Will Bitcoin hit 20k again? BTC dominance 45% now.

Nobody knows, but i hope yes. I think all want bitcoin. There will be at most 21 million bitcoins in existence. There isn't even enough BTC to go around for EVERY millionaire to own one.  So i really think it will be. :)

The investments being made in crypto right now make it hard for me to believe we won’t see new highs within the next 3 years.

There is a very high chance for cryptocurrency this year to reach $20k dollars even it was dumping today because there more countries who are not accepting bitcoins more than last year.

Looking by the margins, it always comes back up. Im speculating end of September we should see a big growth.

well in my view perhaps there is a chance but not 100% sure, because market always fluctuate nowadays around this current value and can't even exceed . Maybe we need to wait more results on this circumstances to assured the specific direction of growth rate.  Because it become stagnant again as of now. 

Honestly it would be a bit difficult, that again the Bitcoin price would hit the $ 20,000 like last year, many people still trust this currency. But currently investors are not helping this happen, there are many speculations and they all say they trust in growth, so maybe with luck there is this possibility.

certainly bitcoin is going to recover and move over $20,000 in some days to come.  I don't think we have utilize all the potential of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in 2017. Many good news are coming and I believe that those new are going to push the price above the formal high.

There is still a possibility that the price of BTC will return to us $20k again, but it will certainly take time, but I think the probability of reaching us $20,000 in 2018 is very low.

$20k is nothing considering the potential that bitcoin has while having a small and limited supply and at the same time having an increasing demand while we are only at a very tiny adoption so far.

The August ETF will be one of the big events that will be happen on august and maybe there's any good changes will happen by the time bitcoins/cryptocurrency will be approved, But since there are slow movements occuring maybe we can taste the comeback of $20,000 price so let's just wait and observe for the market flows so that we can track those golden movements.

We still have chance for this since we have more time this year. If bitcoin able to hit $10k again for sure the next target is to make a new all time high. A lot of people saying that bitcoin can hit that price, well I still believe with bitcoin.

I'm pretty positive about that possibility, probably even beyond 20k. The thing is that i'm not looking for it to happen this year or anytime soon. If it comes by the year end then good, if not then no problem since i'm not expecting it anyways.

Bitcoin still makes it possible to rise 20k in the next year due to the limited amount and many who want bitcoin. And in this year maybe we will not see bitcoin at 20k price.

Technically it's far less than that if we purely focus on crypto/tokens meant to function as money.

Does anyone here know of a site where Ethereum's market cap versus its token market cap dominance is shown? It must have gone down a lot as well, especially after EOS. I wouldn't even be surprised if at some point one of these tokens ends up surpassing Ethereum itself. People can talk trash about EOS all day, but once up and running it will definitely inflict severe damage on Ethereum. It's only a matter of time.

Yes it can but no one knows when, i do not believe that the bitcoin price will recover in short term and we need large time to hit this price again .

I believe and remain optimistic about bitcoin, bitcoin is the strongest and the leader of other crypto coins. Bitcoin can surely rise and the 20k high rise can definitely be translucent by bitcoin.

actually pal we still have no idea if it's possible again to reach on this year. because of being so unpredictable of market growth rate nowadays. wherein even sometimes  it is time to move forward it always suddenly change direction without any sign, , like what happen as of now on this small progress which is the pattern suddenly  change again even though the market is fine and still showing a big percent tagged as potential  to increase. Probably people nowadays gaining quick profits in the market again and for sure this is the common reason as of now  why bitcoin is so stagnant and cant even grow more again.

It is possible on end of the year and I can expect it will reach more than 25k USD. But still market is not stable so we should not completely predict the future possibilities. All the investors are supporting to Bitcoin this will never failed in next year so positive result is depends on this year market.

I'm sure it will hit 20k again we can see that price in December, you know bitcoin can make miracle just like in last year so this year maybe it will repeat the history so let see.

The movement these is different compared to other altcoin movements, look at the CMC graph compare to bitcoin.

What I see about bitcoin there is a group that supports bitcoin to stay around $7k and they are preventing it to drop again like other altcoins.

