Title: What's with reddit? Post by: mountainlion on February 14, 2014, 11:46:14 PM Any post with almost anything beneficial, truly beneficial to bitcoin gets downvoted to oblivion almost instantly I notice. (At least in the past few days)

Reddits pushing porn and any mom and pop shop that accepts bitcoin for oil changes or whatever random service you can think of. In reality this is nothing new, anyone can accept bitcoin through coinbase. I'm beginning to believe that the shit I see at the top of reddit.com/r/bitcoin is what is chosen to be fed to me. Some heavy bot action in play. Actually, now that I've said it out loud, I see the potential for money in doing so. Is it time for a new avenue to express our love for btc?

Really.. a conspiracy theory... huh... I think I will pay more attention. I just assumed that r/bitcoin suffers from being on reddit. Every popular sub eventually turns to that. It's something to do with the downvoting. Like American Idol or whatever. Crowd-sourcing content. Reddit's problem is that the downvotes outnumber the upvotes ten to one. Also I think most people didn't even see it, since those first upvotes or downvotes decided on that.

I like reddit mostly for jobs4bitcoin :) and I dont have to search 1020192 pages because there is no so much to read :P :) Anyway perhaps you are right if he look in general. But I think for me reddit is more like some parts joined togerther and not all of them are good and some of them are brilliant ;) Title: Re: What's with reddit?
