I posted my Merit giveaway for Jr. Member having more than 100 activity and 0 merits.

I posted in Offtopic to prevent it from unnecessary signature spamming (as nobody count the post in Offtopic ) but I am not sure how many people visit that section generally, so making a awareness thread in this board also.

Very good idea to ask some questions ;-) Maybe you should have a look at the posting history, too. Most of the Jr. with 100+ activity and no single merit are "great project, sir!" posters ...

What is the benefit of merit. How can I get merits?

Merit is one of two components that measure a Bitcointalk forum member's participation. The other component is "Activity". And Activity and Merit combined drive what rank one achieves at this forum. You need to reach milestones with each metric to achieve each new rank level.

If you search "Merit" on this forum you'll find plenty of information.

Post some original and meaningful articles, or reply to help others, so maybe you can get merit.

You can check my post history and see how it stimulate your fingers to tap the keyboard and give me merits.

By the way, I don't know why you have such inclusive criteria for your merit giveaway contest.
100 activities and no merit will be accepted to join the contest. Why not all members have rights to join it as long as they think of their posts are constructive enough to ask for joining?

You need to write good posts if you want to earn merit.

Never need any single merits to be Jr. member. You just need 30 plus activities.
When anyone will be Jr. Member then he need to gain merit. Without merit he/She can't promote his/her rank on here.

Only quality post & content can help anyone to achieve merits.
So as a newbie i think only learning is the choice for newbie  there is no other choice for all newbie.

That's why I do not want to look at their post history, If they have posted something good till now, then they have already got some Merits.

My intent is very simple, These 5 question will help them to introspect and make them understand the forum in much better way.
I will feel more happy  if my challenge can give right direction to someone.


Seriously, You become so sure that you will not get any Merit till you reach 100 activity?  Do not wait to reach to get 100+ activity and make your purpose of stay in this forum meaningful.


This criteria is to help those people that are generally considered as shitposters bountyhunters  here. Sometime people need a push in right directions and afterwards they do wonders.

I think only JetCash has put efforts for creating "Fittotalk board and his other initiatives. (He invited all but they will be more benefited) otherwise majority of forum detest them.

In order to rank up you will be needing to acquire minimum 10 merits to become a Member Rank. Regarding how to get merits there are various ways to acquire it. You can post quality articles that might help other members here in the forum, you can also try to report some merit abuser or bounty farming. I suggest you must stay and be observant about the forum and when you have enough knowledge maybe then you can answer and help other people here who are in need.

merits help upgrade account at high rank. To have the merit you need to actively contribute articles accurate and useful for everyone on the bitcointalk forum. good luck.

It has 3 pages comment at most, people joined and answer the que,  it's just I feel I'm making a spam when I answer it again since many have been get the answer correctly...

This is good.But i have to wait untill 100 Posts.English is not my native language,also my local language is not on Bitcointalk forum.Do you know how to earn Merit people like us.?

I wonder why you think is because of signature spamming. If you want to offer merit, then use it for what is was really meant to be on this forum but not to play with.

It just a horrible experience to me that a Jr. Member with 100 activity but no merits....

You should give emphasis  to your post content quality. Without quality posting you can't earn any single merit.

Your questions seem too easy. You can try to give harder questions about blockchain, crypto knowledge, technical.

Your idea is good but I think it's not feasible, myself is jr, and before i do not have the points, i just post in the reward, the problem is jr no merit very rarely Work in other sections besides bounty

I want to know if the rankings are deducted for errors like spam or something else?

You are asking about the demotion in ranking ....there is no  such system in the forum till now.

How long do I need to work and to be promoted to the Member rankings?
