Title: Some help
Post by: TUMAS on July 17, 2018, 07:31:29 AM
Guys help me out here to understand.

So I bought BTC at 6200 and its now almost 6700. Now should I sell it and go to USTD, or go for something like XRP/BTC or ZRX/BTC?

I won't sell Bitcoin, you have to know that Bitcoin is up to $20,000. A little bit of your current rise is simply insignificant. If you want to invest in other altcoins, it is best to use other funds. Do not sell bitcoin.

Mate its up to you if you want to hold or sale, but the best way is if you dont want to lose just sale it in high price in stablecoin like usdt then buy back in low price just do it if you want a profit but if you are a long term holder just buy some altcoin.

For now, it may be better to keep holding bitcoin.
Because most altcoin is still in a downward trend, the capital amount of the whole market is insufficient.

If you just jump in to crypto is better hold that BTC until in the end of this year because many expert predict bull run of Bitcoin will coming soon.  Many expert predict the price of BTC can be going to $50K to $60K in last of this year.  And this prediction according to many good news coming like bitcoin  ETF in August and Coinbase add more new coin. The current  price of BTC in the bottomed base on technical analysis,  so big probability will going up again to more than 3 times.

At least wait till the price reach 7k USD.  I don't believe the price will reach 20k, because even when it reach 10k again everybody will dump and the price will go down again.

If I were in your shoes (and I hope we have the same size and same brand I prefer Adidas) I would wait for some months before selling the Bitcoin unless of course you are into trading which can be a different story. I know that these days holding on may not be the best route for a profitable cryptocurrency experience but make an exception with Bitcoin. I can feel that Bitcoin is just looking for some reasons before making a big breakout or a big bull run and everybody in the Bitcoin community has been waiting for this to happen soon. Having said that, I have to warned you that am not a good seer of things and just like you I also committed many many blunders in my cryptocurrency adventure. Therefore, good luck to all of us.

At this time you should keep it . The reason of that is it’s gonna grow and grow. You just need to be patient and your patience will reward you big time! And don’t trade it nowhere you gonna regret if you do that!

Well, a little price increase won't give you a bigger profit. Just a small increase from your initial investment. Especially if the amount you invested is not that huge. My suggestion for you is to hold on for a little while and then sell when it reaches its peak. If you want to invest in other coins, I think it is better off coming from other sources of funds instead of your BTC.

Currently, I will advise you to hold bitcoin, do not sell it - the price is sure to increase . At least until the end of the year you need to wait with the sale .

Hold Bitcoin, go to USDT or go to Altcoins it's up to you. You just need to understand that the best decision is a decision made based on your observations but, you also need to understand that there is a proverb about " Don't put all your eggs in one basket ".

Never try to convert your money to the XRP because it's a shit coin and even coinbase doesn't having any attention to add ripple consider it's a crap token. It will much better to invest in the ZRX but i could suggest you to convert your bitcoin to the USDT if you can do that because it gives the more guarantee for your profit.

better to hold on your BTC, but if you still want to buy altcoin you can do research on them first, don't rush when you want to invest in altcoin, and never put all of your money on altcoin if it crash it crash hard, and quick. Moreover if you are still new in this crypto world, my advice is learn more first about any altcoin you want to put your money on, before you put any money on them.

It depends on your strategy & what you want.
If you sell BTC for USD now, your profit is fixed at $500 (6700- 6200)
If you use BTC to buy XRP..., then its price may increase of decrease => You can get more or less profit.

Depends on what you want. If you go to usdt, then you will earn the difference between buying and selling. If you go to altcoin, then pay attention to the cost of altcoin at the time of buying bitcoin at 6200 (maybe at that time ZRX cost 0.000134 and now 0.000167). This way you will get fewer coins than a few days ago.

analysis is essential, so you should try to do it. and I still believe bitcoin will still grow to 10% in this growth, you can still hold it.
but if you want to sell it, you can do a short trade. there are many ways but I think experience will play an important role in every speculation.

BTC might have seen a dip in early quarter of 2018 however, its recovering faster than before. It would be wise to buy ALTcoins using fiat currency and wait for BTC price to go up again.

Title: Re: Some help

Bitcoin is from the very beginning dominating the crypto industry. So, despite having some price decrease, it will surely dominate once again by its price, I think. Hence, my perception is not to sell BTC if it is not at $20000 rather you may buy some BTC whenever the market is at a low ebb.

