If this will come into fruition bitcoin may surpass the expected 60k$ value this December and possibly we may hit 100k to 200k$ in value this year.  If big financial institutions will come into the bitcoin market then billions of dollars or trillions of dollars will push bitcoin towards its highest value in history. Though that is still a possibility but this is the time to gamble and buy bitcoins at least 1 bitcoin will make you a millionaire if that thing is accomplished.

we need natural adoption for bitcoin where people see what bitcoin is as a decentralized currency and then choose freely to use it as such. we don't need to "lure in" any investors to come and buy bitcoin as speculation and pump the price up so that you can sell your coins at a higher price and be happy about a short lived profit that doesn't last.
we need real adoption where merchants start accepting bitcoin as payment and people all around the world freely use bitcoin without needing any third parties, governments approval, banks,... that is when bitcoin will grow and you can make "real profit" since that is the thing most people care about not with "institutional investors" coming in to speculate.

yes this will be a good news for bitcoin because this action sould be beneficial for investors.if this happen then bitcoin price will be high and in cryptocurrency space bitcoin is more important currency. everyone want to see bitcoin price should be high and they make profit also bitcoin adaption is everywhere. if some major traders doing this thing then future will be bright.

I hope so. Most of these efforts and display of force oftentimes are just talks and no official events are materializing out of what they're doing. I believe that we already have institutional investors on our side, it's just that their influence aren't that intricately seen considering that the market is taking a slouch and most people are believing that bitcoin's over after the blow-off from the top. To make things happen, real and sincere efforts should take place, not just petty talks and media sensationalism.

If it is true then kudos to true Digital Holdings as they have just rejuvenated the whole crypto market by supporting BTC and Ether. So, far Bitcoin's recent rise has not faced any pull back which indicates that the market and BTC traders are expecting a bull run soon. Hopefully, this will bag many new investors and institutions to come forward.

It will really add up to the ever trending movement of bitcoin and right now is the time to keep the flow on increasing the value even more, But let's just not rush thing so sudden because it might end up another bounce back to being winter again Just keep this in mind that we are seeing a great movement for bitcoin right now but when another negative news happens we might see a dead cat bounce and I really hope this can be the last one that we can encounter.

It would not be surprising to see that big whales and institutional investors trying to get involved with the market with the intention to earn more profit once again. As we all know that, the previous rally in the last quarter of the last year was a result of the involvement of big whales and institutional investors but this time I am expecting the less aggressive approach from them towards the market.

I do think indices with anti-manipulation safeguards would help attract institutional investors, but I'm pretty sure the lack thereof wouldn't stop them if they wanted to invest anyway. I don't think this will have any immediate significant impact, but it should really help the market.


I agree for the most part, but Bitcoin performing well could easily well attract more new users, a percentage of which could stick around for actual utility.

The thing is that these institutional investors needs a safety net to protect themselves against big losses. A lot of the money

that are invested is coming from people's pension funds and you cannot risk this money on high risk investments like Bitcoin

with high volatility. You can imagine what would happen if pension funds lose 50% of their value in a couple of days, when

we get a huge coin dump, like this year.  ::)  This is why regulators should step in and protect the consumers/pensioners

from reckless investors and high risk investments like this. <Nothing is stopping them from forcing these investors, not to

invest pension fund money of more than say 10% in high risk investments, like Bitcoin ETFs>

I agree with you on this. With the huge success of bitcoin last year there are lots of investors coming in everyday trying to make profit by investing in bitcoin and other altcoins. I'm so certain that most of the investors in here are investing most into bitcoins.
