Okay, DEXs list. About time we start one, since I'm actually looking forward to them coming up seriously mext year. False dawns in 2017 and this year as so many are slow to develop.

Add Waves and Counterparty, with xcp and waves pairs respectively, to that. I followed NVO last year and had really high hopes except they seem to have stalled badly.

Is there is a real difference between Plasma and atomic swaps? because in Altcoin.io website, the first page speak about Plasma but when you try the website (the rest of the pages), they are referring to the process we're doing as Atomic swaps.

I was hoping to see decentralized exchanges a lot more used than what they used to be but look like most of the crypto users are not ready to use any of them. Even the "advanced" users. I too believe decentralized exchanges will play a major role in the future. The question is: when?

If I understood correctly, Plasma is all about smart contracts scalability.  It broadcasts only completed TX. to the chain to save data and processing power. It's a kind of Segwit brother.

If someone can confirm or correct me...

Yeah, I don't think they're related. Last I heard of Plasma was when Vitalik Buterin mentioned it as a scalability option for Ethereum. I don't know how it works, but yeah apparently it made leaner blockchains, with less data storage required... maybe even comparable to Bitcoin's Lightning Network (in terms of keeping other data off chain).

Atomic swaps is just exchanging across blockchains (this would be the true decentralized exchange methodology in my view). No depositing of funds anywhere, just a direct swapping between different blockchains. IIRC Litecoin was one of the first to successfully do this with Bitcoin.

Hey, just thought I'd share this service I just stumbled upon in the forum: a DEX Aggregator called Totle (http://). First time I've heard of something like this. Summary of how it works:

- Wallet connected to the app
- App connects to network of exchanges: Kyber, Bancor, ED, Raday Relay

Apparently, it combines all the orderbooks so you get liquidity. Still in Beta though, but I'll probably give it a try (not really an ERC20 DEX user).

I only know about after reading your post. Did you try it since? The idea is good and time-saving, however, I am not able to try the beta version. When I go to "Try Beta v0.3" I just get a blank page :/
