Post by: rosyantony on July 24, 2018, 10:32:17 AM
On Friday, European Parliament (https://coinpedia.org/news/european-authorities-warn-crypto-future/) issued a research study on the basis of “Competitive issues that Sector of Financial Technology (Fintech)” is facing. The European Parliament Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs [ECON] was in charge to accomplish this study. They supervise the decisions taken by the EU’s European Central Bank (ECB).

If the European union is planning to regulate crypto, it's fine. Too much project in the market, I guess we need something that is long term and will protect cryptocurrency

European Union has predicted that there might be a derailment of cryptocurrency by the central banks of the world. The report stated that if the central banks introduces their own coinage system, then Bitcoin might lose its supporters. European Union clearly warned about the situation that might come in the future.

The EU can say and do whatever they want however I think the cat is fully out of the bag by now.  They look foolish and show how insignificant they really are when the people decide to move in mass and do what they please.  I see the EU bowing down to preserve power.

Why the EU thinks that the future of crypto will not be good is a bit baffling. So far, the future looks promising. And sending a warning about it, seems a bit out of place. No further comments can be placed until more news surfaces.

However, not only in Europe, risk also means opportunity, so accept bitcoin and blockchain technology.
I'm still optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency markets.

Why market need regulation? To allow big funds come to this market. But just imagine do you want your bank come here and bought BTC at 20000 usd) or it can be Pension Fund. Very big volatility and I don't think that regulator will allow to do such things in this year.

Without original link and authenticity posts of such can get very misinforming for potential investors. In EU, the central bank along with other banks are jumping in for cryptocurrenices by releasing their own. Although this will take a longer span of time to make believe.

I guess you should have cited the original link in the post otherwise it can be very misleading. In EU, the central bank along with other banks are trying to hop into the crypto scene by releasing their own cryptocurrencies. Even if they try to limit other cryptos it will take a long time and very complex procedure to do so.