What I heard from some traders out there bull market is coming, but no one said that the price can rise again back to $20k value, there is no guarantee that the price of bitcoin will climb up to $20k but $10k is possible to reach again.

I am very sure, but not 25K.

There is no chance bitcoin doesn't hit 20 thousand dollars once again. The question is when will it do that. Maybe it will do it in a week, maybe it will do it in 2020 when the next halving will happen. We do not know when it will happen but we are all sure it will happen one day once again. I love these days when bull shows up and people are wanting the 20k limits once again instead of asking if it will go down lower than 4k or something bearish.

If i see the current movement on the bitcoin value that continues to show improvement and has reached $ 8000 in July, it is not impossible that bitcoin value by the end of this year will reach 20k, because bitcoin always surprise us all in December.
Then i am very optimistic that history will happen again this year and i keep waiting for the good news it will come.

In the future it is likely to reach 20,000$. But in the present it is not. The current market looks very dangerous and unpredictable. Bitcoins increased to 8,000$, but altcoin prices fell. Market capitalization does not increase. Like a trap. The market may go down again in the near future

A highly unlikely possible scenario like that could happen in the future we had seen unpredictable pump from bitcoin in the past it can do that thing again but not a possible answer when it can occur, And right now the market for Cryptocurrency is very dangerous if that is what you are suggesting but I need to agree with you because the recent movement for bitcoin and all altcoins back then is in harmony or have a synchronicity in it when bitcoin price is green all altcoin will manifest the same movement, But right now most altcoin is on red state and bitcoin just increase 4.19% as per coinmarketcap's data I really think it might be because many altcoin holders have change from their hold Altcoins back to bitcoin? Yes it will hit 20k again if the current growth continues. Now the value of bitcoin is slighlty increase this would give positive hope about bitcoin to many investors. Because so many investors holding the bitcoin for long time for this current situation. If the current pump continues daily means surely bitcoin will hit easily 20k within two months. But we cannot predict the market easily. Lets wait and see with patience.

Most probably according to present trends, BTC is going to go a way above $20k. Maybe it hits $30k this time during bullish rally. I think futures are going to limit the bullish rally because of their short term trading nature, but if new investors enter the market, then I expect price to go another ATH this year. Right now, BTC is already giving bullish signals, if that sustains we will soon see $10k breached.

According to me, Bitcoin will soon hit $20k. Its rising day by day ,today 1 btc=$8138.85 .Rising in the value of bitcoin day by day is the evidence that it will soon hit $20k. What I think is, bitcoin will exceed $20k this year. However we can't say the above statement so surely because market keeps on fluctuating, moreover bitcoin is of highly volatile nature ,so we can't commit any statement about crypto 100% surely.

Even if we will get to see this hit again, it is not going to be this year. Considering how the market is presently, and the fact that the bear trend is not over yet, and I expect anyone not to be deceived by the current uptrend correction as we are still in a downtrend, the likelihood of seeing $20,000 anytime soon is so bleak. I think yes we will see bitcoin price will reach 20k or more by the end of this year. This week bitcoin price increased so fast that some people were surprised about it and bitcoin price goes up very quickly that even bitcoin haters buy it to make profit of off bitcoins.

Bitcoin dominance now is 46.9% which makes it so close to 50%. If it will hit that percentage, this makes bitcoin will remain always as a king. Dominance's higher today than last December all time high but still the price isn't $20,000. This can also trigger bitcoin to reach back to $20,000 but we're not heading there. It's a long way to go (I guess) before we'll see it. Bull market's there but it will move quick for a while but there will be times that it will move slowly.

This month the price of Bitcoin has increased to $8416.I think the price of Bitcoin in August or September will reach $20000.Bitcoin will restore its dominance.

There is a huge chance that bitcoins will actually reach $20k dollars or it will even surpass its previous price because there are more people right now who are actually capable of investing in cryptocurrency.

I strongly believe that bitcoin will reach the 20k mark and even surpasses it with several development happening all over the globe but the issue is when this will happen. The timing is what cannot be guaranteed in the short run. For bitcoin to reach the 20k it reach in the last successful run, several factors were responsible for that. And the only way we will see it again is for the same scenarios to play out again which is likely not possible.

