So help me understand - based on the 30 and 60 percent splits listed above, it is a total of 90 percent masternodes, and I'm assuming the rest is PoW? Also if that's the case how does the ICO work. Is the ICO for an initial amount of tokens, then on launch we switch to PoW and Masternodes?

The remaining 10% is split between service masternodes in addition to fees collected from usage

This refers to fiat currency, which is supported by all world governments. This should not be misconstrued with believing that Vantum is sponsored by any government.

5k for standard masternode

Thinking about it some more, the fact that you can use multiple currencies to pay is also a very attractive one. Personally, i would rather spend litecoin or ethereum, as Bitcoin is something that should be kept for as long as possible

This is exactly why bitcoin and other speculative cryptocurrencies will always have trouble competing with fiat as transactional currency. No one wants to be the guy that spent 10k bitcoin on a pizza.

Crypto has to co-operate with fiat, not compete

Vantum is an interesting project and hopefully we be a successful project as crypto needs something like this for crypto to achieve mainstream adoption. I can see Vantum being one of the top projects in crypto if the team can deliver. Looking forward to the pre-sale starting tomorrow.

I have read the complete thread and checked the website, this project seems to be very interesting. They have a very unique idea and I believe that they will get a great attention for the peoples.

This isn't the bounty thread, and we are not running a bounty translation component in any case.

The more I look at what this project has to offer the more I like it. I'm waiting to see the dev team posted on August 10th which should then give more people confidence in buying into this project. From what I am seeing in their discord the team are active and answering all questions people have. I'm looking forward to this being launched!

Very interesting project! I am happy to see another utility coin with masternodes , those "next Bitcoin" project that are now live are killing all the sentiment on market , people only lose money , even if ROI is +1k%.... lol

I must say fiat relays are big thing among with reward system. :o Do you plan more currencies than $USD ?

Difference between standard and premium is that premium nodes receive 60% of Masternode block rewards + tx fees from services rendered by the node (storage & content), whereas Standard nodes simply receive 30% of Masternode Block reward.


Standard Masternodes: 5k
Premium Masternodes: 15k

The MainNet will launch initially with Standard Masternodes only which will receive total Masternode rewards of VNT per block.

Service and Premium Nodes will be rolled out in Q1 2019

I agree many projects dont bring the proper return. As investors ourselves we know this better than most.

Can you help me understand how is VantX connected with price of VNT in future ?

To keep it simple for now, upon launch of mainnet the masternode block reward will be 4VNT.

Total block reward is 12VNT:

Miners: 8VNT
Masternode: 4VNT

The only masternode available on launch will be the standard nodes for 5k VNT collateral.

After that premium, and services nodes will come online Q1 2019, and will split block reward + earn fees from usage

That will give it a real boost, They are using some different strategy.

Target exchanges are cryptopia and kucoin after coin sale. They arent guaranteed obviously but those are the two we have set in our sights

I really like this strategy you guys are using. We need a good long term sustainable coin which Vantum looks to be.

I also like that the dev team are looking to list on a couple of well know exchanges unlike most new projects that just try and list on CryptoBridge. If Vantum can do it different then most other new projects, then it will help go a long way to being a successful project.

Yup, I put this project on my watchlist but it is extremely impossible to consider anything legitimate, let alone investable, without a whitepaper... I'm not sure how I feel about a project launching pre-sales without a WP  ???

Exactly why we discounted tier1 so heavily (70%), we realize there isn't much to go off early on so we adjusted the risk/reward accordingly with 1ETH=2000VNT. Over the next two weeks just before tier2 begins, there will be quite alot released, including team, whitepaper, a huge decrease in blocktime and halving event changes on mainnet launch.

Mainnet launches during in september, and thus risk/reward ratio will be adjusted accordingly then also with 1ETH = 600VNT for the main sale.

I do not think that government sponsors any ICO, especially that too open.

But this project is really unique I believe it has a real potential.

I have a couple of nodes ready for when this token becomes its own blockchain and the swap is complete. I'm really looking forward to running my Vantume nodes and a couple of guys I know are looking forward to mining Vantum once it becomes mine-able. So far I think the team have done a great job and lets hope they can deliver on what they have planned in their whitepaper/roadmap.

The purpose of Vantum is not to simply create a better cryptocurrency, but to create a more useful blockchain that developers can utilize to build applications that bridge the gap between mainstream fiat transactions and the faster, more secure, cryptocurrency.

That's right and if the Vantum team can deliver on this then this project could rival some of the top projects in the top 50 cryptocurrencies. From what I have seen, no other project has been able to achieve what Vantum is trying to achieve so I'm very interested to see if they can and I'm willing to take the chance with them which is why I got a couple of nodes ready for the swap in November to their own blockchain.

The Vantum difference is that we don't seek to build a "better" crypto. We seek to build the best solution to real-world needs and market desires.
