little early to show support on an exchange when we know nothing about the coin. it's not launched, we don't know if its premined, coin might be total crap depending how good or bad the launch will be... No logo, graphics, proper wallet etc...

Don't want to be a downer but you need a hell a of lot money info out about your coin to get exchange support.

Looks like you have the settings setup for an insta-mine since it halves at 50000 blocks and the difficulty is still at 1. Looks like 5 people are mining it so those five have a whole lot of rainbow coins.

I am not sure if anyone realizes this or not. But this coin (either through a bug or on purpose) has been nearly mined out. The difficulty appear to be set at 1024 and does not change. As a result, blocks are being found about every second instead of every minute.

That is what happens when you release a SHA-256 coin without proper diff adjustment in today's world full of 2TH miners.

This coin is crap. Diff adjustment algo is busted, wallet throws errors half the time when you send large transactions. Wallet does not report network hashrate so there's no way you can tell how many people are mining. The big 10,000-coin blocks are gone, block rewards are something tiny now like 156 coins per block.

The dev owns many, many millions of these coins from weeks (months?) ago when he offered to buy everyone's supply at some ridiculously low price in QRK. Now he is trying to re-ignite the coin so he can dump his acquired at 100x profit.

hi guys.i got a guy over in cyptocointalk bagging this coin claiming it to be a scam and all.just false misleading dribble he is carrying on with.i gave away 7million LGBT coins over there yesterday.im am done with him but if someone else wants to reply to his dribble here the link.really annoying he is trying to bash this coin up.

The rainbowcoin source is completely unusable - it was NEVER written to be used in linux. The binary compiles as "bitcoind" and even when we rename that, there is no configuration directory. The blockchain tries to download into the wallet's home directory.

I understand there is a precompiled wallet - but we need source code we can verify, and compile it ourselves.

for those who have issues with the LINUX client

singleblade.info/leveldb.zip

here is the leveldb folder just update the git repo with that folder and everything builds fine. If any error do make clean -f makefile.unix

may also have to
cd Rainbowcoin/src/leveldb
sudo chmod +x build_detect_platform

Well the coin finally builds on Debian, but will not sync no matter what sorcery I try. Really, really shitty source code. Needs a complete do-over.

EDIT: After a fresh compile, it shows 0 connections but says it is syncing. Add the config file above and immediately get "No block source available."

I have not been able to find any news lately, were the wallet issues ever fixed? I still have a few of these in cold storage, but seems like the chain would fork every time I threw any mining power at it.
