I do not really understand the rules of merit in this forum because there was no merit to raise rankings to members & full members.
job factors that hinder me don't care about the bitcointalk forum

how do i get merit to raise the rankings ????

You can get merits only from other members of the forum for quality posts, for example. Now, it is almost impossible to raise high level because nobody from high lvl needs more new high lvl profiles.

Merit is initiated to avoid the scam and spam things happening on this forum. I see the people invested on the buying accounts and making spamyard as well. These all things need to get vanished for admin. Henceforth he try to streamline the usage of merits.

If you want to get the rank up after the Junior member rank you need to get the merits to rank up as per forum rules guys. I see the investors sometime buy the rank called copper member on this forum. This can be done without the merit.

To make money, you must do something useful. Write an interesting and useful article on a free theme. The first to write significant news from the world of crypto-currency or help the person in solving his problems.

You have to work very hard. As the previous speaker wrote, you should write a post of very high quality and if it will be useful to the members of the forum, you will certainly be thanked

Yes sorry you came at a time when regulations are getting tighter because of this so no one is abusing this forum for personal gain, cleaning up spam and everything else, enough for you to better understand to many people try and understand the meaning of serious and clean discussion, which you have to do keep this forum interesting and useful for most people and others will not hesitate to give you a gift, make something of quality.

The only way is you must hyper active in this forum you will get merits because everyone expecting some interesting information so you should share something related to new innovation surely some peoples are give the merits. But you do not predict which is best statement for this scenario so post very important in this forum. Nowadays many spam users are increase in this forum it is useful to identify the worst users.

Very simple but difficult to achieve. Just post a quality,knowledgeable and meaningful post,if someone attract to your post and give you merit then your a lucky person.

Merits rule is completely understandable when previously want to increase from Member to Full Member; only activity is 120 only. After the Merit system, to the Full Member requires 120 activities and 100 Merit. And the only way to earn Merit is to contribute quality posts in the community.

    You don't need merit until Jr Member rank then you need to earn 10 merit to become a member,100 merit to become full member and much bigger merit to become in a higher rank.  But i just want you to know that earning merit is not easy to achieve if that was you think. You need to post with quality, constructive and attractive post to the forum. Who knows there is someone attract with your post and give you merit.

There are so many newbies asking about the current merit system.

You can get merit from someone only if you have sex with another HIGH RANKED MEMBER. Otherwise, you get nothing. You get extra merits if you're gay/lesbian. ;)

I think these three topics are enough for the start. Read them carefullly, learn from them, apply tips inside, then OP author can find available answers for his questions next times.

If you have to ask that, it means that you have not gone through the official thread. First go through it, to get all the information you desire about merit system.

You will also know a lot through comments there and may be answer some merit related queries here to get the merits you desire.

Not true.  You might have to work harder if you're a simpleton, but I don't consider writing good posts to be much work.  Also, speakers speak and writers write, at least when you're referring to them in the context you did.

The guy was asking about earning merits, not earning money.  I'd also point out that I earned all of my merits NOT writing on what you suggested.  It's not likely anyone here is going to be writing groundbreaking news articles about crypto when there are already so many sources of news writing about said news more thoroughly and competently than any shitposter here could write.

I love how all the low-merit members have to chime in with their great advice on how to earn merit, as if they've figured it out.  Let me tell you, you haven't figured anything out.  Thanks for turning Meta into another spammy cesspool.

I can attest to this.  After about 400 merits or so, my bone hole started looking like a glazed donut and I've had to wear a homemade diaper ever since.  I don't think I'll ever be normal again.

You expect a suggestion from a noob with little to no merit to be taken as anything other than spam?

This question has been posted since the start of the merit system. Its been 6 months. Can you please stop asking anything about merit system blah blah blah.

To get merits you need to figure out how to use the search function on this forum. Also, visiting Beginners & Help section might help to get some.

Correct it is a new addition to the forum and it has been here since more than 4months (If I am not wrong). However you have not learnt about it yet because you are busy claiming bounties and posting in your local boards. Well I dont blame you for that, since the majority of bitcointalk "bounty hunters" are like that. ::)

If posting on bitcointalk to get paid is your job then you need to find a new job - does that make sense?

Help yourself by reading the stickies on this section first before posting a new thread about merit.

There are many misunderstandings about merit, and the anagrams of the word illustrate this -

Timer - some members think that merit should be based on the time spent posting, and not the quality of the posts.
Remit - I've seen posts that merits are only awarded in return for payments, or the provision of services
Mitre - If your profile inducates that you are a member of the religious elite of Bitcoin Talk, then the suggestion is that you will receive more merits.
Me 'rit - Posting many mesages in bad or garbled English should result in the award of merit.

The real answer is that if you want to be a merit magnet, you need to have steel in your posting ( note that is not 'steal' or plagiarism ), and keep out of the midden. Posts suitable for the midden will never become merit magnets.