Then we are left with the option of gradual movement propelled by the participants in the market quest to see a good turnaround until major event would doubled the effort that is being done already. Personally, if Bitcoin wants to reach 20K, this requires an ETF as a support point. Although Bitcoin has recently begun to rise rapidly, these funds are still insufficient. We need more investors to join the market, we can land on the moon!

The current market situation doesn’t show that the price will hit $20k till the end of this year because it is still below $8000 and there is a big difference between these two prices. If the price grows continuously and there are no more dips then it will reach to $20k in the near future. I think that if this growth ratio remains for some time, the price will go more than $20k.

I think the Bitcoin market dominance will reach much higher levels in the future.

Just take a look at some of the current valuations of various altcoins:
-ETH is trading for ~482 $
-Bitcoin Cash is trading for ~850 $
-Dash is trading for ~245 $

These price levels are still ridiculously high and I strongly suspect that we haven´t
seen the full capitulation of the altcoin market yet. As we all know most altcoins don´t even
have fiat pairs, which implies that if people do leave these altcoins their funds will flow

You didn’t mention the time. In my opinion bitcoin price will definitely reach to $20k, but not in this year. Gradually the price is increasing and we will have to wait to see the price touching $20k. if there is no big bump it will take long time, but if like the previous year we see another unnatural increase then it will not tale long time. I see this level in the next year.

Nobody knows, but i hope yes. I think all want bitcoin. Or maybe upper. So we must be patient for great benefit. If the price is down don,t be panic, just hold it one day the price of bitcoin will raise up again

I think it is very clear, but it takes a very long time and requires good news that can trigger an increase in bitcoin prices if there is no good news, bitcoin will be very difficult to be able to increase prices because no investors will buy it.

I just hoping that in this year bitcoin hit $20k again even hitting only $18k not bad for me at least we can earn profit with that price.

In fact it is not possible to give a perfect timing for the bitcoin price to reach to 20k, but still I think that it is very much possible, we can roughly estimate that in next few months bitcoin price will easily reach to 20k.

The trend a few years before the price of bitcoin always skyrocketed at the end of the year, if you look at various current price analysis and charts, I'm optimistic that by the end of this year it could reach at least $ 20k, the most important is to be patient so that you can get big profits.

everybody blame SEC on how bitcoin price fall more than half since they officially announced to reject bitcoin ETF. well it's reasonable . also because of this delusion to always expecting bitcoin price to bounce back very soon…. makes a lot of people get trapped in the current market situation , just woke up guys! the All time high won't come just like that. don't think bitcoin are the easiest way to double your money , it's a wrong conception. bitcoin are a tool to reach what fiat and other currencies can't reached.

I really hope so and believe in that, but that's not gonna happen any time soon. The price of bitcoin has been stable recently and i would like it keep that way, I don't want the currency suddenly rise up or fall down in a nick of time, bitcoin has to find the way to rise back from the fall and earn people's trust back.

Usually the way human mind is fashioned most of the time. Find someone to blame for whatever is happening. This market was already due for a huge bear trend and no matter the ETF approval, nothing would have changed that fact anyway.  The market could not get sustained after the full blown speculated rally through last year. So, whatever we are seeing now is expected.

Yes this will happen but not immediately, may be it will take some time to reach 20k. Now the market is started to increase hope this will continue and we can expect some huge growth by the end of this year. Just hold the bitcoin and wait, once the bitcoin price becomes high you can sell and earn good profit.

The big pump that occurred in mid-December 2017 had made bitcoin hit the price of $ 20k. Most likely this 'sweet history' will not happen again for this year 2018. The reason is recently two 'bitcoin ETFs' have been rejected by the SEC. No wonder if eventually, bitcoin will run naturally in a healthy market without third-party manipulation or a pope. More people expected $20k to be reached this year, but I doubt so far that it will not be achieved that easy. Possibly we'll be reaching that value for good and not at the shortest term. If you're holding bitcoin like what others did for several months, we need not to break that dedications and determinations so that we can enjoy the benefit that it might provide us during the time it will pump a good price. Patience will gain rewards after all, and most of the long term traders acquire surprises when their asset acquire sustainable value as well.