Title: Re: Some help

If you have good technical analysis you should try to increase your Bitcoin number. Currently, all altcoins are affected by the price increase or decrease of bitcoin. So keeping Bitcoin is the safest in my opinion. Bitcoin can increase sharply but I'm not sure the exact time. I expect strong growth for the market by the end of 2018.

Title: Re: Some help

I think that was a good price to buy at, 6200.  I would leave that bitcoin alone and wait for the next dip and then buy one more bitcoin if you can and then use that as your trading coin to try to move in and out.  In my opinion, this is a sector that you should hodl some coins with bitcoin being the first that you hodl.  You should diversify and have a strategy for active trading as well as holding long term certain coins.  This is not financial advice, i'm not a financial advisor... just my opinion.

Not, sell all you BTC to buy altcoins is not good idea, because when BTC will grow, altcoins like XRP or ZRX are down, everyone is selling alts to buy BTC and catch a growth. So it is not smart decision enough I guess.

BTC have a potentiality which is why the price is slowly building up. It would be wise to buy ALTcoins if you want to exchange, although paitence is always key. The initiation is not how quickly you exchange between currencies. Looking at the trend, Bitcoin seems to be growing, so my advice is wait up until it hits the 7000 mark, than exchange if better currencies seem to have a faster rate of growth.

Based on your question, it sounds like you prefer trading than holding. If you are planning to multiply the number of your bitcoin, the best trading pair is USDT so that you will be able to minimize your losses when the market gets down. You better trade your funds to a stable coin if you choose to be a day trader or swing trader.

No need to worry about it OP.

Bitcoin is now worth $8,200 so you don't have to worry about it. You can now sell as you wish to do so before when you see dropping. But I wish that you never listened to other suggestions that wanted you to sell bitcoin and invest to those altcoins.

Only if you are quite patient, you're smiling probably now.

You need HOLD bitcoin now due to the latest news. The current situation with government regulation suggests that bitcoin-ETF, that is, traded funds, will soon become a legitimate asset class. This, of course, will lead to a sharp increase in the rate of the Crypto currency.Interest in ETF among the crypto-enthusiasts is growing, and, probably, the matter is primarily in greed - the appearance of such funds will inevitably affect the cost of bitcoin and make it a more legitimate means of storing capital, as well as a means of exchange.Any economist will say that when the supply is already low and the demand grows, the price soars.

You were confused to sell when bitcoin price was 6700 USD With 500 USD Profit from your investment. I don't know you sold or not if you haven't sold then try to take a lesson from it that bitcoin price hit 8200 USD After 5-6 days later of your this post!

I wouldn't advise that you sell your bitcoins for any reason. Bitcoin price is going to increase way higher than what it is now, and it is not something that you would want to miss out on. So hodl your BTC, then maybe invest other funds on your altcoins. That's a way better option.

6200$ is a good price to buy and hold. The market will not come down to $ 6200 early. So just keep it and wait for this August. Bitcoin can go up 10,000$ if good news comes to the market. Especially ETF news

If you will take this advice of mine, it will help you then. I will not advice you to sell now. hold you BTC. but if you will sell, sell little quantity and look out for a good project to invest on. Remember to do research yourself before investing on any project, never follow all these hyping of projects because most of them are deceitful. I wish you happy investment return.

Title: Re: Some help

6200 Was a good price to buy, worth holding.  But perhaps not all, you could sell some and try to make up the amount sold, by trading the ups and downs with your BTC.
Just buying some alts won't do, use the graphs to check your entry point compared to the graphs of the Alts you are interested in.  Might be that that value has just moved with the BTC-price.  It would't be such an increase of your portfolio, but maybe there are Alts that have decreased in that period, they might be worth just a small part of your BTC to invest in.
But in the long run your BTC will rise more probably, which is a certain gain, might even be impossible to buy again at the price you sell:).

It depends on you mate if you may trade to other currency to be hold or just sell into usdt. But that increase of bitcoin is too low mate to say that you gain a profit especially if you bought bitcoin with a small quantity.

Well, Bitcoin is actually very great for holding. If you only get around that amount of the profits, I suggest you to hold the coins. Wait for some months later at least in this year end when the price is higher. But after higher, save some of your money to buy the bitcoin again when the price is dropped. You can also use the money to buy some promising altcoins.

