Ok, I must say.... this was a pretty good idea and I think it must be done a lot more. Yea, it might be fake, but I think if someone with a shitload of bitcoins would make someone a millionaire with something like this, then this could go viral. We should start donating to a Bitcoin address and have someone reputable run this for us. Let them put 1000's of $10 Bitcoin boxes on eBay or OpenBazaar and each box contain a paper wallet with a small amount of bitcoins. One of the boxes will have the Bitcoin address where everyone is donating money too... ;) Someone will get that lucky box and this person might be the winner of thousands of dollars. Let me know what you think. ;D The $10 boxes can go towards charities, if this is a company sponsoring this idea. ;D Title: Re: Mystery Bitcoin Box! Because the project you are working on is like an entertainment project, only people who need bitcoin, not people who want to invest in bitcoin. I mean, if you pay $20 for a box, then you might just buy something small and add it into the box and also leave a paper wallet with instructions in the box with say, $15 or more of bitcoin on it. But even better if we ensure the user to use wallet which give the private key/mnemonic seed. Well, you could start a pilot project to see how this works with smaller amounts. There are a lot of users with a lot of positive trust on this forum, that can volunteer to do this. You start with a couple of small boxes and you work your way up to the bigger boxes. Some of our hardware wallet manufacturers can also donate hardware wallets for the boxes and merchants can donate some vouchers for their services. There are really a lot of options if this goes viral, because a viral video with a big prize will get a LOT of views and free advertisement for these companies on Youtube. ;D This video got 9,962,954 views ;D |
