The growing development of cryptocurrency in the world becomes a very positive thing in this digital era where the use of blockchain-based technology becomes real. However, in my mind, being questionable is actually the reason that many people make and create a new crypto currency?

Reason number one:For pump&dump purposes.
Reason number two:Exit scam ICO(which is kinda like the first one,but with pump&dump they could pump the coin again and gain aditional profits).
Those are the real reasons.The fake reasons include:instant and cheaper transactions,easy and profitable mining,technology innovation that will beat the crypto competition.

Perhaps, To meet the market needs that have not been touched cryptocurrency and for fundraising projects.

The main reason for creating new crypto is innovation because already all the projects are available in the market new projects is little alter the new technology so this will more favourable and secure in future surely this will going to moon. But main aim of new cryptocurrency is security and technology.

Some new cryptocurrencies has real value. When the token has a real world use, or when some real business are moving there operations to blockchain.

However I think most of the new altcoins are just created to make easy money, as you can see so many ICO scams out there.

To compete in the crypto world by providing different technologies and maximizing their use as currency or others to be the best of others and most importantly it is very profitable where so many new coins are everywhere, they build utility coins that he thinks will be more interesting and bring the needs in the community. As a result, the coins will be more liquid and the price potentially continue to rise, the more advanced technology then there are many opportunities to keep up with it.

I'm sure that majority of cryptocurrencies are like that, they are created with a purpose of making their creators rich and will die eventually because there was never real goal of developing them.
However, some developers start their own cryptocurrencies because the field is still very new and they think that they are smarter than others and can create a coin better than all other coins or a coin with unique features. Take Vitalik Buterin as an example, he wanted to become Bitcoin Core dev but was rejected, so he started his own project.

Its the project they create and not the coin really. They create the tokens for the share value, internal currency adoption or utility purpose for example. We know that coins mean way of connecting investor and businesses so that they can raise the funds.

Some of them intentionally create it so that they can raise the funds and run away.  ;D

Some of them are genuine creators and do what they promised and those are the coins which make it upto the CMC or big exchangers.

Of course to earn money, but really they create new crypto or do ICO to raise fund for them to used for their project or to start and finish their product.

To lure investors so they can make money from the crypto that they made. That's the first thing comes in to my mind when I see ICOs and forks. After some time most of these alts will be worthless then other developers announces a second version of their worthless alt to fix the mistakes so they can keep making money.

Others make their own crypto to replace the older ones like Bitcoin but we all know that no alt would replace Bitcoin.

It's most likely that most of them do it because of the $..

To make money. A high % of the newer projects/coins are either a rip-off version of another crypto or just a basic project with no innovation. Those coins offer nothing but the posibilitty of making a quick buck. The crypto market is very profitable since there's always going to be people investing in shitty pump and dump coins just to make some quick profits, that's basically one of main the reason why we see so many new coins every month. Then you have legit projects (which don't care about the profits) from devs and enthusiasts who actually want to offer something new in the cryptosphere, but they're just.

There are lot of opinions that could be one of the reasons why they create a new cryptocurrency . It could be they one to create a legacy  in this industry ofcryptocurrency or they are amazed of the potential of cryptocurrency that makes them motivate to create of their own or they dont like the current coin and they want to replace it.

I think the Crypto market is getting a lot of attention from business enthusiasts. Because ICO is a system that attracts investment capital online and has a lot of labor force to promote new projects. So this is an opportunity for people who have good ideas but have no capital to realize their dreams. They will use their great ideas to attract investors and do not need any other conditions.

The main reason must be for profit.  You know, like you create something worthless and i hoping people will buy it for thousand of USD someday.

Basically, people compose a team for an ICO project that could attract investors based on the platform and blockchain technology it can offer to the public. Somehow, the main reason is to earn huge profit to such project and hoping for the investors to patronize their ICO project. The project team should have substantial ideas to make the project work wherein people may be encourage to participate and invest to such ICO believing it could generate promising profit.

