Bitcoin’s next run will go further and happen quicker than people realize.

In the news, we have Europe’s largest trader of exchange-traded funds is moving into crypto and the CBOE applying for a Bitcoin ETF again. August 10th is the date to watch for the approval or disapproval of the ETF. Even if it gets rejected like the other times, it will provide clarity as to what is needed to approve one.

If that will be accepted by SEC and i doubt about that can give a huge impact to the price of bitcoin instantly. Remember at the last time SEC didn't even give a clue about why they were rejecting it. I was feeling doubt  about that and at least that gives a little chance.

you also forgot that many people believe that $6000 is the price that is bare minimum for miners to make profit so they say if it falls below that price they will lose money. that means they have incentive for buying bitcoin when it is close to $6k and never let it fall below.

i believe we have a rise coming with or without ETF. ETF can only speed it up if approved or slow it down if not. in any case the rise is coming.

From what I heard, insider info is it will be approved.

I hope you are right, all those large investment funds really want to get a grasp of these new technologies and the larges exchanges are getting ready for them.

I doubt that there are leaks about this before the decision is made public. There may be experts who think or are sure that it will be approved but until there is an official decision, all that is said will be mere conjecture.

With the introduction of ETF to gold in 2005, we see not only price growth, but also growth
volumes. Also, with the introduction of ETF for gold, the volume of futures transactions increased from 20 million contracts in 2006 to 73 million in 2017. Let's hope that bitcoin will have a similar situation....

I believe that we need ETF or just approval of it since there is lack of liquidity in market, this is why we can see these breakouts in btc and fast dumps - the sell and buy walls are easy to go through and market is being manipulated.

As i understand this time the proposal has a higher chance to go through because it is made for institutional investors which SEC could like.

I'm split on the whole ETF thing, while institutional money is needed, I feel like the market is still too immature and with very little regulation, I am wary of market manipulation.

where I see the next bull run coming, is when exchanges finally catch on and start becoming compliant to list securities.
This is where I see vast amount of new money coming in.
Securities are the "bridge" that brings the traditional marketing world together with the crypto world.
It still boggles my mind why exchanges haven't made this a priority, there is literally billions of dollars to be had.

Overall, I am not so positive the next bull run will happen soon, although I am not negative enough to think that crypto is over.
I am planning and looking for a Q4 bull run.

Many investors and traders are waiting for ETF decission  but it seems that there will be no decision on 10th of August and we may have to wait a little longer. When it happens it will be a milestone for our Crypto community.

If you heard it then its no Insider info anymore and posted it on forums lol . Last ETF gave really shaky movement before ETF decision . This year maybe we will see acceptance ? That would be really great and hopefully market will recover

I don't think there's any information on that. Only opinion experts, and pundits. We should expect an official decision.

No risk no gain but you should able to provide a clearance to take high risk. Which are probability to break down your business trust you should avoid this.

I don't know any update about it , investors are waiting very eagarly for having update from the ETF but I don't think they will give news on time we have to wait more longer for updates and expert opinion are also needed here cause you need experience for understanding this place it is not that you predicte something and it will be correct

I hope that market will get bullish even before etf date as most of the news is positive and crypto seems to settle well now as most of the big countries are now allowing crypto-business after regulation, registration or kyc, exchanges are also getting green signals all these events indicate big volume to be back in the market soon.

I am very pleased to read that the biggest European exchange-traded fund trader is taking an interest in the cryptocurrency market, which is good news for the whole industry. I hope that on August 10th there will be the approval of this Bitcoin ETF, even if I remain confident about a future market recovery

We all know our market need lot of positive news to get back on track and one of those news - about bitcoin ETF which can really bring it back on track to cross its ATH this year.

I disagree. I think it might be a long time before we see bitcoin rise to the heights it once did.

2017 was a special year because so much crypto hype was generated that everybody and their grandmothers started buying. With the subsequent crash, a lot of that hype has died down, and while more people know about crypto now, i think it's something they don't care much about anymore.

So far, the market is till in a dip. But if we go for the analysis of the trends, the market is getting better but at a slow rate. Nevertheless, we should not lose hope and give up on the crypto, and that the market will get better with our without ETF.

I heard this news and i think it always happen. Peoples are investing more on this site and want great technology and also good secure transaction system. But you need to become always positive.

As the whole sysytem of the crypto currency is decentralized, there will be rapid fall and rise of the coin price. Though currently bitcoin price has fallen but hopefully very soon it will rise up.

Based on this market conditions is really bad I mean of the coins are infected for price based on this if we notice in this month or previous month then we can see that the price of coins is increasing slowly also I believe that this will hit double in 2019.

That's a great news. Even if the ETF doesn't get approved , Europe's largest trader moving into cryptocurrency who'll have a huge impact on the cryprocuurency. It's good to see the countries gradually opening up to cryptocurrency.

The ETF when approved will make crypto currency to jump start it's bull run for the year 2018 and I wish this will come to pass and i am patiently waiting for August for the ruling on ETF

It is true that recently the market of crypto currency is facing a downfall but it is recovering. The rate might be slow but in the coming time the market will recover and the prices will rise. the whole market will benefit form a recovery as the old investor can extract their profit and more people will be keen on investing, this will happen with or without ETF

I don't know if that will affect the price as much as anyone is expected but it will have an impact if it were approved. If it is approved, then we can be sure that other exchanges across the world will start picking up cryptocurrencies to put on theirs. It would be a big win for cryptos and might catapult us into the next big bull market like we have been expecting.

There's a lot of good news in the crypto-money market right now, and news from the United States and South Korea will always cheer the market up.

Personally im a little confused now with all these etf announcements i hope someone will clarify the issue, earlier i was hearing that sec will decide about btc etf on 10th august then i heard that it is postponed till 21st of september, now yesterday i heard that sec has rejected etf, so what exactly is hapoening, i know that market is still looking bullish and final etf decision will be coming at 21st september, i hope market will grow convincingly before and after etf.
