There are plenty of threads speculating about what's next, but the reality is that noone other than the Gox-folks know for sure (and maybe they don't even know). Title: Re: Status on mtgox? MTGOX just needs to return the money to its users and close its exchange. There are plenty of better options for BTC users out there now and after their past mistakes combined with this one, I just don't think they'll be able to compete. Title: Re: Status on mtgox? They definitely don't always go with what they say in their press releases...

I wonder if the addition of LTC would bring down the value per coin at this point...

in fact this is the strongest evidence I have ever seen for the need for altcoins, and the need for a good exchange, to diversify into several coins any other coin would serve as a vehicle to get funds in and out, in such situation ;D Title: Re: Status on mtgox?