Some people who are creating such coins are used to gain so much money for themselves and not in it for the technology and for the future of cryptocurrencies. But some good coins are showing up but now as many as the useless ones.

most of them are to attract investor to earn huge amount and scam most of new project now are fake but there some developer serious about creating of new coin they think they can solve what the lack of others coin.

The question is easy to answer. The main reason is to make money with it. Since 99% of the new Coins are pure clones, they are actually useless and worthless. They usually have no real benefit and most of the time it's just about the dev or the dev team behind the new coin trying to make money with it. Only 1% of the new coins bring something new to the table or continue to develop the coin in his own direction. Therefore, you should always be careful with new Coins first and see how it develops. Because some Coins die faster than you can see.  ;)

it is unclear what you mean by "being questionable" but as everyone already knows the reason for creating a new cryptocurrecny for 98% of them is to make money and they make money by pump and dumping their useless coin. these coins are usually a copy of another coin or they are filled with bugs and unsolved issues and the problem is nobody cares, everyone else is only looking for that profit so they invest in those coins and let them stay alive.

as a result when there is this money making opportunity, we keep seeing new useless coins be created.

of course it is worth mentioning that in rare cases (like that 2%) there are good projects too. but unfortunately as i said above since people care about making money they don't go for the real good projects. instead they choose the bad ones that are hyped hence the top 10 altcoins!!!

they dont create crypto they create a project and that project will be benefited if they use coin of them that is the cryptocurrency. however many ICO failed because the project is not that essential in the market.

Because many people think that calling ICO investments in the cryptocurrency market is easy, more and more new projects are being formed but the majority of them are scam and ineffective. I think there should be realistic and clear goals for creating a project that serves a real field.

Almost everything in this world from service to product had been created and offered by ico community so i guess the simple reason for creating copy cat is for sole purpose and this is to victimizing investors that may bite their baits and become another victim..unless the project is unique (that I doubt thers any)no other reason for this

Cause every crypto has something "original", if it is the copy of other coin it won't make "profits" and won't grow in price but making coins could lead to nice profits and could lead to gaining lot of investors who will believe in your "plan". People are trying to earn in lots of ways and that is one of them.

My point. Being a coin now worth to the community, can meet the market. For example: the currency is used to load games, buy online, other transactions, .. That is the valuable money for the community. It deserves to be welcomed by the community. I think so.

Peole believe in cryptocurrency and they will invest time effort and money on this because as we can see it is really profittable.  But we have to be extra careful because many ICOs are also just created to scam others.

The reason for creating new e-money is that we have more and more needs as well as more opportunities to get access to new technologies and that has made the creators create new coin.

It is sad, but true. Most coins are created so that their developers can benefit financially. We just have to look at all the coins which are considered "dead". Their developers have most probably profited at the expense of ordinary investors.

Why not to use an existing currency for the same goals? Maybe somebody tries to implement a stronger system, more resistant to various types of attacks on blockchain. Perhaps, for others, their own token is an additional marketing move. Or someone believes that the existing solutions are not suitable for their purposes for some reasons.

It should be about ideals, trying to improve on crypto.
Unfortunately I believe most coins that release now are made out of greed.

Blockchain is the good technology for the better system and I believe it will become more useful as we are approaching the future. We can not avoid the people using this technology to create their own altcoin  for the very reason of getting the fund of the investors and then run. Because blockchain technology is not yet regulated globally.

The reason why the ICOs issue their tokens is due it's the best way to raise the money for the purpose of the ICO. It is said that there are 3 types of tokens, as long as you see more ICOs you can check it.

These are the tokens that will allow the ICOs to enter the cryptocurrency market and the stock negotiation is available to all. We do not need to be a recognized investor to acquire them, it is the token that we know the most.

• Securities Tokens,

Are those tokens backed and are negotiable to acquire exchangeable currencies, real estate among others.

• Utility Tokens,

This token allows users access to a product or service. For example: To activate a wallet you need to activate it with a number of tokens.

It does seems the process of creating a new cryptocurrency is too easy. That is why more and more continue to flood the crypto market everyday. My only concern is that not all are actually good or have a working product or service.

