Title: Revealing forum cheaters Post by: Diacris on July 16, 2018, 03:07:06 PM Hi fellow bitcointalk users. I've spotted several accounts that share merit between them to grow their accounts to rank of "member" and I want to expose them so the mods of this forum have their take and judge. Right now the account the was helped is named "always1337"
Here are the accounts that: http://prntscr.com/k73mp9 But these particularly 3 are very similar and have joined the same signature campaign, were created at the same time and sent merit with no exceptionally reason. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1234007 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1236179 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1236244 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3070548.msg31636552#msg31636552 This is the thread they used to power up the user "always1337" No way ever would such a worthless thread receive 10 points of merit. They're clearly trying to pump up accounts without providing any value, which defies the purpose of these points to prevent the forum from getting spammed Title: Re: Revealing forum cheaters Post by: SFR10 on July 16, 2018, 03:42:23 PM I believe (firmly) that those accounts are connected but DT1/2 members, usually refuse to leave ratings unless there's enough evidence that connects them (ex. Address connections and etc...).
But these particularly 3 are very similar and have joined the same signature campaign, were created at the same time and sent merit with no exceptionally reason. Most likely the following accounts, are connected as well (creation date - there might be some other connections as well):https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1234007 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1236179 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1236244 - billykannithi (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1162097) Quote Date Registered: September 20, 2017, 12:38:42 PM - roshanfious (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1162094) Quote Date Registered: September 20, 2017, 12:37:56 PM - bayupermana (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1162102) Quote Date Registered: September 20, 2017, 12:39:45 PM - fadlyzuld (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1162240) Quote Date Registered: September 20, 2017, 01:53:36 PM Title: Re: Revealing forum cheaters Post by: Diacris on July 16, 2018, 03:50:52 PM I believe (firmly) that those accounts are connected but DT1/2 members, usually refuse to leave ratings unless there's enough evidence that connects them (ex. For me, just the fact that somebody that merely opened a meaningless thread received 10 points is outrageous, and for that I consider was worthful to list them out in this thread. |
