Why people still believe that Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is better than Bitcoin (BTC)?
We know that BCH came from BTC forking, why should we believe that the duplicate one is better than the one created from scratch?

What do you guys think?

There was no differences between bitcoin cash and bitcoin blockstream, the transaction fees is almost same if you are trying to create a comparison between them. Only those have a lot of bitcast were shilling it anytime. Remember when Roger and Jihan was shilling for hard for the bitcoin cash and then both are attacking and FUD the bitcoin anytime. Totally fail coin.

Nothing is better than Bitcoin, no other cryptos. 10 years of bulletproof security is behind Bitcoin and no forks will ever achieve that since they are all younger than Bitcoin. Brand itself is just huge and IMO Bitcoin Cash should not be using "Bitcoin" in their name, it's just lame like all the big guys behind BCH that support it (Ver, Fake Satoshie and other criminals...).

So you think that Bitcoin Cash was founded by them who want to take Bitcoin down? and you also think BCH is a fail coin and isn't better than Bitcoin?

Of course, bitcoin! This is the crypto currency that has amazed the whole world and continues to do it! It is obvious so far that other cryptocurrencies are absolutely out of competition

No coin is better than Bitcoin at this time. BCH is the same. Bitcoin was developed 10 years ago and it still stands at number 1. It means that the security it brings is excellent with crypto.

I think, they trust in BCH just because they have bought it once.
And they have no other choice now. Yes, perhaps BCH is more technological than BTC. But BTC is stabler, you agree?

believing is not the same as saying you believe.
people say they believe that BCH is better than bitcoin because they want you to believe in it so that you buy it and then they make profit from your purchase.

Bitcoin definitely! Dont know where you got the idea otherwise. Maybe its time we dispensed with the comparisons and just appreciated each coin at face value, and recommended accordingly.

As a trader, i dont have issue with BTC, BCH and other altcoins, even people said that it's a shitcoin. I dont care as long as i can take profit from trading. But it's different when i become a hodler or investors, I should choose carefully which is good and which is bad.

Actually it depends on the investment strategies.  Now traders depends on BCH to invest more rather than BTC because of costs. But in case of popularity, I think BTC is still more popular rather than any crypto.

So why is the price so high?
It's simple, market manipulation.
If you were around at the end of last year, you should have remembered that BCH had stayed around 400 to 500 dollars for the longest time and then in one short week shot all the way up to $1400.
This was a coordinated market manipulation tactic by the bch devs and a group of whales.
They even went so far as coordinating a media attack to using social media and fake accounts to spread the news that "BCH will replace btc".

Sound like something that is"better"? Nah, I wouldn't use that word.

Bitcoin wins hands down vs Bitcoin Cash.  BC feels cheap and I don't see it being adopted at very many places.  I have asked some of the places I make purchases with crypto if they accept bitcoin cash and the answer is always we only take Bitcon and Ethereum.

BtC is better than all I think because the price of BTC is better than everything .. hopefully many investors will invest in it so will make BTC best coin number one

They are deceiving the people that newly come to bitcoin market just what it is saying on their website.
Don't say "we" instead use "them" for those people that are believing with this fork coin. No matter what they say BCH is just an altcoin and it will never be better than bitcoin.
Don't listen to their statements on how they are degrading bitcoin and shilling their forkcoin.

Because they’ve invested on bitcoin cash since the beginning. They’re being persuaded by those money hungry individuals who wants the fame and money in advertising the bch. They thought of impossible downfall of the original and one and only bitcoin.


I’m no against of forking when is made to improve the system itself, but the intention is suspicious and scammy when you will see the reality and it’s outcome.

I prefer and choose genuine gold instead of fake gold, counterfeit goods will never defeat original goods, like Bitcoin money, Bitcoin cash has value, but its value will not be able to beat Bitcoin, we must be careful and realize it honestly.