The actual reason behind the creationg of new crypto currency by some dev will always two reason. 1) some created new cryptocurrency just to make their pocket rich cause their plan isvto calm their investors off their money. 2) while some create new crypto currency in other to appreciate and edidy the block chain network and technology.

 I'm thinking they're the most common reason to this year new cryptocurrency is ICO project when you just want to achieve the things that you cannot affordr for your money that you have.

I think most of the cryptocurrencies emerging are as a result of companies and group of people selling/promoting their products/projects through ICOs. Some people have very bright ideas and may need the support of people by raising money through ICOs.

Every cryptocurrency created because have their own purpose and utility. Some crypto created for bussiness purpose like ethereum, waves, neo and other. Some created for payment and currency like bitcoin and others. The reason many diffrent crypto created because every crypto have their own advantages

Ideals and improving crypto (Bitcoin more specifically) was only a thing in 2011 and before that.

The entire crypto ecosystem is one big mess and I dislike it to the core. If someone comes up to me and asks whether or not it's a good time to invest in crypto, I advise that person to not invest at all. Stay away. If you aren't capable of doing basic level research yourself you shouldn't be here, period.

I somewhat miss the early days here, where you could endlessly talk about what would happen if this or that bank would hop on board, what would happen if Litecoin was added to MtGox, which we thought would sky rocket the price to $50, etc. Everything we were hoping for and were afraid of to happen, is happening right now.

There are few reasons for creating a cryptocurrency and they are like few people who come under whitelist who really have some good concept and good future plans which again implemented with blockchain technology can give you good returns and your cryptocurrency might rock  all over the world for a particular service or industry while other people just create pump & dump channel in order to scam the people for personal profits.

Innovation is one of the reason why people intends to generate another currency even a present currencies are reliable. ICO mentality is to produce a newly upgraded currency that can surpass BTC or propose more than BTC does. Scam also are influential to create believable currency even not. they simply want to make some profit in the easiest way. Why is the reason questionable? It is extremely understandable - they want to earn money. Otherwise, there would not be so many companies. For me, the important thing is that the team or project has been working since 2016 and more.

They create new electronic money for the purpose of raising capital. and develop their projects. So they achieve the goal then they pay the profits to the tokens holders by raising their prices

Every new cryptocurrency is its own unique project and they're used on the various platforms for which they were created. Also to me, I think they add value to the trading market. The problem associated with it may be the increased scam coins creation.

Most of them are made scam purposes. Most of them are made with the intention to get money from the people and give nothing back to them. I guess this is why the crime rate in the crypto currencies has overgrown now and this is why they are creating the new coins everyday. Have you ever noticed that there is no more growth of the list in the CMC where 1500 coins remains constant and those come out as scams are always removed from it. The list grows by 100's of new coins by weeks but it reset back to original number because by that time scam once are delisted. So its all about scams, stealing and she like that. In short!

There are many reason why they would want to create a new altcoin. For instance there are a group out there that would want to scam you, other just want to do a pump and dump on it, while other would really want innovation into the market that they are representing, and there are others that just do not want to be left out because of the booming technology.

The main reason in most cases is money I guess. Creating a cryptocurrency is an easy way of raising money. There are exceptions of course, who want to create something revolutionary.

Most likely this is the improvement of technology and the contribution to the development of new technologies

I think the reason for new encryption may be that people want to break the existing social order and economic order, and there are many rules that need to be changed.

I no longer trust any new cryptocurrency ,simply because every ico creator now only looking to collect a couple of millions from investors and leave the project even ico rating websites became the same and give high rates to shit projects . everyone now trying to collect as much as they can except investors like us who lose money!

There are many reasons as to why people keep on producing new coins in the market, and some of them are not genuine so you should mind the cryptocurrency you’re putting your money into, you shouldn’t be going in for any cryptocurrency you see in the market, cause some of them are fake.

Some of them are made to scam investors, after they have all invested their money, these fake devs will run away with it. Some of them are legit though, just like Bitcoin, XRP, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and a lot of them.

I guess thae main reason is to get money, come on guys it's nit even rocket science and let's not be naive. I think second reason is for market competition and diversity. It really does wonders when we introduce new stuff. Besides new ICOs means new blockchains to pay for online goods and services.

