Have you ever solo mined?

Have you searched internet for how to solo mine? Youtube is great.

Have you created the .conf file and put it in Appdata?

Type %appdata% in the command box and there should be a folder "Herocoin", just put the .conf file there and restart wallet.

Then you're ready to solo mine with gpu miner, type:

herogpuminer --scrypt  -w 128 --lookup-gap 2 -I 13 --thread-concurrency 8392 -g 1 -o localhost:8344 -u Username -p password


Don't forget that username and password must match the ones in the .conf file.

And wallet must be synced to be able to solo mine.

in gpuminer I get an error screen that says the program can not start Because zlib1.dll is missing from your computer. How can I fix? I downloaded the file again official herocoin

try to use "-url localhost:8344" without the "http://"

also "-P" is not for password, use "-p" for password

but I think that for CPU mining, you're already late, even with gpu....

 No offense guys but just from reading this thread and the total lack of communication from the Dev but simple answers and seems is doing nothing for the coin besides saying yes and no to what you guys say. I would stay clear and save your Hashrate. Just my opinion but to each there own. Who knows i could be wrong and the Dev might speak a full sentence some day or do something to promote his coin.

It seems also the coin is dead, but if we look at cryptorush (HRO), there is some movement, and in the wallet I can see the hashrate is slowly growing up.
