Blockchain technology can be applied I many field like:
1. Banking and financial sector: For clearing and settlement purpose, processing the payments and KYC norms.
2. Artificial Intelligence: this would guarantee the accuracy of data and would make it easy for the small players to enter the market.
3. Supply Chain Management: For securing the supply chain, ensuring transparency and eliminating the middlemen.
4. Healthcare sector: for making innovations and improving the digital infrastructure.

Realistically, any industry can benefit from blockchain technology. It's really just up to the founding company to determine a use for it.

I am very keen to see blockchain technology being applied to monitor electioneering process. Any government which blazes this trail will be sending a strong message to as many governments of the day which are cynical about blockchain.

The potential of blockchain technology is incredibly vast, which is why it is so revolutionary to the world. This includes decentralization of the internet, smart contracts, decentralized markets (trade without third party), distributed cloud storage, decentralized social networking, encrypted messaging, and authenticated voting.

Yea it took me a bit to find that site. It's not just good for the blockchain industry, but for every industry. It's really cool to look at the startup ideas on there.

There are many areas that can apply blockchain technology such as Trading, banking, etc

Blockchain Technology is amazing, it can be applied in a lot of services and there are some companies, especially Bitfury which works on it. For example blockchain technologies are useful in land titling as an extra layer of protection, another example which is just an idea of our forum member is to use blockchain to prevent falsification of golds and a lot.

blockchain can be used any developing sectors .it is not constrained to a particular field i am sure it can be used in farming ,banking and engineering sectors

Blockchain can be applied to almost any industry which uses a computer in its offices.
The technology can even be used in almost every industry, even in Banana growing.

It can be used in the Collection and storing of data, used in the transportation, delivery,
sale, invoicing and payment of any goods, including those banana's!

We are only scratching the surface at the moment as regards its application.

Blockchain just like any other tech is going to be an enabler of human life. It can be applied in many industries at the moment the best case scenario is financial industry where Bitcoin is an example of such blockchain technology application. Other possible fields blockchain can be applied include but not limited to:

  Governance- (Here I use the word governance not to limit its use to government alone as the word governance encompasses more than that).

The question that bugs me is whether any entity or guys who will create these application will it embody all the qualities and features of bitcoin technology. One such feature is the anonymity of developers which I feel today remains an issue I am no techie person but learning the "soft core of the technology and its potential". Would love to hear and follow guys opinion about this issue.