You said well about the designing of new currencies which correct the short comings and the false or satisfactory points. Now the crypto market has gotten more success and popularity and it was necessary to design more cryptocurrencies because a single source can not fight for a long time against power of countries which are in opposition to it. So the other cryptocurrencies also proved that with the Bitcoin they are here for the benefit of people.

certainly the project and the development of new technology that underlies the making of new coins. with an interesting project, and successfully attract investors, the price will also be valuable in the market.

While a whole of people have concluded that crypto currency creation has been largely polarized by greedy and selfish people, it still does not remove the kind of advantage they have been able to bring into the entire crypto currency market. In the midst of the scams some projects have been able not only turn out impressive ROI for early investors, they have also been able to finance projects and making impacts in the real world wherever they are residents.
The above are the ones I see and would focus on to have the right reason on why they create a new crypto currency while the others that are about their own interest are just passers by and should not be accorded any recognition for creating a crypto as what they created is something else other than crypto currency.

A good reason to create new cryptocurrency is to have a currency with features that suit the company's products. It makes life easier for their clients if they have their own currency with special features. Another thing is for profit, of course. The company will make double profit from having their own products and their own currency to buy it. In the same fashion, their clients would also profit from it through trading. So it's all about money-making.

I believe that now the release of new coins is simply useless. A lot of coins that are useless. There are a lot of new crypto-exchanges that are absolutely not needed. All coins try to bring income to their creators and the group of individuals who are close to them. Pump and dump, that's their result. Only 100 ICO, only 1 coin (Ico) really cool with interesting idea.

Those people that are keep on creating new cryptocurrencies are only to make more money.

Gone are the days where devs are for the innovation and technology, today is different and most of them got eaten by greed after knowing that they can make money out of their ideas.

Obviously as you said cryptocurrency is a growing technology so there is a lot of money to be made in it, and since people saw how successful ICO projects were, they started rushing into creating their own tokens, their own cryptocurrency, and mabye you think that this is a good thing, but it is not because it turned the whole market into a market filled with shit coins that add nothing to the scean because they are made just for profit purposes only.

Before I tell you why there are people who create a new cryptocurrency and what is the reason why they do that. I like to example that social media. Facebook, twitter, instagram. We all know that these are the most famous and most used social media in the whole world. But when we look at the past. There are some first social media that was created. Like friendster and etc. They made a new social media because of exclusivity. Every people needs a new way of doing something.

According to my inference. There are many reasons to create new cash flow.
It is possible to mobilize capital to push up the market and accompanied by the top ranked currencies.
It could also be a big bid for big investors.
But in my opinion, outdated currency is not good for the community, it needs to be changed or repaired.
Let it give value to the user community and investors.

Right now, there are more than 100 crypto currencies already and that the ones who are busy in investing of their money into crypto coins are already very much confused when it comes to that of the making of the choice amongst all the crypto coins for the sake of investing of the money. Yes I agree on you. The last decades they create IPO or what we called Initial Public Offering. I think the main reason for creating new cryptocurrency is part of the innovation made by blockchain technology.New cryptocurrencies appear aiming to hit high prices during the pumps and dumps in the market.And with this fluctuations in the market,they may hit their goals or just simply die just like some other newly coins.

If we will speak about alternative cryptocurrencies, the reason is very simple, and it is a creating of new ICO to achieve some goals to solve some problems, to create something new, etc.

When I saw the title then thought same reason for that. Yeah so many useless and no needed new crypto currencies born every day for that reasons mostly. 95% of that currencies will die and only "just" 5% of them will survive.

Some of the up and coming tokens don't have real use as bitcoin and other tokens/coins. The increase in the number of tokens make it extremely difficult to identify which new project is authentic. Some of these projects should collaborate with others with similar ideas to build a better platform. Competition is good but "Quality" is better. Isn't is possible that some of these projects that create tokens any time adopt bitcoin?

There's a many reason why some people make a new cryptocurrency because others want to scam the investor that's why some of are making a ICO to scam the people. And some of the reason is to pump and dump or usually other company wants to have good reputation in the crypto world.

