Title: trouble getting a tesla k10 online with cudaminer Post by: wuzamarine on February 15, 2014, 11:03:52 PM I am able to download and install the video nvidia driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-331.38.run , but cudaminer still fails with "Unable to query CUDA driver version! Is an nVidia driver installed?" If I try and install the cuda driver by its self, I fail with -> http://bpaste.net/show/p05x0p0zanBaXUPa3rmL/
even sgminer is unable to see my graphics gpu: sgminer -o stratum+tcp://mine.validerrorpool.com:3340 -u tunage -p 1 -q FATAL: Module nvidia_current not found. Title: Re: trouble getting a tesla k10 online with cudaminer Post by: Wipeout2097 on February 16, 2014, 12:14:22 AM the problem isn't cudaminer related. it seems an Ubuntu problem. Perhaps you must download Tesla drivers, not generic videocard ones.
I had better experience with Mint or Suse than I ever had with Ubuntu. Does it work on Windows? Title: Re: trouble getting a tesla k10 online with cudaminer Post by: wuzamarine on February 16, 2014, 12:53:54 AM The drivers are from nvidia directly https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-downloads (which doesn't work) and http://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/72250/en-us (which does install, but useless to cudaminer).
I wouldn't touch windows. Title: Re: trouble getting a tesla k10 online with cudaminer Post by: Wipeout2097 on February 16, 2014, 01:01:20 AM Good luck, then.
