Did you make a deposit or a withdrawal to Mt.Gox? We see that you made a deposit of 0.02 BTC to your Mt.Gox account on Mon 03 Oct 2011 01:23:50 PM JST. Title: Re: mtgox: 0.02 bitcoin missed Post by: qikaifu on October 05, 2011, 10:35:27 AM No, withdraw. Because I'm going to pay somebody else 0.02BTC. and the picture was a PrtSc of my Account History. Though it doesn't really matter 0.02BTC, but I guess there must be something wrong happened. It never happened to me before when using mtgox as a e-wallet.

They have a ticket-based support system. You can open a ticket here: - https://support.mtgox.com/anonymous_requests/new Title: Re: mtgox: 0.02 bitcoin missed Post by: qikaifu on October 05, 2011, 11:13:19 AM And there is not a transaction on Mon 03 Oct 2011 01:23:50 PM JST

That would be the transaction in your supposed screenshot. Title: Re: mtgox: 0.02 bitcoin missed Post by: worldinacoin on October 05, 2011, 01:56:10 PM Seems to me a good idea using mtgox as an e-wallet, is there any thing we should watch out for, for instance not to transact too many times?
Title: Re: mtgox: 0.02 bitcoin missed Post by: qikaifu on October 05, 2011, 05:12:03 PM I already paid my friend through Mtgox redeemable code. And I wish mtgox looks into this question.
The money is a such a small amount, I'm not angry at all. And Mtgox just send me a free Yubikey, and I really appreciate that, and feel Mtgox has the willing to invest in the future of bitcoin economy. but just worried about what's wrong with mtgox's back end. Title: Re: mtgox: 0.02 bitcoin missed Post by: Maged on October 05, 2011, 05:24:13 PM Was that address a MtGox address? If so (and it looks like it very well could be with how fast the coins are re-spent), it wouldn't be sent through the Bitcoin network. Are you sure that your friend didn't end up receiving the funds after all?
Title: Re: mtgox: 0.02 bitcoin missed Post by: qikaifu on October 05, 2011, 05:29:28 PM wow, If mtgox do it this way, which is really efficient, I will just check with my friend. I guess it's the very possible explanation.
thanks! P.S If so, the Mtgox act as a trusted third party, maybe they should give the payer something can be used as evidence as payment-made, like a (mtgox address) in the account history. I guess it's only several lines of coding, right? |
