Title: About veterans/members
Post by: Nezinau on February 18, 2014, 06:07:55 PM
Nearly all of 20-200 activity members advertising and getting some money, but those who have 500+ or even more don't do that. Why?
I get that they are kinda important here and don't want to show themselves as easy boughtable(I am not sure that it's a word), but they are posting a lot and could get just some extra money for that. I think extra money didn't hurt anyone.

They've probably been around long enough so their bitcoin stash is big enough no to bother about those things.

There are some people who do it but many don't because they are advertsing other stuff in their signature like their business.

You'll notice, my signature space is pretty full.  There really isn't room for any advertisements.  Even if there was room, it would get cluttered and distracting.  The dust that I'd earn wouldn't be worth the damage to my reputation if a service that I advertised turned out to be a scam.

Anybody who has been on this forum for more than a couple years should've made enough money off of BTC, ads would just be a nuisance with little monetary gain

True.

To me, payments from those faucets are just dusts.
Some others may consider 0.5 BTC a dust lol :P

There are several / many reasons. Some people don't partake for moral reasons ie they don't want to promote gambling, some don't like the 'signature spam', and some just don't care about earning a little money, but I agree with you on I think extra money didn't hurt anyone. So why haven't you got one?  ;D

Some of us can earn a little more than pennies ;).
