Any rules against shilling?

Content on CoinScribble is uncensored. However, users can downvote any content they do not feel provides value.

At some point it's good for "hiring free" people to publish/copy articles on your website. But you may know there are a lot of shit ICO/Bounties, one of them already posted in your thread, imagine what will happen on your website. Downvote isn't solution too, someone may abusr it and in any way you need team who will check every news.
You need to improve your template and make it nicer, wish you success.

A great project, but the interface is too bad. You should redo the web interface, as it is very necessary. Add some functions such as rating articles, filter negative posts

I think the website design is still very basic and looks rather unprofessional. You need a catching theme, and there are a lot of news themes easy customizable and good looking.

the website is very cool..it doesn't have good ranking yet. but I can see it have a good potential to grow.one thing I must say. I saw it's already being used by bounty spammers to post their shit quality contents and join bounties. I think this thing should be stopped. it must have a quality.

Community-driven sounds good, but the way it looks at the moment, none or few from the community is interested in really ensuring your quality is up to par with the rest of the other visibility projects. That guys like Coinspectator have partnered up with you is a good thing, assuming they also still maintain their own monitoring of crypto news quality, but looking on your homepage now, the top 2 scribbles are about some altcoin project I've never heard about - under News, only 1 scribble I would qualify as News... Those thumbs down aren't really working to push actual news up?

Thanks for the well thought out response. With regards to the "News" section on the homepage, that is ordered by recency rather than voting. The voting algorithm has just been upgraded to better reflect the sentiment of the community. It will take some time for the effects of the change to be accurately displayed.

Been a month or so since I visited and have got to say, this has improved quite some distance from when I last saw it. Much better looking layout for some reason. Maybe just more content. Good hit on 1 mill views, where are most of the traffic going to? Curious because trending and first articles scrolling down still mainly projects I've never heard of with a handful of likes each.

Took the quiz (on crypto). Got Charles Hoskinson wrong but then again I know next to nothing about Cardano. You sure the 1st question is accurate though? First to say not sure much about origins but Buterin is only a co-founder.

Our content is now indexed on Google News. Google News has strict standards so not all CoinScribble-created content is eligible for indexing unfortunately. That being said, the reach of CoinScribble has never been greater and we are happy to have everyone on board.

Honestly free content hosting platforms for crypto haven't been performing well at all. They start well and then it later becomes a hub for spam and useless posts. I hope Coinscribble lives up to its standard. Good luck!

Relying fully on upvote/downvote system does not look good choice. Better to check articles manually when they hit 1000 upvotes/downvotes just to avoid paid shill.

PS:You have done a good job , a very simple but elegant website and I am impressed by your overall work and thought process.

If you take a look at our content sorted by newest you will see a ton of spam. As you pointed out, that is an inevitable occurrence in any site with user-submitted content. However, the front page of our site, which is algorithmically screened and sorted, shows only valuable content. We update our voting and display algorithms very frequently to avoid this exact phenomenon and will continue to do so to ensure that our viewers see content that is valuable.

I'll try to address your comment point by point.

CoinScribble, by nature, is anonymous. This is a big factor in differentiating CoinScribble from other sites like Steemit or Medium. Authors that wish to claim their work include their information within the article.

For clarification, that 1 million number (which is actually closer to 2 million now) is the reach of our entire distribution network, not just CoinScribble.com. If you were to post on CoinScribble, your content would be immediately shared to all of the sites in our partner network (list of sites here (https://coinscribble.com/about/)). This number also doesn't include the reach of Google News which some (but not all) CoinScribble content is also distributed by.

Steemit is currently governed by bid bots and I have no idea of Medium but definitely it is not crypto dedicated.So some good blog site dedicated to crypto giving amateur writer  some exposure is good. Till then author can claim authorship in article but if you give profile then any body can see list of all article of author in one go.
