That`s why we have the report to moderator button. If we made a post in meta every time we see these kinds of junks... well, meta will become impossible to read.

I understand your frustration. I see things like that too many times per day. But just report him. Eventually, he`s getting his deserved banning.

Yeah we have that button but I am more likely looking for an actual account report not the certain posts. Most of the time some mods can easily noticed posts here than reporting someones posts. Like what I did the last time which the other DT also tags the user immediately

I just want to add up the "Future Guy" which is also another form of sh*t

I do not know how the price will be at the end of 2018, but Ethereum is a major means of investment. Its future is a good future.

It depends on you whether you sell or do not sell .The future of bitcoin is a good future.:)

Bitcoin's future is good future.

Oooohh Now I get you!!
Yeah, probably a reporting thread of these kinds of users may be useful! But, for sure, it will become a megathread in no time.
I don`t know if it has been already done.

It's quite useful to make a new thread in here in case the moderator cannot act fastly enough and have another thing that s/he should do after it got reported to them.

I usually include a description when I report posts like "This user writes nothing but one-line shitposts" (if that's the case).  Sometimes I report more than one post made from a given user, but not always.  I think that's the easiest solution to this problem here, and I'll bet it leads to idiots like him getting banned.

I would love it if, when you view a members post history, there were check-off boxes beside them with a button down at the bottom for reporting all the selected posts, kind of like when you're deleting e-mails.  I realize this is a bit impractical, as each post is different, but it would save time in some ways.  Usually when you get someone like this who's writing "great project" posts, there's a pattern.

There are so many of these posters here, and the mods seem to be overworked ( which appears to lead to bad judgement decisions ). So far this morning I've found 10 members to ignore, and not one to merit. Is it time that we became more proactive, and created some public ignore lists to prevent these posting abusers from getting their posts displayed to the merit awarders.

Honestly, you did good screening works to help cleaning up our forum!
We should have new rank of member in the forum (just kidding) for such shitty posters.
This rank should be named as "Future Ignored".  ;D

I think you made great suggestions, @Jet Cash.
Public Ignore Lists are great, something like this one [SMAS] Signature Managers against Spam (light version) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1545652.0)

Yeap, I saw lots of users wrote threads with such words "Great projects/ Amazing projects/ Potential projects/ Promising projects, etc."
Another bad shitty patterns are trying to collect activity counts by publishing threads with local languages everywhere in the forum.

Just report one post and leave a comment that all his posts are like this and the account will be nuked (or banned if it's a higher rank than Newbie). I suppose we could implement a button on someone's profile like 'report this account' but it's not really needed when you can just report their posts.

Looked through his account's latest posts and 90% of it is about saying thank you to the "information" he has received with nothing else to add or contribute. He might still be under the impression of the old ranking up method were there is still no merit system yet. Also if you are personally annoyed with this guy pressing the "ignore" button works well the only downside to this is you won't see him improve on his posts (not unless you un-ignore him) when he decided to do so later on.

Nah - users like that need to be reported. It is considered a "low quality post bumping the thread". Just keep pressing the "report" button to help the moderator and they will all disappear.....until the next one appears....

If you see that the user is doing it habitually just add : "Please check user history & nuke user." to your report.

Edit:

Ooops...I should read the whole thread.... What Hilarious said:

Do you know if the members of your ignore list are banned/nuked already? Do you report them too, or just put them on ignore?
If you don't report them, is it possible to get a mod (dedicated to your ignore list) and start to nuke/ban those users? It would help a lot.
Also, if some public ignore list will exist (or more, other members could also share their ignore list), I would prefer a drop down list or radio button list to choose which public ignore list I would like to apply to me. I know that I can copy and paste it, but it would let lazy people (like myself :) ) use that function too, if it's one click instead of messing with copying and pasting...
