I notice lots of cryptocurrency investors or traders are also forex traders.
Are you one also ? What is your reason to invest or trade cryptos ?
Are crypto players can be said to love speculate more ?  ::)

Some cryptocurrency investors or traders are forex traders too. If you are earning in forex trading, of course you will also take your chance in earning some decent money in cryptocurrency since it is also profitable and almost the same as forex trading.

Can the strategy used to trade forex also applicable to trading crypto ?

Yes. But the problem is Crypto doesn't have much history compared to the forex. So the movements are not much predictable. When we take a look at forex charts you will see historical data for at least 5-10 years back. But when downloaded you will see historical data for at least 10-20 years. But in crypto most coins don't have that much historical data. There for support and resistance levels are not much stronger like in forex.

I had indeed tried both Cryptos and forex trading they are both similar and a little difference between  them  the former is highly volatile  while the latter is more stable in form of volatility thus trading  Cryptos requires using a at least a daily timeframe to avoid losses due to the price momentum and fundamental news or FUD.
