IMPORTANT UPDATE February 11, 2019
Dear community,

Thank you for your patience and great support during our new chain update process. After the last attempt to launch we are now ready with the wallet version 2.0.0 to launch and start the swap.
We tested and run the chain in a closed environment and we are now successfully running the chain with the latest updates.
For a smooth swap process please follow the next steps:
1. Backup your walletdat from wallet 2.0.0 were you have the address that you send it by mail for receiving new coins
2. Delete your old blocks folder from wallet 2.0.0
3. Use the following add nodes in your config:

It is absolutely decentralised and we are here to push mass adoption, state law permissions are critical in order to obtain our goal.
We want to make it as easy as possible for the most people as possible. Regarding state and permissions there are other projects

Project itself is interesting and promising but , don't want to act harsh or offensive, either some pictures and couple of slogans of this ann sounds a bit childish and hype looking. You should avoid such kind of communications if you really want to build a credibility in financial ecosystem imo.

what kind of a crypto algo is nihilo ? i do not think i have saw it before so it must be new or i'm just a noob. anyway, i do not see any premined coins for a "wonderfull" opportunity to get a masternode so this is a good thing. and if you partners are legit this coin can be quite interesting.

We have not promised an increase in community at a certain time or date, this is something that takes time to build and dont happen from one day to another. The OryxCoin project team has a great approach. 1. What is the Oryx ecosystem and what is the vision behind it?

The Oryx ecosystem is a multifaceted platform that harmonizes technology with investing and banking in a way that creates real value for all of the members of the Oryxian community. Technology is at the heart of Oryx’s ecosystem. We use a third generation blockchain called Nihilo, that we developed entirely in-house. This blockchain powers all of the different platform in the Oryx ecosystem.

Oryx has a blockchain-powered venture capital fund that invests in startups and nascent companies that use technology as a business enabler or differentiator. Our digital asset is called OryxCash (ICO started on August 20th). Members subscribe to OryxCash, and this subscription powers investment into the VC fund.

In the Oryx ecosystem, there are three banks, which are in different stages of formation in the jurisdictions of Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and Peru respectively. November 20, was our 1 year birthday and also the end of our first OryxCash ICO, please make sure you did the KYC in order to recieve your airdrop.

We are awaiting full trading history report from CE and all coins will eventually be swapped, however coins generated after block 206275 are orphans and invalid. We will look into setting up a pool to compensate community for eventually losses.

Regarding the connections, please leave swap wallet open and it will catch up.

It will catch up eventually after a while. I had 0 connections in the beginning too and after a couple of hours I got seven connections.

When your swap wallet has synched to block 206675, please keep the wallet open 24/7 in order to speed up the process.

Please shut down and stop your masternodes on your vps as well. We are currently at 40% and still have 288 nodes running. Shutting down running vps wallets will help increase the percentage and help us migrating much faster.

We had an attack on our network and hackers were able to generate a lot of orphans on the network and messed up the total supply. Currently we are going to swap all OryxCoin before before block 206510 were the attackers started the exploit.

Once we have swapped, trading will be enabled when exchange has compiled our new wallet.

Since we have trouble reaching the 51% of the community to update to swap wallet, we have decided to swap the coins manually. Our new network is ready and we are ready to swap.

Swap procedures will give us the security of eliminating all orphan coins that were mined after exploit. It is important to read carefully and follow exact steps in order to have a successful swap.

1. Open your wallet
Go to Tools -> Show automatic backups
Go one step up to OryxCoin
Copy your wallet.dat to your desktop
Close your wallet

2. Delete all content in your Oryxcoin folder
(make sure you have saved your wallet.dat before deleting the folder)

3. Download latest OryxCoin wallet v. 1.5.0.0 from here:

4. Open new wallet V 1.5.0.0
Generate new recieving address under File-> Receiving addresses

5. Send an email to Ciprian@oryxprive.com with:

We request you to send an email with wallet.dat and new address because every wallet.dat will be manually checked.

Every wallet.dat holder will receive in his new OryxCoin address all the coins that were in his addresses up to block 206510.

All the coins that were mined after block 206510 are part of an orphan chain and are deleted.

Once you received your new OryxCoin in wallet V1.5.0.0 you need to backup your wallet / encrypt your wallet / unlock for staking.

We need all of the community to first stake in order to help the new network to move blocks. A script will be published for Merchantnode setup after we start the swap and the staking begins.

We have now processed 80% of the addresses for the swap. Latest updates and patches was applied to our code, but did not work as expected.

I understand your frustration. Im frustrated as well. People want to make money with this technology but cant even follow simple instructions. We still have 70 nodes running on the old chain and even though we compiled new wallets, swapped manually and published new configurations people still was using old wallets causing the chain to fork. Currently we are running the chain in close environment and will release new wallets when we have passed block 10000. All will be good eventually, it just takes more time than anticipated.
You will get your coins but this is also a community collaboration and each member has to take responsebility and do their part in order to get the network running.

Coin has been swapped recently and Southexchange has been quicker to relist than Coinexchange. They are very slow to reply and we are awaiting their response anytime. Hopefully trading will resume on CE asap.

Well then allow me to rephrase, all coins purchased during the hack is lost and is not part of our new chain. If you purchased during the hack you lost your purchase, therefore we are looking into making a compensation plan for our community members in order to mimimize their loss. We are investigating and current loss is about 4 btc.

Well, they send us a message asking us to identify all the addresses that exploited coins were sent to.
They are asking us to do the work so now we are going back and identify all the addresses so that we can send them a list.
Then they will look into trade activities of those addresses and compare with our trade id’s from the list of users that sent the google form.
We estimate min 10 days work because we need to identify +200 addresses
We don’t understand the approach of CE when we cleary stated that we will compensate the affected trades.
Hopefully we are back on CE very soon.