Well this is possible to hit $20k again for bitcoin but it takes time. Because of this volatile price and takes long to recover still their is a high chance for the price to increase. Who knows? Let's see this year ends I think their is changes.

Last year it hit 20K because everybody was expecting BTC futures to be a game-changer. Which it actually was. But in a negative sense, since they're cash-settled. But ETFs are different. They bring real liquidity. So one can hope to see new high this year if ETF get approved this September.

What happens if the ETF does not accept bitcoin? So all predictions about the future bitcoin in September can be more accurate. There are 2 possibilities, bitcoin will jump back to 20k or bitcoin will sink deeper.

You cannot give a perfect timing for anything as long as you cannot see the future and same applies to the cryptocurrency space with bitcoin not being an exception. Will it hit $20k; this is very possible if we get to see everything working perfectly as expected and with the space growing rapidly and the real life usage becoming even more apparent with a lot of users popping in, the likelihood of seeing past $20k is there. I really have high expectations for the price to brighten at the end of this year. So, I expect it to reach $20k, not to mention that at this very moment, it is increasing. I believe there might be a change this year as well. Since BTC dominance is 45% comparing to other coins, Just a remainder that bitcoin was at $5000 same time last year and rallied to $20k in the next four months. This seems like a game changer this time as well.

Yes you are absolutely correct that it rallied till $20k last time. but comparing to this year it seems it will not rise this year as there are more competitors like ethereum, XRP, EOS.

Many crypto analyst had predicted that the bitcoin price will reach higher than $20k and this makes more people getting intrest to invest in bitcoin. Although the market had been in a bearish mode that makes all crypto prices fall from where it was. I'm hoping that this will recover soon.

There are many points to consider before BTC will rise high again, but for sure it will really take time and it will be lower than it is before, being in bear market now , what only coins need for now is to survive and sustain their uses.

Nothing happens! There will still be another time later on anyway. I really do not see the ETF as a serious driving factor in this market, and with or without its approval; nothing is going to change in the growth and development of bitcoin both in value and in technology.

ETF though could have been able to bring about some pretty good growth since this would make more smart moneys to enter into the market, but I still will not want to paying so much attention to it, as this could just open up more avenue for manipulations anyway.

The situation at this moment makes it hard to believe tht the market value will rise s much or even more than what hppened lst year. Yeah, lessen your expectation with bitcoin so it will not hurt you so much. Though we see a great move in the past days, i think its quiet hard to achieve $20k level again but of course its still possible. Let’s wait until we see a bear market again.

I'm not going to say it's a 100% sure thing that the price tips 20k again, but I will go on record by saying that I would be the utmost shocked if it weren't too happen sooner than later.

While there is plenty of speculation regarding the price on Bitcoin and where it will be in November and December, at this rate I'd be happy with a price point anywhere above or near 10k.

With all the ETF bullshit around, 20k is more far away than ever. We have trolls manipulating the markets, and satoshi : That's what you get for making a decentralized volatile crypto-currency.

10k is a good shine of hope,and is much better than having an unstable market scenario,where one day the price is 12k and the next day its 6k. It doesn't happen like that, but who knows what the future has for us.

Bitcoin should really sustain its level so we can see its level on $20k again. But I think this year is different trend, we may not see bitcoin on $20k level but I hope it will end this year on a strong level. No need to hurry things, because good things will happen in the right time with bitcoin.

In my opinion, it will be a hard time for bitcoin to recover and hit $20k again at this moment because many big investors are turning their back to bitcoin already because of its low price and I think most of them already sold their bitcoin and invest to other coins.

Yes, it is possible to reach more than $20k but we don't know how long it will take but surely the price of Bitcoin will cross more than $20k. Of course, now it is the tough time to be patient but once after investing, we have to wait there is no choice for us.

Only time will tell on when bitcoin can possibly hit $20,000. I have no doubts of its possibility but I don't have confidence on when it can exactly will happen. There's more to go for the market and this has been the most awaited price of everyone which is the all time high in history.

