The only reason you don't hear much about it is because BTC has many times more users and more public visiblity. +1 just like the computer virus epidemic of microsoft vs apple in the late 90's everyone was seeing microsoft getting virus's and apple was showing off how they don't get them. not because their code was better, but because more people used microsoft and virus makers could not be assed to learn how to mess with apple, because hardly anyone used it in comparison. As the "flagship" of crypto currencies it is expected that Bitcoin will find most problems first and be targeted most often.