Guys help me out here to understand.

So I bought BTC at 6200 and its now almost 6700. Now should I sell it and go to USTD, or go for something like XRP/BTC or ZRX/BTC?

Oh come on, what do you think about investing in bitcoin? Do you know how's huge potential of bitcoin? 6200 up to 6700 is a simple increased and  there's a big possibility that it may reach an expensive price in the next few months. But of course it is up to you if you want to convert just do, make your own decision.

If you have not sold your bitcoins so far, now is the time to do it and transfer your funds to USDT, because in the near future it is expected to reduce the cost of bitcoin to at least $ 7200 and a maximum of $ 5600

Firmly holding BTC, BTC still has a bright future. ;D
At present, BTC is at a very low price, so it only needs to keep holding.

But I will not sell Bitcoin at all at your place, because growth will not stop there. Ripples in any case do not take now with him is not at all clear what will happen.

The feeling alone is so good when you hold some BTC in your wallet. The King of coins can experience a very high rise to surprise you. I won't exchange it for any other alts. To me is the final destination.

In the current period of time, the growth of the purchased asset can be considered a great success, so the money should be withdrawn and saved.

I don't think that your decision of selling was titally right. I mean that if you are holding BTC, do not change it and just wait for its better times there.

You bought bitcoin at a very good price. I'm sure if you're willing to wait a few months then you can make a good profit. My advice is leave bitcoin. I am sure that by the end of the year the price will rise very much. Therefore, it is not necessary to sell bitcoin for usdt.

I agree, there is no point in selling bitcoin now at a small price, because by the end of the year the prices will definitely increase and if you sell now, you will miss the opportunity to earn.

just hold it for now. It's a good sign that Bitcoin is getting stronger in the market.

You have to decide how are you going to approach the whole crypto investment thing.

- Are you going to trade regularly? Daily? Do you have any skills in trading? If you don't you'll get rekt. Learn some things before you start trading. TA, FA, indicators... so much good and free stuff all around the web. But you'll still get rekt even after that, it just takes time to do things right.
- Are you going to hold? Don't be dumb, just holding through market cycles gets people rekt as well. Try to spot at least the major market cycles, sell near the top, buy again a few months later. Repeat.
- How much do you want to earn? Are you happy with 10%? Go with steady coins, huge market cap, they don't oscillate as much as some others. Go bitcoin, go ethereum if you think it's in bull market. Wait if you think we're still in a bear market.
- You didn't invest to earn 10%? You want 10x. Or 100x. Go with some small caps no one have heard of. They aren't even on coinmarketcap yet. It's much more risky though so be ready to lose all. Search this forum, everything's in here.

Get some of these things clear first and you'll do much better. But still probably get rekt :) Don't give up. Stay in crypto. The next market cycle, you'll get rekt again. Don't give up. The next cycle, you'll figure it out. The next one, it might work out smoothly ;) Invest time in skills. Get free coins on airdrops if that's of any meaning to you financially. And you'll be good. Cheers!

I'm not a super expert but I've seen an analyst predict the fall of bitcoin to three thousand dollars. Maybe now you need to sell and then buy again.

According to available information, on the past day, someone has transferred to his purse at the Binance Exchange 11500 bitcoins in three installments. Most likely, there will be a sale for the purpose of a strong collapse of the cost of bitcoin. Therefore, whoever has not managed to sell bitcoins at the current price, he must hurry!

I suggest you to sell a part of it and to continue holding, this strategy will minimize your losses and you will get confident profits from this doing.

My suggestion to you is do not sell your bitcoin at this low price in the market, if you want to earn a little just buy other legit coins and look at the market price monitoring if it is better to sell or not, but do not sell your bitcoin..

The best decision to take about your fund depends on you because you own it but I think you should still hold and for a while until the price gets higher and then you will be able to make reasonable profit.

I think that idea about Tether is the best. But you should follow plice very often and sell/buy BTC again. This is one of a good strategies of trading.

It is entirely up to you if you sell it or not. If you want to hodl it long term and believe that bitcoin will boom then it is your choice.

Once you sell you have nothing to catch new rises. Only sell if you are sure that you´ve made enough profit for your goals and you are sure that the price is going to lower in the near future.

If you have good amount of bitcoin, then you can sell it and get profits easily...If I'm on your situation, I will not sell with that price I should wait for the best price to come. You just need patient in this situation.
