Title: Any world wide working BTC card??
Post by: chrusso on July 14, 2018, 09:46:48 PM
Hi everyone!

I've been looking for a working BTC debit card without any luck. I'm located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Does anyone know any company with a good, working service?

I'll try any recommended service and report back here.

Thanks in advance;
Chris

Unfortunately, you can't order Cryptopay card now due to the sudden programme closure by our card issuing bank.
We're working on the solution, stay tuned.

Here's a thread listing the status of most (or all??) btc debit cards:Bitcoin Debit Cards (updated July 12th, 2018) (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DRbTeMCzb4UeXI0YlAzBxMc2u2i0cN_17Ql6eMngK6E/edit#gid=0)

As you can see paycent is tagged as "worldwide". I haven't used it so I can't vouch for it so do your homework and check its background. I would be happy to read your review

Thanks a lot!

I just applied Mco aka Monaco, downloaded the app, provide them all the requested data and it's pending approval. I'll keep updating.

Xapo, tried before, and they are not offering cards, at least not in Buenos Aires, Argentina at this point.

In case the list given by Potato chips is not full, check this one too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242788.0

A debit/credit card should work anywhere where Visa/MasterCard is supported, unless you mean the shipping and verification of course then in that case, there are some restrictions.

Hmmmm... Is that a pre-registration? or the real thing? Last time I check they were still testing the cards.

I'm honestly considering them if wirex takes too long to support asian countries.

https://mona.co/ Nothing from them. You download their up, you give them a lot of data and they put you on a waiting line which looks like it's gonna take undefined time.

Next one.

chrusso, I heard good comments about Revolut (https://www.revolut.com), and it not cost you anything to to investigate its possibilities, it shoud work in Argentina. They support over 130 fiat currencies and Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ripple.

Maybe that's not what you're looking for, but I think it's worth a try ;)

No luck here either Lucius:

"Sorry, Revolut is currently only available to residents of the European Economic Area. We're expanding globally very soon!"

It looks like there's actually no options at all for certain countries like Argentina to hold a visa/mc/amex card in BTC.

Hello, any news on this? I’ve been looking for a crypto debit card too. I used to have CryptoPay but it’s not longer available. The only option I could find is Payoneer, but it’s not a Bitcoin/Ethereum based service.

My intention is to use it to verify and withdraw from PayPal.

Thanks.

It doesn't work with all the cards, I think it depends on the country issuing the card and your location

I'm using local bitcoin, couldn't find anything better, next step is setup www.kraken.com against a bank.

I have used UQUID and Wirexapp and they both were working with PayPal in the past and I think It's still the case. As long as the case is Visa, It should verify the account.