    I think the reason for creating new cryptocurrency is to have an easy money by the creator only. a lot of fake ICO out there now and they don't care about you, they just care about themselves on how they can earn money through people then after they got it they will disappear. The simplest reason is that they want to make money. The sale of ICO makes them have a lot of money to invest and develop the project. But not all projects are truly developed, besides many projects are created to scam. Almost all ICOs work properly, accounting for only 2% of the total.

Others are for the purpose of starting a better crypto than the others than can compete with those who are on the top. Others are just scammers who take advantage of people and their money. Others use it for thw development of their company.

well, I think there are so many reasons for this. the reason for the new cryptocurrency is of course to cover the weakness of the previous coin. well, although sometimes it is used for nearly the same project, sometimes the new cryptocurrency has a striking advantage in the previous comparison.

Possibly, the creation of a new Cryptocurrency is to rebalance the crypto market. At present, the number of crypto in the market is very large, but the value of each type of difference is very high. The creation of a new coin must be done at the same time to create the trust for users to receive the trust of the investors.

I think, there are 2 reasons:
1. A project that had great ideas and concepts that can be implemented on blockchain technology which is very potential to have a bright future, which we are did not imagine it before. They will need a huge capital to develop their products to becomes real in order to be used publicly, as they promised. Then they will raise funds through TGE, ICO, etc.
or
2. To enrich themselves in a way to make a fake project with the nonsense ideas and concepts on behalf of blockchain technology.

The main reason for creating new cryptography is the change and improvement of electronic money technology, and the is still profitable.

That's not the case we saw a lot of coins everyday because a lot of people wants to do business here and its not about re-balancing. Actually, some of those coins are here to scam people, they created that coin for that purpose. For me, if you really one a good business then create a platform that is really useful so you can survive in this market.

No successful cryptoproject created a coin for the sake of coins (except for fraudulent schemes) Except for the latter, there are several reasons for creating:
First of all, the development of a new system
Another option is that the creator of the future crypto currency invented some new form of exchanges or an algorithm capable of further protecting the digital ecosystem
Owners of online games in the future can actively create their own crypto-currencies

Most of the business tycoon sees that creating an ICO and their own Crypto currency is an opportunity that can't be miss so i think they are grabbing this opportunity because of course to earn more money but unfortunately some of them abused it by creating new currencies just to scam people or just to collect lump sum amount of money for a none potential and not feasible projects.

I think the main reason for creating new cryptocurrency is not always about solving a current problem but just trying to maximize their profit making opportunity because if they can create a cryptocurrency and create an idea that can be sold for a lot of dollars then they will do it without minding if they are really serious for the future of their project.

There still things that is needed and looking for solution is the best reason why  a new token or project is needed to be created

The real reason?they are just creating this new cryptocurrency to scam investors,because in reality most of the service and product that can be offered by the ico has been active already meaning the ico that is trying to build nowadays are just copycat and design to mislead people and become a victim of their greedy actions,so dont mind those newly opened unless you are capable enough to analyze the reliability of each project

There have more than 10k digital coins and approximately 500 of them are more useful. And if you look more carefully, 200 of the 500 are more useful digital coins for humanity. Unnecessary coins are also growing and I do not think it is good.

The main reason is that they need capital to carry out a project, and they issue tokens to raise funds for the project they are working on, the main reason for them to come out with just one tokens.

Each type of altcoins is created to solve a certain problem in life. In addition, each type of coin has certain advantages and limitations, so more and more coins are born to overcome.
But lately there are many ICO projects to scam and steal money from investors. Therefor, you should be very careful.

Let's discuss how we ended up having this much digital coins. First, it's easy to create an altcoin. You might even be able to create one yourself, or maybe a couple hundred. The problem, though, is that how are you going to put value into this coin. For that, you're going to need users of that coin. You need to create demand. Thus, an ICO. But of course you can just create a coin and not do an ICO.

