites that contain viruses, or mistakenly visited a phishing wallet page. Very sorry for you, but this is completely your fault. This experience can be a lesson for anyone, the world of crypto still have risks.

I'm sure, inside your laptop has some malware that is dangerous, some data or even completely your data has been leaked and targeted to the hacker. Another thing that may happen is you sent a link that leads to your account, when in fact it is not. If almost all of your wallet were hacked and you are using the samr laptop over and over again you must have a malware on your laptop.  Since you have said that it was a new wallet and it was hacked just the night when you secured your fund.

As an aside, I like the 'cenralised' aspect of EOS in this respect. If this was EOS you could ask for an arbitrator to lock up the stolen funds and get them back for you. No guarantees it would work, but it seems crazy to me that hackers can get away with this kind of stunt on other blockchains and there is literally no recourse.

I often create new wallets on MEW and I haven't had any problems with them yet, all indicating that someone has access to your computer.

Thank you very much for your great suggestion. But Still, I can't find how the hacker hacked my PC or wallet. But I am sure that He was monitoring me, Otherwise, he never could hack my new wallet. I did not keep my private key on email, I saved them in a notebook. However he did with me, I never forgive him, Hacker will burn in the hell.

I think the second possibility happened to me. Because myetherwallet website has bookmarked and saved in my browser, I never input my private key in a phishing site where I always use metamask.  And, I am using windows 10 with windows defender activated. I did not receive any malware alert from my defender.  But without hacking my PC, the hacker couldn't hack my new wallet. I accept my bad luck, hope good things are waiting for me in the future.

Most probably, your system is infected with a malware or a keylogger or your clipboard is getting transacted. If you were sure that your all wallets are getting hacked, first thing you should have done is to use a different laptop to move your funds in a new wallet. Even if the hacked forgot to hack your old wallet, by doing a new transaction, you might have given him access to your new wallet key as well.

Because of such problems I left long time ago MyEtherwallet. Now I am using Metamask and in little extent some other services. There is not regret about where I am keeping my money at the current period of time.

I don't think your computer is keylogged because no one manually types his private key.

I think there is a virus or malware on your pc, clean it using antivirus or completely format. That's why the hacker know your wallet and the password too.
