How do you see the long term scenario playing out for altcoins? What ones do you see in the top10 and what % of market dominance will Bitcoin have?

The most sane bet is 80% or more will be dominated by Bitcoin at any rate. Then niche currencies will exist, but most ICO scams will be dead by then, it will simply be not lucrative anymore. The remaining 20% will be a few alts + the bunch of badly calculated marketcap factor which doesn't even count (https://medium.com/bitcoinfoundation/the-bitcoin-dominance-indicator-fallacy-2b11093869d4).

Litecoin may still be around for historical reasons.

The Ethereum clusterfuck most likely exploded and the promise of a "global decentralized turin complete computer" nonsense dead in the water.

Monero probably failed to scale big time and is only used in some niche places.

IOTA will most likely have been sabotaged a bunch of times and nobody in general trusts anything but PoW.

What else is there in the long term?

Interesting opinion, although very sharp. I'm still interested in one altcoin (Credits). I have been watching him for a long time, I think he has a great future.

I believe in Eth and Eos for this period of time. I consider that they are strongest ones on the cryptocurrency market and the risk of loss is very low.

Ethereum, NEO, Cardano, EOS, WISH, DASH, VeChain, Tron.

What I am seeing in the past 10 years is that Bitcoin was the dominant player of the game. Litecoin also has a big buzz then but lost it. Waves also lost its thing when it comes to competing with coins with more features and more usability like Ethereum. For the next ten I think there would be some changes but Bitcoins will still have it big.

i suggest bitcoin will still be the dominant of other coins Eth is being doing well also i see them great, those two coins dependeable rate is so high less risk by investors

10 years ago (more accurately little less than 9 years ago) we had a completely different list of top 10 coins and people believed they are going to be the "best coins" forever. then as their dumps came new coins replaced them and became "top 10" and this has happened not just once but multiple times so far. and it will not change in the future either.
in short it is impossible to "guess" what will the top 10 altcoins are going to be in 10 years.

Crypto-currency units have recently become popular in our country. It does not have a 10-year career now. According to my research the best subcoins are in 10 years Ada, Mtc, Ripple, Dovu, Seth, Eth, Trig, Appc and Qrx

I am sure Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Eos and Stellar lumens will last for quite a while, Eos and Stellar lumens are already platforms for ICOs, I'm sure Eos and Stellar Lumens will be serious challengers for Ethereum.

In the next ten year from my opinion, bitcoin will still remain the best and most dominated crypto with ethereum being the second best crypto and the most dominated altcoin, Neo, litecoin, waves, eos, cardano and ripple will also become more potential.

Lots of technical stuff that you are speaking about these coins here. However I dont believe in the 10 years of period. We already spent a decade in the crypto currencies and they are struggling for their freedom since then but nothing is moving in the positive direction yet. To be frank, we don't even know whether crypto will exist after 10 years from now because its instability and political pressure being against it can be disturbing fact here. Crypto currencies aren't that easy to handle, an altcoin project will come and go in the market all the time. Unless it doesnt have real use it wont be in existence. So be careful when you talk about that kind of long terms.

It is impossible to guess. For the next ten there would be big changes. We'll just wait and see.

I choose XRP, ADA, ETH and IoT for long time holding (over 2 years). The others, will see how they go in next year. This year is not very good for trading as well as holding!

Though ICO as such may be dead, we would see a huge surge in utility tokens as a payment option. There are already successful implementation of token as payment.
I think bitcoin would still be the marketcap leader as there would be lesser speculative coins.

10 altcoin you should invest in the next 10 years that is:

4. Ripple.

I am interested in Japanese DAG coins.

I think the long-term idea is a DAG coin!

I see a great future in ethereum and it has a huge potentiality to increase even to the point that it will take over bitcoin in the nearest future. Other cryptocurrencies that follow ethereum are cardano, stellar, OmiseGo, tron, EOS, ethereum classic, NIM, MTC and ENT. Among them, I have much hope in cardano and stellar.

I think it is unpredictable now. No one can predict what will happen within ten years. Now many altcoins cannot guarantee that the future will still exist. So I can't give you a prediction.

It's unable to predict top 10 altcoins in 10 years for now. The crypto world changes really fast, many new good altcoins with great technologies release every year.  But I think Bitcoin is the King, always.

as per my researches , its  better to put ziliqa and EOS and ETH. Those  have  great  futures.

The ones on top today are most probably the ones that will also be on top by the next 10 years. The top 20 will most likely shuffles a bit but they are still going to be there. There might be some projects that will suddenly appear but those tokens which had already established today are going to last in the middle of this storm. ETH price will probably be half the price of BTC too.

I would choose the top 10 coins on coinmarketcap. Because it is a safe choice for long-term investment options

For sure ETH is one of the top 10 cryptos in 10 years because  we really knew that eth is the 2nd bitcoin so in.the future it could be in a good place and a good price . Though the price of eth now is very low sort of it is just quiet right now but soon it would really high

I am sure that there will be Eos on the first place, and Eth, Monero, Waves, Stellar, Cardano, Neo, Ltc, ADA and Tron will be after this. This is my prediction.