This will be a never ending debate on which one is better as long as none of them fails. For me Bitcoin Cash is not better than Bitcoin, and how can a fork coin be better than Bitcoin if it has no uses? while it is still dependent on Bitcoin's growth just like other altcoins. Maybe BCH can handle more transactions per day compared to BTC but Bitcoin developers already have a lot of scaling solutions (Segwit, Lightning Network, Schnorr Signature) that will prove that big block size is not the solution. BCH is useless just like other fork coins. So why some people still believe that BCH is better? It is either they just want to see Bitcoin fail and for people to choose BCH because they think it is better or they are supporters of Roger Ver lol.

I think people may think that BCH has higher block capacity, so the transfer speed is faster, which is why BCH is recognized by people.
But I still like BTC, because BTC can have a lot of bifurcation. ;D

I think something that duplicate can never compete for something that original. we know that btc is the first and most superior coin in the cryptocurrency. and I don't think there's a crypto that can compete it because it will take a long time. btc is still an option for many people because it has good prospects for long-term investment.

The owner is accused of selling bitcoincash in name of bitcoin using similar domains. This affects the reputation of whole crypto community and people start doubting genuine coins as well.

Well, I am quite new here. But as a beginner, I think the Bitcoin is still better. BTC is still more trusted than the BCH. Moreover, the BTC has been being used for some transactions to buy something. About the technology, yeah, BCH or BTC may have small differences and I am sure that they have upsides.

BTC electronic money will be better than btc cash, if btc is converted to physical form probably many people will give up this market, the characteristics of btc is anonymous and does not depend on anyone.

To me, bitcoin is better than bitcoin cash because, bitcoin cash was formed from the initial bitcoin and moreover, it is not even as potential or matured as bitcoin. I choose Bitcoin. The security it provides is unbeatable. I know there are lots of cryptocurrency exist in the market. They are really good but bitcoin will be always my first choice.

The fork coin can be better than original but Bitcoin Cash is not once. I have learnt about Bitcoin Cash before at its first days but i didn't see it's good. Bitcoin is still trusted and secured. Also, we see that more and more stores, E-commerce platforms accept Bitcoin payment.

If we will base it on the technology, Bitcoin Cash has a better technology than Bitcoin, faster transaction speed and lower fees but if we will base it on the adoption and trustworthiness right now, I think Bitcoin has the upper hand. Bitcoin is the first coin in the market so we considered all the cryptocurrencies that made is also called as altcoins. I think bitcoin cash has a potential to be a good promising cryptocurrency because it is on the top 3 in market cap. It was shocking but I think it can overtake ethereum market cap and price in a couple of weeks.

I think both are same almost. But in crypto currency market Bitcoin came first and earn our trust compare to others. So always bitcoin will be the first position. Bitcoin cash has a dark faith. It is doomed to fail. By fail, i don't mean that it will become valueless but will be overtaken by most of the other coins. Has almost all the same features like bitcoin with just more capacity thus has a lower fee. But once the network load will start to increase and the 8 mb block starts to get filled, we will see almost the same fee as bitcoin. Functionality based there is no change, so other altcoins has better chances to take over bitcoin cash due to speed and capacity.

For me personally, bitcoin core is a real bitcoin. Bitcoin cash is a fork, which is all the forces trying to promote Roger Ver and some whales and organizations. Bitcoin Cash is just another fork, altcoin. Bitcoin is still Bitcoin. That is why the Bcash team tries so hard to rename the current Bitcoin as Bitcoin Core. I am not a big fan of BCH, but I have to say that they are doing much better than expected. When the coin was listed almost 5 years back, the majority opinion was that the price per coin would be somewhere around BTC0.02-0.03.

It is definitely difficult to answer this question. Each cryptocurrency has its pros and cons. Bitcoin Cash is an offshoot of Bitcoin Itself, and judging superficially, the original is better.

in my opinion, bitcoin is the best, because every other crypto coin price will follow the increase in bitcoin prices too (if the price of bitcoin rises then other coin prices will increase too).

Well, as a beginner, I think the Bitcoin is still better. BTC is still more trusted than the BCH. Moreover, the BTC has been being used for some transactions to buy something. About the technology, yeah, BCH or BTC may have small differences and I am sure that they have upsides.

Btc is used to be used by a lot of people and Btc Cash is something now for me, to be honest. But I think that Btc has a very promising potential to beat Btc.

