As newer firmwares are released and devices are tested hashrates are expected to achieve closer to 500Kh/s
Device purchase, setup, management and hosting included.
We purchase the device and handle all shipping, receiving, testing, setup etc for you.  You just provide the pools and overclocking preferences if applicable.
Refund at the end of the term!

Q: WIll you offer dual mode to mine Scrypt and SHA256 at the same time?
A: Yes. Once the devices are setup, tested and power measurements taken IF mining SHA256 does not seriously disrupt scrypt hashing speeds current buyers will have the option to use dual mode, there may be an additional hosting charge based on the estimated 10x power consumption in dual mode.
Q: What if something goes wrong, the devices won't mine to individual pools only as a set, DOA, etc.
A: Refunds are planned for round 1 if there are issues.  Further info will be included with future rounds.

Any scrypt coin. There is a serious lack of information or reviews on these.  My understanding is that you can point them to a multicoin pool or to a dedicated coin pool so long as the coin runs the scrypt algorithm and not a modified version like scrypt-jane etc.

If you have a requirement for coin types post it with your request.  I will either not accept payment if it won't work or refund if it doesn't work.

No worries.  It's a bit different than most sales/services here.

The .5BTC gets you one 5 chip gridseed miner + 90 days of hosting.  This is based on the assumption and historical accuracy of refreshing mining hardware every 90 days.  At the end of 90 days you will have the option to keep hosting the device for around $5 - $20 depending on power usage. 

The device would mine to your pool of choice as a dedicated miner.  If it cannot mine to your pool or I cannot host it upon arrival you would receive a refund.

You can also have the unit shipped to you or sold at the end of 90 days.  I only charge shipping paid and plan to sell off the devices unless there is no other profitable scrypt asic available to upgrade to.

Yes, if you want it to be, or you can pay to have miaviator continue to host it. Or if a new scrypt asic is available you could sell it, then upgrade. If you have it sent to yourself you'll probably have to buy a power supply/anything else required to run it.

When do you want to know our pool for mining?

I'm either refunding everyone and labeling asiabtc a scammer on monday

Changing this to a voluntary group buy (all devices mine to one scrypt pool and one btc pool and payouts are divided)

or asiabtc will come through on his promise.

Devices are in however they will not mine to separate pools and will only mine on the provided controller or windows (and possibly raspi) as of now.

Both of mine are up and running on the pool. From the setup guide (which is awesome by the way), these look like a lot of work. Thanks for getting everything up and running!

Until cgminer/sgminer/bfgminer get support I cannot monitor hashrate or uptimes :(

I wont get any stats for it until its been up for an hour, what pools are others using out of interest?

224khs has been my average so far I'll put up screen shot in a few hours to show average once settled in as such.

I'm on trademybit and I've seen my hashrate everywhere between 375 to 28 Kh/s between the two devices. I'm sure some of that is due to coin changes and I've heard that Gridseeds don't work well on "high difficulty" coins - but I'm not sure exactly how that's defined. Doge on trademybit, for example, is jointly mined by Multipool and trademybit so when we're mining it there's quite a lot of hashpower pointed that direction. I have no idea if that solves the problem.

I see a lot of fluctuations too. Time will tell I guess.

My pool offers a graph and once it has more than 2 hours of data in it I'll see about posting something up. Quick refreshes indicated speeds between 270-365KHs

Mining will be sporadic until Monday afternoon when I can do power and clock tests and rack these in a production rack vs a test bench.

I have to complete the testing of running these in mixed mode from the same box before I officially price out dual mode.  Which as long as dual mode works with say one device in dual and 9 in single I don't know that there will really be an upcharge.

Instead of charging a termination fee or anything else I offer extended hosting or sales/shipping of devices.  So yes you would pay actual shipping + materials if I don't have them lying around once the device is shipped to you or a buyer.

After some quick math and personal speculation that btc wont be this low for much longer (nice movement already today) I feel .5 is a high price for such a small amount of hashing power. I think I will be acquiring a couple of these on my own and will send you a donation soon, as I will undoubtedly be using your guide to assist with setup. Apologies if there is any inconvenience, and please continue the great work! Gonna keep an eye on this thread in case I ever want to rent some extra hashing power.

Yeah, but they kinda changed around the double rewards last night.  Guess they almost took >51% of the ltc chain (or it was costing them alot more than expected!).