I really think that we should consider the dead coins as.. dead. Not all ideas will be useful to the world. Not all coins will have enough audience. And not really all coins were made to be useful. Some were made for the devs themselves, so they can earn money from it. Some ideas for a coin are just useless while some are just not for this year. People just don't need it, YET. Just like the world that we live in, wealth distribution is also imbalanced in the cryptocurrency world. Some coins might not serve any real purpose at all but still have a good volume. And some coins can have actual use but have not much volume.

These days, ICOs have become so common. So common that even scammers have joined the party. Look at the altcoin boards and see for yourself how much fake ICOs are there. Backread and you will easily find a bounty thread where the participants are saying that they didn't get paid or that the coin didn't have any value when it got listed to a trading site.

Although there have been certain scam ICOs there have been a lot of cheaters.  But there have been some good honest ICOs too.  Cryptocurrency will replace stock markets in the years to come. 
Honest teams will put their pressure in result oriented balance sheets.  then the boom period for crypto will start.  Entrepreneurs will make extra efforts to show good results so that they may collect more funds for further expansions.  If they will not show good results; no one will give them a penny.

So the future is of crypto.

But being on the positive side, a lot of new cryptocurrencies have been developing as it tend to adapt convinience for their customers. That is, if the project is also a success which most of them are much alike and lacks uniqueness.

Blocchain showed himself very cool. People will continue to create new cybercriminals because this can be a good way to earn. Here, it seems to me that the problem is that these new currency percentages with 30% or even more do not even go to the stock exchange. But they are just divorces for the investor to raise money and run away.
Here, as for me, there is a big problem that can ruin this market. But it seems to me that I still need a little bit of time for people to learn how to dump the project. And then we will all really make good money with you.

Well, it is not an offense that participants and companies issue their own tokens, coins and do an emission of cryptocurrencies. In this case it is private money which can be compared with shares on a stock exchange. I know why you have asked this question because everybody in the modern world have got used that everything is evalued  in dollars and we do not face with private money at all that is why we do not understand reasons of creating much currencies because actually we have only dollar as a currency and we do not have experiences of having plenty of currencies in a typical life.

To solve a problem. Blockchain projects are often develop to meet a need and they like other projects requires funding, hence, the need to create coin/token and raise money from ICO to execute the projects.

For one thing, we create products and services in the market because there is a need for it. If there isn't, we create a need for it. Very simple yet very effective. Well if alto of attempts has been done but not yet any of them got success the only thing that got achievement and success is bitcoin, new currency was very important to come in our life because it is not only currency but it is also a source of making money as well so it is actually good thing happened for us, I am sure in future no other good crypto currency will be able to beat bitcoin.

Being questionable you say? Is BTC a questionable crypto? What about ETH, BCH, XRP, Dogecoin, LTC, MONERO and the likes of them, are they also questionable? Some people create new cryptocurrency just as a way to scam others, lots of the cryptos you will see today are scam and at the end everyone will lose their money. Having lots of cryptocurrencies is not the solution to our problem, it’s better we have a few that are trustworthy.

There are lots of reasons why they are creating a lot of new cryptocurrencies, some want changes in the current project, some wants faster and cheaper coins and some only want easy money.

I think the reason is the potential of the digital market and so many are trying to innovate the use of cryptocurrencies. New cyptocurrency are made to have a specific use in the market or business that is why there are large number of ICO presenting their ideas to the market. In some worst cases, there are lots of scam ICO in which they will run the investors money.

Off course so many projects are scam, created for speculation, pumps, and when that is over, you won't here about the coin again, with the project technically over. They are way too many crypto currencies on the market today. Everyone thought they could trick people and get away with it, to make fake profiles, fake websites, fake ICO's and trick people to invest money in their supposed great and big revolutionary project with entire new fake coin behind it. There will be always people wanting more and more money, and finding opportunities to get some more money, free money. That is what fake altcoins are all about.

I agree that most coins are created with the only intention to make money for the developers, and all of the people that invest in the coin do not really care about the project either they only want to make money, and the traders trading the coin do not really care about the coin either they only care about trying to substract money out of the market, so we have a market that is almost entirely composed of coins that are useless and that exist only to make money.