BitcoinCash was created only for a quick profit. As you can see BitcoinCash is slowly dying because they failed to expand over the world.

I think currently bitcoin cash has been ignored with many better choices, and the bch rating has not changed especially in this decline. of course this is a simple benchmark, that bitcoin remains the best choice of all time.

bitcoin have been in existence for more than four(4) years before the fork that brought about Bitcoin cahs came into existence. for me i think and would conclude that bitcoin is better than bitcoin cash

I personally believe that bitcoin is far better than bitcoin cash. Am yet to understand the reason for forking bitcoin to establish bitcoin cash. I was thinking it's due to the hike in the transaction fee for miners which was quite expensive Last year. I see bitcoin cash as a mere counterfeit of bitcoin, since it shares same quantity and was distributed based on the quantity of bitcoin held.

Neither provide true global scalability without sidechains. Bitcoin will remain at the top of everyone's list but will not be for micro transactions. There are several projects addressing scalability at the state, compute and storage levels (instead of tacking on second layer solutions to existing networks).

In this comparison Bitcoin is the best choice. Roger's annoying personality alone keeps me away from BCH.

Even if I'm sleeping, I would still choose the coin BTC over bitcoincash. I have never really been a fan if the later, no hard feelings, and probably no good enough reason, but really I would say that bitcoin is by far better than it. I would like to see how the coin would play out in the coming years though.

I do not believe about it. bitcoin is too high when compared to the bitcoin cash. and even this is just a copycat coin only and will never have a chance to make it better than the bitcoin. If indeed some say that bitcoin cash better then it is just mere speculation alone without any clear basis.

Bitcoin cash also has its own advantages but bitcoin is still better. I believe both will develop but bitcoin is still the number 1 investment option at the moment.

Probably everyone has opted for BTC, maybe there is a small group of people who have their assets in BCH so they say they would have opted for BCH to increase interest in BCH but it's all vain because people understand that BCH is an empty place.

Bitcoin is better than Bitcoin Cash for sure. Bitcoin is the Father all crypto currencies and it has made name for itself and is widely accepted by the crypto community.

Obviously BTC is the superior chain, with malleability fix (segwit) and Lightning Network transactions. It'll help spread the already biggest adoption in crypto. Everything about it pretty much is better there including the variety of developers, size of userbase, general safety and innovation.


BCH tries to scale the old-fashioned way, constantly increasing the blocksize, but it has way more problems. There aren't many users there, mining is way more centralised, Coingeek and Bitcoin ABC having fork-wars and threats from both sides.
Bitmain is also a huge factor there, having converted a ton of their BTC to BCH, they're now stuck with an asset that's worth a lot less, risking bankruptcy.

In my opinion Bitcoin Cash is actually the best one but Bitcoin will improve own performance so it is difficult to say nowdays.

Most people who believe in BCH are because they see that BCH has a very strong team and operators who want to profit from BCH!

Duplicate is better solely due to the inclusion of the enhanced qualities of classic Bitcoin. But Bitcoin, thanks to pure code, is better than BCH. This is confirmed by the public and the capitalization of the coin.

I do not believe the fork, my opinion better than the original, albeit with problems. The developers just trying to make more money on someone else's idea, now, was the fashion for forks and I think more of them will not be created if there is a good idea, so create a new project and come out on ICO.

i think bitcoin is still better than any altcoin in value because bitcoin itself is the first coin and the other is just an "alternate" coin, in my opinion bitcoin is too high to compared with bch or any other altcoin.

They'll say that because they make an big investment in bitcoin Cash rather than bitcoin. Its seem they had test it hoping for the bull run market coming bitcoin cash. And if you just notice of these both coin they're almost has the same feature.

In my opinion, if we talk about stability, the advantage of Bitcoin. It's like blue chips in stocks. Everyone knows about them, anyone can buy and get at least a small but stable profit. It's a less risky investment.

Bitcoins is still the king and the most relevant crytpo to hold than any prototype of bitcoins which is just competing with it. Bitcoin Cash as like by many people still is not comparable to bitcoins in terms of volume and liquidity.
