Title: Binance: bought coin with ETH then USDT : coin disappear
Post by: lucette2.0 on July 20, 2018, 07:55:49 AM
Hello,

Few months ago, on binance I bought a coin with ETH

I saw the coin in my portfolio

Recently I bought the same coin but with USDT the I sold the coin in order to have USDT

But the quantity of the coin I bought with ETH disappear from my portfolio

I don’t understand

Could you please help me understand cuz I thought as the pairing was different (ETH then USDT)

I would keep my position of the coin that I paired with ETH

what was the name of the coin?

the only reason I can think of that a coin disappears from your account is that if the exchange delisted this coin and threw away all the balances that you had. so check the news and your email to see if this coin you had was removed from Binance or not.

if it weren't then you can always go through your history and see what you did with it. maybe you sold it and now you have forgotten, or maybe your account was compromised in which case seeing your trading history and withdrawal history should clarify things for you.

If it's not what @Pursuer mentioned, then maybe it has something to do with the server again? Same thing happened before, see this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/binance/comments/8bqvw7/coins_disappeared_last_night/
https://www.reddit.com/r/BinanceExchange/comments/8bq1is/coins_disappeared/

Contact the support after checking all the histories and waiting for some time, but still unsolved.

Does the market still exit for that ETH/coin pair you remember trading? Does your wallet also still exist? If they don't then Pursuer's guess is probably the most likely. If they do... then yeah, check your history to see if any withdrawals were made.

I don't recall Binance delisting anything recently, but that's probably what happened - most likely. Take it up with their support.

(would be great if you shared the name of the coin).