In the present situation of the market, it is impossible to reach the value of $20k by the end of the year, my expectation that bitcoin will cross more than $12k. The price of bitcoin is kept declining and this makes me more negative about the market.

Yep it will, By the end of 2018 it'll be $15000 and then in 2019 on first 4 months, we'll see it above 20k.

Well, many people has negative thoughts about bitcoin can raise and hit the price. I'd rather say who knows what will happen in the future? if it has happened, why can't it happen twice? I'm positive that bitcoin will hit 20k again, or even more. people these days love simple things, and bitcoin will hold out since it can accommodate people's need.

That is not the question we all know that bitcoin is going to touch that price again, the real question is how long that is going to take? The last time there was such a big crash the market took years to recover and while this time the crash is not a big in terms of percentage it is way bigger in terms of dollars so it's possible that it will take even longer to recover if we compare it to the previous crash.

20k$ surely, there are so many predictions that it will hit 50k$ or 100k$. Realistic and most optimistic is 30k$ by the end of the year. Even CNN made an article today that BTC will reach nearly 33k$, but in 1 year time.

So many predictions and were not certain if price could sustain at this current rate. Exactly some predictions for btc to hit $100k and more. It will took time for btc to increase.

As what  I seen lately the price is slowly climbing it seems so dragging but  for me it seems that the movement is so precise, it becomes slowly but  surely. But one thing for  sure as we inter the ber month good thing will happen.

Of course bitcoin will hit 20k again.  Adoption is only going to increase while mining rewards will get lower overtime.  Personally, I think btc will be back up to 20k levels at the end of 2018 or in early 2019.

For the people that bought over 10k, all you have to do is be patient and hold.  Professional investors have the ability to think long term and not chase short term gains.

That is pretty optimistic. You are pretty much expecting the price to double in a matter of a few months - given that we are in September 2018. I do not see the recovery to be that quick. I am prepared to hold for the next 2-3 years before I decide to take a call. It is only when all the get-rich-quick-investors get fed up and leave will we see a fair value of Bitcoin.

There’s no need to rush the market, bitcoin will surely hit $20k level again at no specific time. We really have to play long term with bitcoin, because if you can see its risky when you just play short term because whales will just take your money away from you. Play long term, whales have no choice but to pump the market again and government will slowly adopt blockchain.

I think bitcoin is very capable of reaching a price of 20k, but to reach 20k takes time because the market is falling. Be patient, bitcoin will be able to reach 20k and good profits will be obtained in the future.

You are just too focused on what it is happening right now and that is a common problem, people see how the market is doing and not what it is going to do, this also happened to all of those that invested in December when it was obvious that it was impossible to maintain the price of 20k because we were in the middle of a bubble, and if you keep that attitude you will soon lose the chance to get profits in the future.

It looks like 20000$ is some magic number. Still don't forget that the end of the last year and so big and fast Bitcoin price growth was some kind of exception.
That doesn't mean that the price will not reach 20000$ again, I beleive it will, but this will not happen so soon again.
At the moment price is around 7000$ and it's slowly growing but this still doesn't show the sign of continuous rise. I think if we reach 10000$ by the end of the year this will be good achievement.

Yes it is expected that bitcoin will hit 20k in 2019 but still on depends on situations and number of investors.Craze regarding bitcoin is increasing day by day so it is expectef that market value will surely increase incoming year but will it reach 20k that is not sure.Bitcoin had faced a major downfall in mid 2018 so to recover from this BTC need some time.So hope so it will reach 20k by 2019.

Obviously it is not a sure thing at least this year with the way everyone is so particular about the ETF approval and I do not see it really being approved this year and in fact, I see it being postponed till next year. It would be a great gift if we are even able to find our way up to $10k, and it would be a miracle if we are even able at all to find our way above that, towards, 14k or a bit above.

$20k is not something that should be expected now except till 2019 or 2020, unless we get to see very strong news that would drive in demand into the market.

In the last years bitcoin has gone up at the end of the year but I really think that is just a coincidence and it's unlikely it is going to happen this year, as you say reaching a price of 20000 dollars is completely possible just not in this year which means that those that bought at the all time high will have to wait for a few years if they want to recover the money.
