Title: No Chinese coins?
Post by: michelangelo5000 on July 21, 2018, 03:11:45 AM
Why are there barely any pure crypto coins that are Chinese? I means coins like Vertcoin, Litecoin, Viacoin... But there are a lot of platforms instead...

Are they just doing "serious" stuff or weren't they involved in crypto before Ethereum became big?

They were not involved in the crypto before ethereum. After ethereum has created a way to raise the fund to develop the product related to the crypto and they are starting to copying and use that idea.

Look at neo and how it changes the roadmap and try to create a very similar thing to the ethereum. The majority of China-based projects are very non-creatives projects.

Have you looked into the NEO project? NEO is a Chines project and I think it is a good competitor to the Ethereum. There some other good projects from Chines people like QTUM.

I don't understand your question. Tron is chinese coin, isn't? although i don't like such short-term target like Tron. There are bunch of chinese coins.

I'm not sure anyone understands what your question is. What do you mean by "purely Chinese"? As in all the founders in a project are Chinese, or the coin is only used in China or something?

There's a lot more than just the ones you mentioned. Most of them seem to be based around Ethereum though. Also, they were involved. There were a bunch of mining farms in China from the beginning. Mainly because of the cheap labor and electricity.

China was bigger in mining compared to ICO's prior to 2017, and in 2017 Chinese government tried to ban then severely restrict ICO's, so naturally they did not come up with

as many projects as they'd like. Regardless, NEO is one of the best coins ever produced, and is launching many assertive tokens on its platform.

"hardly any pure crypto chips made from china?" do you not know if NEO is a project from china country?
they do not focus on raising ethereum even now NEO become one of the big rivals of ethereum

because the government has banned ico in china.
this has an impact on ethereum and bitcoin, maybe china will re-legalize ico sometime

Cryptocurrency projects such litecoin is not start with a ico so I don't think there is effect related to ico ban, also litecoin's founder may be chinese but living in usa.

NEO may be the main Chinese crypto in the future, hopefully the government doesn't suppress the price like they like to do with things

No official coin of any country. Except Venezuela. It does not make sense if it already happens. China does not have the index.

I really think if there would be a full bloom Chinese coin or token out there it will be certain that it can be a copy and paste thing from the original coin or token well no pun intended, Well I really think china is great and well known with its mining capability, I really think it is still a question mark whether the government in china really allowed the exchange for Cryptocurrency and that is the only reason why they are not establishing their own coins or token, But highly unlikely then can definitely had the ability and resources to do so.

'Crypto coins' do not have nationality save for one called Petro from Venezuela.
People from China (Chinese) have also contributed immensely to the development of cryptocurrencies both in mining and ICO. The present Chinese government attitude towards cryptocurrency in general can not be said to be friendly.
