Title: Localbitcoins freezing accounts for no reason and no response from support Post by: thehun on July 13, 2018, 10:34:24 AM I have been on Localbitcoins for 5 years with no open disputes or negative rep and a fully verified account. Suddenly yesterday after opening a few smaller trades I see that my account is in "forced holiday" without having received any warning.
I have tried to contact support but I didn't receive any reply yet. I see many other people have had the same issue so I tried to contact the team on Twitter and Facebook, also without any success. So take your own conclusions out of this. It's not the first case I see where someone is suddenly locked in his account. They often say in support that their automated system flagged you for suspicious activities. But so far they never say what was the suspicious activity you performed on the site.
Good luck with their support :/ Title: Re: Localbitcoins freezing accounts for no reason and no response from support Post by: davis196 on July 15, 2018, 11:17:05 AM Off course it is "risky".Dealing with every crypto exchange website is risky.They have privacy policy and terms of service,in which they clearly state that only you are responsible for any surcumstances.If anything happens and you lose your cryptos,or they decide to ban your account for any reason they want,it`s your fault,not theirs.You have to accept their rules or leave.
