Hello everybody,
I have small question: When does those 2weeks when you can get 14 activity restars? Because I have 25 activity even though I registered (February 16, 2014, 06:01:07 PM) just 3 days before xD .
I thought, 2 weeks starts to count after you register. :)

IIRC, the period is the same for everyone (not related to your register time), and the forum use the linux time to calculator the 2 weeks (period doesn't start from Sunday/Monday, as in your calender)...

I think the new two-week time period started again yesterday.

Exactly. You will get 14 more activity (as you have made way more than 14 posts) then :)

if you register a new account and post only 1 post every 2 weeks will your activity continue to increase?

daamn, I was thinking on about growing accounts and selling them when they reach a higher ranking :D

And it is invited to make people care more about their accounts :)

Get banned with +300 activity would be sad :)

and they can get a new account (with 300 activity) in *less than a year* lol

how much activity do you need for large sigs?

You need to be Sr. Member (240+ Activity)

why would you get banned?

I read somewhere that multi-accounting and account trading is legal as the moderators couldn't keep track of all that activity happening..

There are so many reasons to get banned.
Rules included to activity increasing (and new rules #signatures) are needed to stop people do spam.

IF in two weeks time you will get ex. 200 activity for your 200 posts, you will do not care a lot about getting banned.

When you need to work hard to get high activity - then you will think of what you are posting.
because spam activity is easy to see and ban is easy to get then.

That assertion is incorrect.  Activity is re-checked every hour, and there is no set period that starts on a a specific day for every user.  The time periods begin from the day you registered, and start counting two week periods from that point on.

Are you sure that's the case? I have seen members who have had their accounts only 8 days and already have 28 activity. I believe that there is a set period, that started again today.

Yes I think there is a set period too, just not sure if it re-starts today or not

if some has 109acitvity that means he's member of this forum from more then >109days..! because you get 14activity points after every 14days... that 's 1activity point for a day if calculated,

You don't need to wait 14 days to get your initial 14 activity.

For the same reason, no need to wait 14 days for your last 14 activity either.

So for 109 activity, you can possibly do it within 90 days actually :)

and may I ask, how long can I post in the off topic thread? I got 14 activities already, with 24 posts

You can start right in the beginning, and there is no newbie jail now.

Not necessarily.
Even if you make just 1 post in the next period, you activity could go up 14, if your post count is a lot more (14+) than your activity.
